    Hello I have a question if you dont mind to answer , can it directly connect to phonak hearing aid and transmits the sound while placing the drum on patient?

    Hi DD, I'm really struggling. I just bought a Littman Core digital stethoscope. I recall watching a video of yours which said that you can connect the stethoscope directly to the phonak hearing aids even though the product literature says not compatible. Please can you point me in the right direction of that video where you also show how to connect it. Please😢

    Hello, I would like to know what brand and model of hearing aid you have managed to pair with the littmann Cuore stethoscope via bluetooth.
    Thank you

    I appreciate the review. I am looking into purchasing one for myself. I start nursing school next spring. Since you’ve had it a few months know. What are your thoughts?

      Hi jacquelinholder, I have been using the CORE more than my Thinklabs because of the bluetooth capabilities. I am still trying to calibrate BPs, there is a slight delay. I will try to provide an update very soon.

      @@healthyhearingloss9953 do you have a Littmann Stethoskop?

    Hi, great video. I have never used a stethoscope before so need to learn from scratch. If I stream into hearing aids via Bluetooth, am I right in assuming that I don't really need to hear the sounds as the eko app would show me any anomalies?

    • @healthyhearingloss9953
      @healthyhearingloss9953  Год назад +1

      Hi Taseen Mohamed, it depends on what you are looking to "hear" or "see" or even both. For example, hearing blood pressures requires to hear the fades of sounds with no visuals with a stethoscope however you could use an automated blood pressure that requires no sounds. If you want to see a heart rhythm then you will see the abnormality in the waveforms at the same time as hearing them with a stethoscope. I don't bother looking at the eko app while taking blood pressures or listening to lung sounds. I only look at the eko app if I want to see and hear the heart beat or rhythm. I hope that makes sense.

    As far as I can tell from the Littman site, the Core digital attachment is redundant, because the Core Digital Stethoscope already includes it. The purpose of the digital attachment is to convert your own, ordinary stethoscope into a digital one. So, all you really needed was either (a) your original stethoscope plus the attachment for $209 or (b) the Core Digital Stethoscope for $329. I might be wrong, since I haven't ordered one yet, but that's the way it appears.

      Hi Mike, you are spot on! I had made a follow-up video explaining my mistake and corrected it to match your description. Nicely worded by the way. I'm learning as I go with video making, LOL!

      Hi @user-oj6kf8xq8f, the littmann CORE connects directly to the Eko app on a iPhone/android through bluetooth, no adapter needed.

    Can I use littmann core digital stethoscope without earpiece

    • @healthyhearingloss9953
      @healthyhearingloss9953  2 года назад

      Hi Dr. Abhijeet kolsepatil, It depends on your setup, if you are streaming through bluetooth to hearing aids and the Eko app, you do not need to use the ear piece. Hope that answers your question.

    I have cochlear nucleus 8 I’m having trouble on how to connect mine to my hearing aid

      I am not familiar with the cochlear nucleus 8 but here is a video I found on RUclips to help you start troubling shooting. ruclips.net/video/mLTeqbaAkL0/видео.html .
      I recommend talking with your audiologist to help you connect to the Eko app on your phone which should allow you to stream through the processor or hearing aid. Good luck!

    This is great video..
    I am 26 years old from Bangladesh & working as a medical assistant. I did Tympanoplasty in my both ear due to CSOM. Right not both tempenic membrane is good. And also no hearing loss in right ear. But my left ear has moderate conductive hearing loss present.
    Present probem: i did no to hear heart sound, lung sound with general stethoscope.
    Plz give me suggestion for HA & Stetoscoep.

      Hi shaker ahmed sumon, I hope you continue to work with your ENT doctor regarding your hearing loss to your left ear. The ENT doc would recommend HA fitting from an Audiologist if necessary. In the meantime, perhaps you could consider trying headphones with a Thinklabs stethoscope. This would eliminate putting standard ear pieces from a stethoscope tubing or earplug or buds into the canals which you may want to avoid due to your history of CSOM. Again, your ENT is the best one to get the advise from. Keep us posted. Good luck!

    All the littmman core sthetoscope comes with the bluetooth parts?

    • @healthyhearingloss9953
      @healthyhearingloss9953  3 года назад

      Thanks for the question zeco jr. The Littman Core Digital Stethoscope has bluetooth wireless connectivity. It has the ability to connect to cell phones via Eko App. My experience so far, my new hearing aids (Phonak Paradise) has bluetooth technology and pairs with the Eko App. This question has me thinking... I going to try my old hearing aids that does not have bluetooth technology but it may work with a streamer which has bluetooth.

      @@healthyhearingloss9953as your hearing aids have bluetooth in it can they stream the signals directly from the 3Am littmann core digital Stethoscope? Or only just playing the recorded ECG ..
      Cause I need an ability to hear the Heart pulses once I place the drum on patients heart by the tile hearing it vis the bluetooth connectivity between phonaks BTE & the stethoscope itself
      Is that applicable? 🙏🏼
