Note: After seeing so many useless click bait videos of supposed workshop tricks never known by anyone before, I had to use a similar title to see what happens. The only difference is that this trick actually works, and is useful. It's not my idea anyway, but it's a good one. Merry Xmas everyone 😎😎 Cheers Rob
Very clever Rob. Will add that to the arsenal. Have 3D printed lots of dust adapters but holding them on tight is now going to be a breeze. Merry Christmas.
Another good video Rob, keep them coming, there’s always something to learn and improve my workshop. Have a safe and happy Christmas and New Year Rob from Brisbane.
Might be overboard to some, but I get rowdy while working. If it were me, I would put screws or rivets on each side as well. That way the stress from the vacuum hose is spread out. Good stuff amigo. Be safe and happy holidays
Good spotting. That pad is a cheapie from TEMU and the holes don't line up. I later used a wad punch to put a few extras in the correct place. TEMU pads have poor quality grit as well. I wouldn't buy them again. Cheers Rob
Hi Bill. And to top it off I'm not even Asian. I resisted putting "a million people don't know this secret trick" in the title coz that could infer it was click bait ,and I wouldn't want that. When you inform click baiters their secret trick is basic apprentice shit everyone knows and the miracle gadget they just made out of junk is a waste of time, they thank you (probably for the sucker click you did). So much of this stuff is out there now. Cheers Rob

G'day Derek. Worth sharing. Simple, but so handy. Merry Xmas to you and yours as well. Cheers Rob
All the best Rob, happy Christmas mate 🎉
You too Ralfy 👍

Thanks Tracey. Best wishes to you and yours as well. Cheers Rob
I've seen it before but when you don't use something often you tend to forget about it when it's finally needed. Great tip! Thanks for the reminder.
Could be handy one day. Worth sharing. Cheers Rob
Love it when you come up with perlas like this Rob. All the best for Christmas and the New Year mate.
Glad you liked it. All the best for you and yours as well. Cheers Rob

I did consider gluing it as well, but the hot wire trick worked well enough. Cheers Rob
Merry Christmas to you and yours Rob.
Likewise for you and yours. Cheers Rob
Excellent idea Rob 👍👍 When you mentioned a screw I was just thinking, how's he going to get a hole in that?? Nice trick 😂 Cheers, Alan.
Hi Alan. It worked well. Simple trick worth sharing. Merry Xmas. Cheers Rob
Great idea Rob. Another little tip to file away in my memory bank. Merry Christmas and a Peaceful New Year. Cheers Nobby
Could come in handy one day. Best wishes to you and yours. Cheers Rob
Good idea Rob 👍👍👍
I thought so. Worth sharing. Cheers Rob
Looks good idea to me Rob. You've actually got suction now and not a restriction. Cheers Tony
Dead right Tony. The vacuum should keep all the nasties under control. Merry Xmas. Cheers Rob
It looked like the holes in the sander's pad only matches two of the holes in the sandpaper. Would new holes help draw the dust through?
Good spotting. That pad is a cheapie from TEMU and the holes don't line up. I later used a wad punch to put a few extras in the correct place. TEMU pads have poor quality grit as well. I wouldn't buy them again. Cheers Rob
That's one to store in the memory banks. Have a great and joyous xmas season.
Merry Xmas to you too, Cheers Rob
