My mom used to bring me to a hairdresser, it was the most awful experience I had, everytime i went there I went home crying because I asked for a tiny cut and I found my hair bob like. Thanks God when I was a little bit older (around 14/15) I decided to stand up for myself and REFUSED to see that hairdresser again and chose one myself. Consider I was super afraid when I saw the scissors (I guess the term is phobia? please forgive my English, I do my best to write it with less mistakes as possible) it took me almost 10 years to get over it with my new hairdresser, she is literally the best!
Even though I shaved my head bald by my own decision and kept it for 4 years I regret it now, it's been a year and a couple of days since my last head shave, it's a long journey
exactly. blonds have thicker indivisual hair, but their hair is waaayyy less dense than that of brunettes (specially asians and, as you said, native americans)
I lost all of my hair during chemotherapy in 2015. I asked my doctor for prenatal vitamins, and my new hair is so much better. I haven't put any harsh chemicals on it, nor heat. I have naturally curly hair that was always fragile, I think the vitamins made a huge difference. I'm over 40, and don't even color my hair- don't need to.
Actually as someone who wore a ponytail for years i can honestly say it can be damaging if you wear the darn thing in the same place every day. That spot tends to break or become brittle even if you don't tighten it super tight. Food for thought.
Nah I got my hair up everyday at home, all the time. It's just really loosen.. but still keeps my hair out of my face. Don't do them tight and u'r fine.
Same for headband ... Used to wear one everyday at school ( ~12 yo ), now i'm 17 and my hair are still all brittle and break easily on top of my head >< it's the worst
I constantly wear my hair up, it is literally never down unless I'm asleep. and I just don't tie it too tight and use a scrunchie (which feel easier on my hair than regular hair ties.) I think I have some split ends but nothing too crazy. maybe it depends on the hair? just don't tie it too tight? idk
As an African American I'm going to take these 11 things with a grain of salt because none of what is mentioned can assist that comes with the natural tight curl pattern of our hair before we straighten it. But some of it was interesting
Carla Moore take it with a grain of salt? Taking it with a grain of salt would indicate it doesn't apply to you/isnt true. While not directed specifically at African American's, and being basically excludatory when talking about blondes and redheads, most if not all of these are universal. All human hair grows from the root, no human will "catch" dandruff, no hair product can make cell division speed up so that hair grows faster....all these apply to you regardless of pigmentation. As far as "assist" with the natural tight curl, that wasn't the subject of this video
Kristin Deandre Kristin Deandre I completely understand the difference. I know that if you try to treat Caucasian hair like you would African American hair you'll cause "cradle cap" among other things and treating African-American hair like you would Caucasian hair can cause it to break and fall out. But my point is the video is about common myths related to hair and hair growth. Telegen applies to all people. Hair growing from the roots and not being affected by products or haircuts is true for everyone. Number of hair follicles is genetic in all races. I could go on but hopefully you get what I was saying... The actual myths apply to you, even if the advice like that about how to use shampoo and conditioner doesn't.
Genetics really do play a role on how fast your hair grows. My hair is SUPER long and SUPER thick and I wash it and condition it, I don’t use hair dryers or straighten it or anything but in two years my hair has grown from shoulder length to down past my hips, so genetics play a role on how healthy your hair is and how fast it grows
i am a hairstylist and I agree with the majority of this but not all. keratin treatments can infact help damaged and distressed hair it will however distroy someones healthy protine rich hair because it will harden and break off from over keratinization. pony tails dont make hair fall out but do cause breakage especially if you consistently wear it in the same spot. have you ever notice your hair growth to platue at the shoulders or chin and it seems to never grow past that point? most usually its because your not trimming the split ends often enough. your hair is actually growing but the split ends are growing up the hair shaft and breaking off giving it the appearance that it isnt growing, so make sure to get regular trims. there was a few other things i cant remeber unless i go threw the video again, but in general this video was pretty accurate.
Jessica Carter Just a question Since you're a dog, do you have any hair loss? I'd like to know. I'm a fellow cartoon cat so I needed to know. Im moving in with mg dog friend, Brooks and he has a ton of jai.
@Cheryl Kinney it's not common sense because you have to have certain knowledge about hair to understand it, which is not something all people inherently have.
