There is something so reassuring about reading "let's survive another week."
Totally agree.
With Jesus as your Lord and savior you can survive anything
Ikr..
Yes,, it has been my life motto since I started watching this channel :)
I want to survive like this 😅
I laughed really hard when the music was going then stopped with “no I can’t” because of the small bowl, hilarious!
Me too 😂 cos I do that too and it caught completely the feeling 🤣
"We are required to make both deep-fried food and shredded cabbage by law. THIS IS A LIE (sorry☆)"
Loved it! 😂
She's so funny. I love it!
you have no idea how badly i needed this today and this week in general… life moves so fast…but your videos always put me at ease ❤️
The sizzling sound of the hot oil when you fried that pork & onion skewers was 😭❤️❤️❤️ successfully made me hungry at 4:45 AM 😭
The sizzling sound of the hot oil when you fried that pork & onion skewers was 😭❤️❤️❤️ successfully made me hungry at 4:45 AM 😭
I can be full and watch one of her vids and still be hungry 🤣❤
put the cheese DYNAMICALLY! I love this :) I'm glad you're using many interesting and fun English words, Imamu-san! I hope we can all keep learning new things together
Yes, sprinkle the cheese dynamically is my kind of cooking energy!
I cannot get over how adorable your daughter is. She is so incredibly thoughtful, happy and funny. It's the sweetest thing watching her and Husbentos bond, they have such a beautiful relationship.
Does anyone else wave back when she says, "Hello, it's Imamu~"? I can't seem to help it! She makes such cute videos.
omg i never noticed it was a wave, that’s so cute
I’m so comforted by the small bits of conversation we get to hear from your daughter and husband. They are always so silly and sweet together and seem so happy with the yummy meals you make them.
I find it crazy adorable that your daughter mostly speaks in Japanese, but calls you Mummy and Daddy. It’s so cute. 💖
I also realize I comment as I watch but being a family of three ourselves, hearing your little one's voice always warms my heart!
Once your daughter starts school eventually are we going to get daughter bentos? (OvO)
Baby-bentos?
Maybe Mini bentos? 🍱
Dababy bentos
kobentos for ko 子 in japanese!
Kobentos is the best I think
so glad you still include the sections with your family eating dinner together. it's so lovely and cosy. I worried about missing that content when you went back to making bentos not just cooking for your lovely family! luckily there was no need to haha
The four people who disliked were so relaxed and so amazed they accidentally put dislike and fell asleep 💆♀️✨
I love these videos. So funny and educational and relaxing. Also cabbage has antioxidants that neutralize free radicals in deep-fried food, so they should go together by law. LOL
Being a true follower is about guessing correctly when she'll add dashi, bonito or mirin (although you've never tasted any of them!) 😄
trueeee hahahaha
You should try! Very easy to make homemade miso soup with dashi
You probably have eaten some of them without realizing
I don't remember eating Japanese food, and yet thanks to Imamu I have already ordered Udon noodles to make Indian style ramen 😍
She has started my dashi obsession! I now add a little to my veggies. So good!
Love your cooking, plating and patience. You’re doing a great job, keep on. You make cooking seem so easy, even when it’s not. I’m learning a lot, even though I’m 62 years old!!! Thanks Imamu 💕
I bet your husband feels so happy every time he opens his bento! I would love if you showed us how you plan your meals for the week! I always try to plan before grocery shopping but somehow always buy too much food and it goes bad. 😭
Love the husbentos videos already but seeing you three laughing at the table together melts my heart 💖
This looks so delicious. I guess that I need a husband to get a husbento. I should call mine single-bento.
Bent-uno!
bentone
I'd still be down for making one just for myself, with or without my husband - consider it self care. You know: 💅, 💆♀️, and 🍜🍢🍡🍱 lol!
@@athena608 I hate the nails stop lol. It reminds of people who thought they were being mature while talking bad about my friend right in front of him. You wanna know what happened next as soon I I started protecting him they had the ODACITY to say that I wanted attention. Like what. They would send this a lot btw 💅
I’ve been feeling a bit better lately after being sad for so long, these really help my mind be at peace. Thank you so much! ❤️
I love your encouragement of "Let's survive another week"! Watching your videos is a great way to start!
I’ve been checking RUclips religiously for your upload. I’m so excited!!
