Life in Møre og Romsdal is a cinematic travel documentary where we document our time living on the west coast of Norway. We begin with a village tour around Brattvåg, which sits in the shadow of Hellandshornet, a 882m high mountain. Next, we show snippets of our daily rural life with a tour of Piku’s workplace and the apartment.
The next section compares the climate in Ålesund and London; we also discuss the Northern lights, the midnight sun and the rare sun pillar. Next we take a dive into Norway’s outdoors lifestyle (Friluftsliv) which consists of activities in nature such as hiking, camping and foraging. We then discuss what it is like fishing in Norway, with footage of us catching and preparing a fish for a meal.
In the final third, we take a fjord cruise to Urke, a remote village with a population of just 53 inhabitants. On the cruise we discuss the challenges of farming in Norway and upon arrival in Urke, we go on another village tour.

Innvandrer is the Norwegian word for immigrant which literally translates to one who wanders in. “Innvandrers Guide to Norway” is a cinematic vlog and travel documentary series that aims to show what it is like living in Norway and to make Norwegian history and culture accessible to English speaking audiences.
