As far as performance is concerned all of the lataffa fragrances I've tried are way above average, with amazing quality for the price.
Awesome review Ash. I just added this to my collection, to my nose this is Elixer with a twist. Alexandria fragrances nailed it with thier clone of elixer.
Maybe a clone house with discontinued and high end fragrances in a great package is a solid idea.
I just bought this and have to say...it's Divine! Dare I say even better than Elixir. It's sweeter, less pungent, and drys down so well. The Patchouli/Vanilla really comes through. It's almost hard to imagine something so inexpensive that smells this decent! Then again, we do tend to believe that excess means Quality. So it's refreshing that this is just a solid, affordable, quality Cologne.

Ive been sniffing and spraying myself with elixir every opportunity i got at the airport, loved the scent but didnt want to spend so much money for 60ml. Got asad and I am so so happy with the purchase. I get that there are differences for some more sophisticated noses but to me it smells extremely similar and for the money it's an absolute bargain!! Thank you Ash for your review. I am really glad I tried it out!

I just got this and the dry down is way way better than the opening. The longer it's on the nicer it seems to get. Great longevity as well. Excellent buy at £22

I started with Raghba for Man. First time spraying it, just unbelievable. I think I'm going to explore the Universe of Lattafa more and more. I just don't care anymore whether it's a clone of something something. At least I know where my money goes besides foods

I've seen a lot of your videos before, casually here and there over the years, but this particular one, the way you spoke and explained things, it was somehow super impressive. The mood you were in or something. It just flowed and was completely on point and totally concise and clear in every way. It just was very professional in a relaxed flowing way. @@HisMajesty99 Elixir is a beast mode fragrance. 10 hrs plus on skin and it projects like a monster for at least 4 hours.
Don't use more than 2 sprays or you'll run everyone away from you..

The Lattafa Asad arrived today. It is awesome. It is exactly the scent I have been trying to achieve with my layering of Dior Sauvage fragrances. I have ordered four more bottles because I know I will use this a lot.
Gee. Maybe let others get their chance to smell the fragrance instead of selfishly hoarding something inessential like a fragrance.

I now hold Lattafa in very high regard. The whole concept of clones to me have changed. Used to be I went to the local independently Middle Eastern owned store and you see the clones for $4.99 for 300ml. You can read like it say, Polo Green wanna be. You get it, and you maybe get for three seconds, a hint of the scent. Then it's gone in an hour or two.
Now,maybe the past three months got Our For Glory, so that to me is literally getting the same juice. No really difference. This I got the other day. One of my favorite scents. The bottle I must say is solid. It really to me represents the smell. It's thick, power, and masculine. I love this.
I see online Lattafa has a clone of Tom Ford's Oud Wood. It's Lattafa but like a sub branch but the bottle is close looking, and it's very evident it's the same presentation and I wanna get it. It's called Woody Oud. It's not talked about but some of the research I done are saying it's one to one. Maybe check it out if you see it.

Honestly, I’m obsessed with Dior Elixir, so I got the Asad today and it smells sooo…… close to the Elixir. Awesome.
The elixir is male reproductive fluid inside of it that make the parfume more... Alive

Ash, I've noticed this before, but your fragrance review's have a huge impact on the sale of certain scents and this one is a prime example. This bottle has been on FragCa for at least a week because I noticed it everyday. You do a review on it, I checked it and it was still there so I put it in my wishlist, than moments later it is sold out just like that. Had to be your review that did it, so I say this to say, that your review's make a difference and these companies that profit owe you some gratitude.
Same thing happened to me 😭 Had it in my cart still showing in stock, looked away for a couple min and already sold out! Only place I see it available is ebay for 35$ but all international sellers which takes a while. Best of luck to those looking to buy a bottle!

This one will basically give me what I have been trying to achieve by layering so this is an immediate order. Once it arrives I suspect I might order multiples if it provides exactly what I want.

I add a little EDT over my Elixir, and I think it smells great. Starts off a little fresh and sharper and fades off into the warmer and smoother Elixir after some time. Thought I was weird for layering the different Sauvages, but I guess you do it too :)
@@HisMajesty99 Definitely not weird. The Dior representative at my local Department store actually provided advice on layering. It means you create your own bespoke signature fragrance.