Me too 🥺
Yay! Another video. I'm excited to see what you cook up this time. Your videos always cheer me up 😊
The sound of sizzling and chopping never gets old 😌
as lovely as ever, I really want to try making the shrimp and shitake cutlets, they looked delicious :)
“It helps our stomach reduce the burdens “. I’m telling this to my kids when they refuse to eat veg 😀❤️😀
Those mushroom shrimp things look delicious, I will have to try!
I love the new square bento box you're using 😍😍 The wooden ones smell after a while but these are very sturdy.
Tho it had a condensation problem when I used them😕 maybe it's because the food is hot when you put into it?
I let the bento cool before closing whenever I make them, it'll stay fresh longer and wont be all soggy from the steam
You are meant to make the foods cool to room temp before closing the box or you will definitely get condensation and possibly food poisoning! You can read this for more info: www.justonecookbook.com/food-safety-tips-for-bento/
Make sure to wait for the food to cool down before you close the lid or else you get condensation and you might get food poisoning too.
Glad your back Imamu! I really hope you and your family is doing okay. Thank you for another great video and dishes as alwayss💛🌻
I want an apron that says “let’s survive another week” ❤️
Me: 10:40pm, preparing for bed
Imamu: uploads
Me: well I guess I want lunch now
i love your husbento videos!! they’re very comforting and calming to watch ^_−
I love watching your videos in the evenings, they are so relaxing. You are so creative and relatable, and I love your sense of humor. Your daughter is adorable too!
Thank you for allowing us to join you on your adventures when it comes to bento boxes for your hubby!
You always make it look so easy, but we can see the hard work and love that goes into every dish!
This guy is lucky to have new food to eat everyday.
Watching to your videos makes me nostalgic for the times when I was a kid and watching/hearing my parents cook in the kitchen ☺️
I love how kind everyone in the comments are; if you're reading this (yes, you) I hope you have a lovely day and God bless you
She does have the nicest comment section. No hate here, it's all love. I guess it's hard to send hate to such a genuinely good spirited person like imamu.
Imma be the haters then XD
@@ilikecatvids808 nooooo 😭 why choose hatred when you could choose love and kindness!!
Hi! We are from Mexico and we also eat cabbage with a lot of fried food! It is so interesting to see other cultures also use the same techniques!
I LOVE watching your videos! Thank you for helping me and others get through the pandemic!
At the risk of sounding cheesy, I’m so thankful for you and your channel! You help me remember to find the joy and peace in cooking for myself, and taking care of myself every day. Thank you!
Also: In the southern US, where I’m from, we like coleslaw with fried chicken and fish, so it makes perfect sense to me, to pair cabbage with fried foods.
Hello imamu! I don’t normally comment on videos but I watch your videos all the time! It is always the highlight of my week when you post, and I put your videos on when I am doing schoolwork! Thank you for sharing the joy of husbentos!
This is food for the soul✨
I am obsessed with your channel, It Is so relaxing AND heart warming to see you cook for your family, thank you for sharing this with us
First? Love your videos!
I love the cold noodles, would like to see more recipes using cold noodles. Thank you
If you were to have a cookbook I would buy it so fast! So much love goes into this food you should be so proud
I love her sense of humour! ‘My husband is a grown up now’ 😂😂 i enjoy your videos so much so many ideas
Man... This makes me really wanna buy a Bento box and start making my own meals. These recipes look so simple and easy!!! Honestly, if I ever have to start making myself meals Im def gonna get one and make a note pad of all these recipes
Imanu: We'll have barbecue today!
Proceeds to cut 50 different types of vegetables
Me: Wait a minute... that's a trap. A very mom trap. haha
Thanks for another video Imanu! Have a nice week everyone!
Well grilling vegetables can be barbeque too or do you think vegans for example can't do barbeque. 😄
@@jaime7658 I think the point is that BBQ usually means husband should be doing the work and the grilling, but she ended up cutting all the veggies.
@@NK-it8dz Oh. Didn't think of that. Usually here it's the one who just throws the bbq party, no matter if it's woman or man or anything else.
It's Korean style BBQ!
@@NK-it8dz I don't think that was the idea. In most areas of the US at least, if you say you're having "barbeque" people think of things like ribs, brisket, pulled pork, etc. Or grilling things like hamburgers or hot dogs. It's less referring to the method of cooking in those cases and more to what is typically being cooked.
