Always sew your zipper in FIRST, before you do the rest of the sides.
With right sides of your fabric together, measure the length of the zipper placing it centered on the length of seam. Mark top and bottom of zipper with pins. Using a normal stitch length, sew from the corner of the pillow to the pull end of the zipper, then sew from the opposite corner to the bottom of the zipper (where the stopper is).
Next, use a long stitch to baste the zipper part of the seam closed. Iron the seam open. Unzip the zipper. Position the top stopper of the zipper even with the end of your basting stitch making sure the pull is facing the seam. Line up the center of the zipper coil or teeth directly over the center of the basted part of the seam. Starting at the top of the zipper, use your zipper foot and a normal stitch length to stitch the first side of the zipper into place. When you get to the bottom of the zipper, stitch past the stopper approximately 1/8". With the needle in your fabric, lift your presser foot, pull the zipper tab to close the zipper, then pivot the fabric 90 degrees to stitch across the bottom of the zipper. Stop at the seam marking on the 2nd side of zipper tape. With the needle in your fabric, pivot the fabric and sew up the 2nd side of the zipper. Remove the basting stitch and open the zipper.
Next, sew the remaining 3 sides of the pillow. Reinforce corners with tiny stitches. Trim corners at 45 degree angles to remove excess fabric. Press seams open. Turn pillow right side out and you're done!!!

Nicely done! A couple of things ,the white shelves dont quite sit well with the rest of the furniture ,I also think that you should not put anything on the top of your lovely antique hutch ,it draws attention away from it.

It looks beautiful. I love using vintage pieces mixed in with newer pieces, and I have been collecting inexpensive prints and frames since I moved into my first apartment after I graduated from high school in 1969. Tastes change over the years - not talking about running out and buying everything new to duplicate the latest trends - ugh! I think that's just wasteful and unnecessary. I am one of those people who holds on to furniture for 20/30/40 years and I still have the very first bedroom set I bought for myself around 1974 - in the French Provincial style. I still love it, too. It's not essential but perhaps some viewers would find it helpful if you showed a breakdown of the total cost for the formal living room for things you bought (not that you owned already) to furnish and style the room. There are fabulous bargains for quality used furniture to be found every day!