Hey ash, do you ever wear any of your clones regularly? I started collecting fragrance, in part, thanks to you. But I tend to only wear my favorites, because they smell amazing. I have many of the usual suspects, designer, and clone, but to be honest,some of my favorites are clones, and I would much rather wear them than waste my originals by wearing them daily.
I suffer from affordability stress, when I wear my more costly fragrances, like sauvage elixer. Meaning I stress out when I wear them because I know how much it's going to cost to replace an empty bottle. Dior didn't help by only making 2oz bottles for $160 for elixer.
Obviously you can afford to buy pretty much what you want, but I am still curious if there are any clones you wear regularly or used to wear regularly when you were first starting out. Thanks

Is Asad supposed to have a strong incense note to it? Does Elixir have that? I'm getting an incense note on the dry down that is taking over the vanilla which I was diggin on the open. Is that normal for Asad? Does Elixir have that?

Just got the asad Lataffa and i gotta say it does smell very similar to elixir, but wlixir is much more Fresh and you can definitely smell the wuality in Dior as appose to Asadis a little dark and might only be wearable in cold nights
Do you smell more vanilla during the dry down in Asad? And what notes do you mostly smell in ghe Elixir dry down? I've heard asad smells more vanilla than anything else.

I love this fragrance. It took me back to my childhood, my dad used to wear a cologne called best by lomani. Maybe asad is much better quality. Absolutely ❤ this. Backup bottles on the way🎉
Hey Ash....with Dior Homme Parfum sooooo hard to get hands in anywhere (I'm in the UK), could you do a video on best alternatives or straight up clones of DHP?
It’s still available direct from Dior. Yes, the bottle and volume of liquid has changed but I’ve seen many comments that it’s the same batch and formulation as the ‘old’ DHP.
Duas version is fantastic,think it's called intense homme attar,not to be confused with the intense homme which is dior intense lol.

Hey, honestly Dior Homme Intense (as long as it's not 2022 batch which is apparently bad) is fairly close and is honestly going to be better than any clone. If you want to actually get Homme parfum, keep your eyes opened in any airport duty frees. Most have online sites
Try Narciso Rodriguez for him bleu noir parfum or EDP. Amazing work very close. 60 $ for 100 ml.

I like Lattafa's Qaa'ed, Ana Abiyedh Rouge (an obvious BR540 clone but more fruity) and appreciate Maahir Black (is a bit too niche smelling for my taste with that hyper realistic smoke note).

You talk about the opening of Lataffa Asad being harsh. Well, I bought and wore Lattafa Ramz Gold, and I hate it, especially because of the harsh alcohol opening. I also find that it has a weak smell and projection. It is not worth the 24 bucks I paid, when I have great Franck Olivier fragrances that cost as much. So is this Asad worth buying?
Yeah about the opening: That's happened to me once when I 1st bought Club de nuit intense... I didn't like that 1st spray one bit... but as it settled and I kept using it, the initial bad opening vanished.
Same here. It has more of a Pepper smell at first and it’s „harder“ but I really like the dry down. Montblanc Explorer is smoofer and I like it a bit more. At the end I LOVE both 😍

FYI+if you bath with a sandalwood soap it might give it a smooth powdery vibe for a couple of hours

I first wore this yesterday and I still smell it on my skin the next day even after scrubbing it with soap. It performs fine I even got a compliment from a stranger yesterday she said she likes that spicy smell.

I wasn't going to buy this as I love the OG Sauvage ELIXIR. However I've seen it's on offer for £17 so I'm going add it to my order. I guess I can always use it if I want to save my ELIXIR for certain occasions

What if any smell just runs on recognition so everybody who smells stuff the first time (96 % of people you meet with a new parfum) find it weird (simlar to you own first impression of a new type of smell), because they first have to adabt the ability to recognize?

Got mine in yesterday. Worked all day slept showered and still could smell it on my skin. I think it’s overall 8.5/10 the atomizer isn’t the best.

Just purchased assad, don't like it one bit, smells like a smoky firecracker from beginning to end but then again I should've known better, I don't like Dior Savage so I don't know why I would think this would be any different for me
I also ordered the Raghba wood Intense and the fakhar.
