  • 392 Rubicon Wrangler rolled over upside down in Cleghorn, We had all the tools needed for the recovery but unfortunately there were two jeeps that were not able to back up the chute so We could get the YJ in position, never the less, Kubicon, one of the jeeps stuck up there, was able to lend us a hand in this recovery, since backing it up or turning around was a very difficult task. Over all it was a Fun and Successful Recovery.

    Went to Cleghorn on my 2nd gen 4runner with my now wife few years ago. Wanted to take the fire road just to drive and chill out. There's like 2 spots that have Y on the road. I made the mistake of taking I think the same spot these guys took. I pulled my driver mirror in and road the wall inches away. My tow hitch dragged on big rock. Made it. I'd wish some of these off shutes would have like a sign that say the number of the off shute and difficulty.

      There is a rock, with a skull and bones painted on it, at beginning of these off chute, it’s a bit hard to see tho. and that’s exactly what I say in my other video, if you are new to this trail, the difficult part is to chose right or left on some of the Y intersections lol

      @@rhinooffroadrecovery well if you are a business, and you were being paid to recover that vehicle then you and your business would have been liable in court. You could be sued for like $1,000,000 dollars! good video though, I did that trail in my Range Rover it was pretty fun.

    PSA if you look at the front of the center consol on the JL there is a plastic cover under it is a lever with an orange strap pull that until it clicks and it will put the jeep in neutral.

    • @rhinooffroadrecovery
      @rhinooffroadrecovery  2 года назад +1

      We found it, after We dragged it. Now We know. Every other vehicle, We recovered from this spot, was able to go on neutral and some We were able to drive them down the hill!

      They do and also to put it in neutral if its off you would have to remove a small panel in front of the shifter and pull a small rope.

      Wheel's turned driver vs straight, when the rear passenger top hit the rock, driver paniced, nailed the throttle sending the Jeep up that left wall and flipping it over. The key is nice and slow on this one.