When Imamu used the term, she was talking about the method of cooking and preparing, but to a lot of people it would seem like what she made wouldn't qualify as "barbeque". Most Americans would think of barbeque as usually primarily grilled or smoked meats, with either sauce or dry rub. Veggies like corn, green beans or greens might be served, but as a side dish/addition.
I survived another week thankfully for your videos. This family especially the little girls laughter brings me lots of joy and peace to my loney soul. Thank you so much hun.
Lovely video as always! I adore seeing the Sunday dinner family interactions
That was so good! Ive been waiting patiently for your next vlog lol...I enjoy them very much!
imamu i love your channel! it's really one of the biggest things that bring me joy and comfort in my week! thank you so much for your videos
I get a really hard time at eating (I don't really get hungry or I feel nauseous at most dishes, even if they're a favorite), and especially when it's the morning or dinner, like I really can't imagine to have appetite, but as a way of self-therapy in the meantime I got myself by watching cooking videos to estimulate somehow my saliva or something. Furtunately, it works a little more than I though, and you know which is the one who helps me more?
This entire channel.
I'm not joking that this channel it's been a treasure for almost a year now, really, and I mean really.
Thank you so much for this.
Hi I'm a new sub and I would like to say I enjoy your videos so far ❤️ they seem authentic and not super fancy. It feels like a real partner cooking for their significant other. Great job.
Currently my favorite channel on RUclips, thank you for sharing these moments with us 💖
I love the ASMR of Imamu tasting and eating her food. Comforting! 🥰
You’re videos are a highlight of my week ❤️ they provide me with some much calm and peace
I love these so much. Gives me inspiration for my meals during the week.
I’m addicted to imamu’s videos😌🥰🥰🥰
HELLO IMAMU!! 💜💜💜 I HOPE YOUR DOING WELL!! ANOTHER DAY OF TASTY DISHES!!
Great video, as always. I love when you factor in the "cook's treat" and have a little for yourself x
you deserve the WORLD for waking up and sharing all of these videos with us! Not only that but when i'm anxious watching these helps!
You've lightened my day, thank you ! I like your recipes and your comments are the best.
Beautiful food. Makes me super-hungry! Love your channel and the adorable bentos. Husbentos are great! When your daughter starts school, you can call the bento you pack for her, just "Bento-chan". Simple and friendly.
Your video are my lullaby, they make me feel so relaxed, thank you
I am always so happy when a new video comes up. Love ❤️ watching this before I go to sleep 💤
I just ran across this channel and now I'm addicted! Everything looks so good and I can tell you really care. How lucky ur family is!
my weekly therapy! your videos have added so much to my cooking style, i can't thank you enough. I cannot live with tsuyu now, and this is the second time I believe you have made these shrimp and mushroom patties, they look so delicious, i have to try and make them sometime!!
Your daughter is too cute as the ginger ale monitor!! I really love seeing the interactions between you and your beautiful family! Your husband really seems to be enjoying the time spent with your daughter. Puts a huge smile on my face!! 😁
It's amazing how much your English has improved. I don't see any little spelling mistakes nearly at all anymore. It never bothered me but you've grown a lot 😊
I’m pretty sure I watched and rewatched about half of your videos. We love you!!!
I make it a point not to watch these with my husband around. I make delicious food and meal prep so that its easy for lunch as well as dinner. However, the one time my husband saw me watching your video he was jealous of the good food you make. I do not make a lot of fried food because that takes so much time and I still have to figure out how to filter out the oil safely so I can reuse it when deep frying. I definitely do not go through the effort of making cute patterns on things though. Yesterday I made Jeyuk-deopbap following Maangchis recipe when my husband packed his own lunch he was taking so long I asked "what are you doing?!" he said he was "trying to pat the rice down to make it look pretty like you do" HAHAHAHA
You can filter the oil through coffee filters. Works great. In restaurants we have these large cone shaped coffee filters that we use to filter the oil at night.
@@brittanykeith9551 thanks for the suggestion. I am curious to try it.
