- A little info on these sights if anyones having issues with a good 100 yard zero and don’t want your rear peep to be in danger of falling off. If in the case that you decide to shim the front post, I read where people were recommending 2 layers worth of soda can tin, maybe three to get it shooting perfect.
You may not have these issues depending on your load but I feel my load is pretty standard for elk hunting Western Washington with open sights.
Thanks good info. I was trying to figure out how to adjust mine having the same issue.
I had to shim the front up for using it on a Thompson Omega for the exact same reason. A CO. hunt so I couldn't use my scope or pellets. 135 grains of Pyrodex and a platnum powerbelt at 40 yards left a large a large exit hole and a 50 yard heavy blood trail
thx! great Bull!!
Great information!
