You have to keep reviewing more frangances from Lattafa, Maison Alhambra, Frangance World, Armaf... there are huge gems in arab fragances (they are all produced and formulated in Barcelona tho :P)
@@SJulian007 Dude, wear whatever makes you happy perfumes has no gender smelling like wood wont make you more manly or smelling like flowers or sweet wont make you girly. It doesnt matter where you work what you do. Express yourself as you really like :) Go to the store and try all of them.
@jimmy5634 hey, just got a bottle of CDNIM a few days ago. It's pretty harsh lemon in the opening and the drydown is abit better but still smells similar. Should I just let it mature for awhile which should help improve it?
I like Asad better than Elixir, it doesn't have the quality or nuclear power, but to me it's more likable. Also, not all my Lattafa fragrances needed maceration, but some really improved noticeably.
smells the same, is not my cup of tea, but I appreciate the quality and balls of Lattafa and other ME houses exposing how in some cases when you over pay is just because of the brand and not really because of the product it self. love your reviews BTW :)
Asad smells very close but not as deep and slightly sweeter. It might be actually more approachable than sauvage elixir. I get many complements with it. I have boss bottled elixir as well and I actually prefer it over sauvage elixir. Same style of frag but with more incense Vs spice and licorice. A nice twist on that style
Don't ya think it probably sits in the bottle a few month's before its bought? I'm confused about the whole maceration thing. I'm not sure if I even spelled it correctly.
I ordered mine last night. Blind buy. For the price ($25), you really can’t complain. Also went ahead and bought Fakhar and Fursan😅😅 again… $17-$25 per cologne. I’m sure the smell won’t disappoint for that price.
Atomic Marine Salt Water Funk 😆 I love it!!! It's like you jumped in the ocean with your clothes on and walked around all day without changing... definitely not a safe blind buy tho
I Loved the opening of asad, but lost interest over time. Smells like elixir with a warmer dry down. Great scent, but gave it away. Now obsessed with Creed Aventus Absolu dna dupes, which is similar to elixir, same spicy type opening but it’s more fruity instead of vanilla in dry down
Please review Ishq Al Shuyuk Gold. It's my favorite Lattafa from the Pride line. It's a really interesting and unique vanilla fragrance because it has rubber tire vibes from the leather that's really dominant. I really want to hear your opinion on what gender it smells good on!
@@HifniZul No, in the first thirty minutes it's rubber only. After that's it's still rubbery even after the dry down it's just complemented by the vanilla and a general creamy sweetness. Trust me you want that. I hate fragrances that are vanilla forward, this is unique and interesting. Only on late drydown like after 6 7 hours on skin or a day on clothes does it lose its ruberyness and becomes a bit of a boring common vanilla. Not sure though maybe I've just adapted to it by then and it gives me that impression. I hope so because the opening and the initial drydown of this is so mesmerizing!
In my opinion sauvage elixir is extremely overhyped. It's a good cologne but the way every influencer (not talking about you) simps for this colognes like its the greatest thing to happen to humanity is nuts. I smelled it from a tester and it was a nice scent so I bought a 60 ml bottle. It's a good fragrance but nothing mind blowing. It also doesn't help that certain batches have performance which is so fcked because of the price it goes for.
can you do lattafa asad zanzibar ? it's a summer fragrance (the same bottler but dark blue, I have it and I would like to know your opinion) thank you Melissa
The quality difference between the og and the dupe is in the dry down. The og has a much smoother experience overall and the dry down is a lot more “blueish” than the dupe. Latafa ends up smelling like pure spice on the tail end of the dry down. If you’ve worn the og you probably won’t like this after a while.
@@ShadowRegis sunken cost fallacy.