Thank u so much for making these videos^^ lately I'm struggling to eat well and more but with your amazing content I'm starting to feel better and I hope someday I could do this awesome recipes to my beloved ones ^^ Have a nice day ❤️
This whole channel gives me Simple, happy, and joyful vibes 😌
i just stumbled upon this while looking for lofi music to relax to while working and i gotta say this is much better! i love watching ppl cook but with not a ton of talking , very soothing:)
Good work again this week 😊 This is really relaxing and fun to watch 💕
So cute and refreshing! Hope this channel flourishes cuz the videos are really soothing and wholesome. Sending you lots of love for your hard work!!!
Been waiting for your video 🤩🤩🤩🤩 So excited ✨✨✨✨✨
Cabbage or lettuce with fried food is great combo in my opinion.
We are moving and I got a bento box for my husband's lunches! I'm going to try your recipes :D Thanks for the inspiration!
Hi Imamu, I know its hard to make video weekly, while being a mom and wife but we really appreciate and really love your work, especially me.
You vid is one of the video I wont skip every week, I really love your cooking!! and it's tasty as well because I've tried the easy ones lol😂
keep going, I love yoou!~
You have amazed me once again with your cooking ✨😵
@Not RickRoll 👇 j thank you?
something about your channel radiates comfort and warmth. i wish i had a childhood like this. your daughter is lucky, she gets to grow up in a home where her parents are smiling and laughing. i have a feeling she's going to do great things :) keep up the good work imamu!
your videos make my day, imamu! theyre my favourite thing to watch ever, and every time you upload I drop everything and watch IMMEDIATELY. You cook such lovely foods for your family, and it makes me very happy to see how happy you all are. i can only hope i'll be able to live the imamu life one day.
japanese food always looks so healthy even when it's fried :)))
Home cooked maybe, seen that commercial can be not healthy duo to preservatives and salt.
I’ve been using your videos as bedtime stories, heehee. Thank you for making them! 🥰
When I'm having an episode (anger issues), I just watch these videos and it calms me down... So thank you Imamu 🥺
The idea of the salmon mixed fried rice is yummy. I'm going to make that for my meal prep sometime this month
You have to try salmon fried rice with pineapple in it! It’s more like a Thai inspired dish at that point but it’s delicious. The sweetness and tartness from the pineapple balances the fatty and umami flavours of the salmon. 10/10 would recommend.
Just one cookbook has a great recipe! 😋
This video is calming ❤️❤️❤️ thank you ❤️❤️❤️ I also love the little jokes, you made my day 🌈
Your videos bring this calmness I can't describe. I'd have a hard day but you always make it a little better.
I love watching your bento boxes. Love your funny comments as well that displays throughout the video. By the way, I like to see your face and how your husband eats that packed bento box.
Thank you, your videos are so wholesome and really put my anxiety at ease. I like to watch before bed to put my mind at ease and have sweet dreams of delicious foods. ❤️
I saw packaged miso soup the the store the other day and bought some because your channel made me curious what it was like -- I'm sure it's not nearly as good as homemade miso soup, but I really enjoyed it!!
Thank you for your videos, I love watching them!! Have a wonderful day/night!!!
homemade miso soup is super easy to make!!! you just need to buy miso paste (there are different types; light, dark, etc. depending on how strong the flavor is). for the broth, a plop of seaweed (the thick type you have to rehydrate with water) into the water is enough!! clam broth is also typically used. or just follow imamu’s recipes hehe
@@skoh34 If you need the name to search for, the seaweed type is kelp (kombu/konbu)!
@@skoh34 ooh okay thank you so much!!
@@dojiz7242 thank you!! :D
@@meghorse2677 I don't know where you are in the world, but if you have acces to natural premade dashi pockets, it's a really game changer for the taste of miso soup. you first boil the dashi and the kombu and then stop the heat and add miso paste. Variations are infinite with veggies, tofu, seeweed, herbs. My favorite is with a tbsp of tahini and a tbsp of soy sauce and soy sprout with green oinions.
Thank you so much for these videos, Imamu-san! I can imagine it's a lot of effort to have to film and edit all week (on top of being a mummy and wife), so thank you for your hard work! Your videos always make me so happy and calm, they are the best ❤
I love how her husband helps her with the cooking and o my goodness the daughter she is so adorable 😻
I have learn some Japanese food in her channel and it's great cause I can have my friend ( his from japan) and he loves the food thank you so much
Just came across one of your videos today and couldnt stop watching them lol very addictive!
