What worked for my ance:
- eating crushed raw garlic and coconut oil 3x a day
- homemade ginger tea before breakfast, after lunch and befored bed
- 1 green juice / day
- high quality multivitamin
Skin care:
- castile soap as face wash or any oil based cleanser
- any non alcholoic toner with witch hazel
- face oil for moisturizer

about your acne - i know it's none of my business, I'm just trying to help :) - using old make-up might be harming your skin, making your acne worse... many products expire after 6 months / 1 year, so be careful about that!

If the cream your dermatologist isn't working, you should look into The Ordinary skincare line. They have a granactive retinoid emulsion that will help heal acne scars and even skin texture. They also have a AHA face peel that will fade dark spots over time. The whole line is cheap as hell!
I get that eye thing too, it's called blepharitis! I've to be really careful using oil based products near my eyes. Diluting baby shampoo in water and washing your lash lines with a cotton bud really helps! Also herbs like eyebright and bilberries help too!

id recommend fresh aloe vera for acne! cut the actual leaf and just peel off the green layer, put it on your face and keep it on or wash off after awhile if you feel like it, cleared up my skin so much! I also like a natural yoghurt and tumeric mask, a tablespoon greek yoghurt with a teaspoon tumeric, put it on your face and once its stiff... rinse off :) If you want a natural face scrub to get the excess tumeric off, I'd recommend cutting half a tomato and dipping it in brown sugar and press it against your face in a circular emotions:)

Have you ever tried using fresh aloe on your face? My acne scars get kinda dark and using aloe at night and the washing it off in the morning has helped soooo much.
my current fave song is Badunkadunk by BLV. and OMG you read the Uglies series!! ME TOO GURL. Also, in regards to caking your face everyday, it doesn't necessarily make you more confident. It might make some people more confident, but it doesn't for me. I don't like a full cake of foundation and concealer, because it doesn't feel right and I fudge with it all day and worry about if it's messed up and then get super oily at the end of the day. Idk, everyone's different, but I've always stuck to a rule of thumb that when it comes to wearing makeup I do brows, highlight, lips. Frame my face. My skin, but enhanced (no shade to those girls who like cake). I feel like you might like that style of makeup? Like the brands milk makeup and glossier are specifically marketed towards women like me who prefer this style. I don't like wearing foundation or concealer because it doesn't feel like me. My skin's imperfect and that's the way it's meant to be and I feel confident that way.