Question 5. True, when you cut your hair, you have to trim at least half an inch off for full trim, if you don’t, your split ends will become larger and then bottom and low center will become brittle and your bottom hairs will snap off!! My mom and neighbor and aunt are all hair dressers so I know my stuff 🤗
Thats because your hair can only grow to a certain length before it falls out, and that length is determined by genetics! You can get extensions however, which is what most people with super long hair are wearing actually, if you get them put in professionally, they can look very natural! I knew a girl thats on the road to recovery from Anorexia that had suuuuper thin hair, but wore extensions every day. We were in hair school together, and I didn't even know she wore extensions until she took them out in front of me! (clip ins) Btw, taking pills won't help the length of your hair, they can help with how strong or healthy it is, but not length. And even then, taking more than one dose won't help as well since there is only a certain amount your body can process at a time.
phoebewry your hair has a predetermined length Unfortantly.. Blame genetics. But ik a few ppl who changed it by simply taking AMAZING care of their hair.. Many have hair past their knees now.. None of us have hair extensions its all our natural hair.. Look up Pentecostal hair dos and donts.
Use castrol oil a few times a week. I rub it on my scalp before bed and use a hair cap, satin or silk. Wash in the morning. It helps support the hair root therefore hair growth is stronger. I have baby fine hair, (thank you mom) and this is the only thing that helps. Good luck
A friend of mine also thought she could never get her hair longer than shoulder length. But eventually she did and it grew really long actually. After a couple of years she decided to go for a pixie cut though because the long hair took to much maintenance. She is Chinese but unlike most Chinese her hair is rope like. Extremely thick and dense. And if she wouldn't style it daily she would look like a stray as she would describe it herself. So she decided that eventually she was happy to know that she can have long hair, but she likes short hair better.
Things I’ve learned from experience: Too much Biotin will cause an itchy scalp and bumps; don’t take over 5,000 mgs a day. Wellbutrin causes hair loss, and I can say that because I was on it twice, and it happened each time. Within a month of stopping it, so did the hair loss. Losing hair is also a sign of an under-active thyroid.
Mia S. Seriously? Wellbutrin causes hair loss? I used to have really heavy thick hair. Was put on that years ago and after cancer treatment, yada yada to today, my hair is thin. I need to talk to my Dr. Thanks so much.
I was shocked about the Keratin Treatment contains Formaldehyde!!! A salon I used to visit regularly suggested this treatment and I didn’t do it because of the price and now that I know it is in fact damaging I’m glad I didn’t get it done. Thanks for sharing this video.
Who wrote the content of this video? And even worst who is reading it? If you’re gonna make an informative video please get your facts straight, check your grammar and your spelling. English is my second language so who knows what else is said wrong or misspelled 🙄
Correct!! in the 60’s this chemical was given to pregnant women to stop morning sickness resulting in a lot of defects like limbs missing etc. It’s not used now due to the side effects.
I always cut my hair in summer and it grows relatively normal/fast (I never measured how much), but a few years ago I used a product to stop my hair from falling out and it had as a side effect increased hair growth. I am pretty sure I wasn't imagining that my hair grew twice as fast...
My hair grows abnormally slow, so I’ve been trying to grow it out from a very young age. My mom told me the myth about how cutting your hair makes it grow faster, and I realized that my mom didn’t say that because she was lying, but because she legitimately thought that.
Formaldehyde is definitely NOT used in autopsies. It is used in embalming and preservation for dissection. Also, hair ties damage your hair because they cause friction. The friction in turn cause the hair shaft to 'swell' and make it susceptible to breakage.
Eating the right vitamins and putting proper nutrition on the hair scalp DOES make it grow faster. It makes sure the hair has what it needs to grow thicker and faster. You just need the right stuff. I grew my hair an inch in like 3 weeks when it took me like 3 months for half an inch before ... rice water especially is really good for speeding hair growth and thin places that had no hair before on my edges have even started to grow back and are quite long for the short amount of time I've done it. If you hair is at max growth speed and has 100% of everything it needs already then it probably wouldn't speed up growth. But if your hair lacks any of these things then it will definitely grow faster. Don't believe everything you hear on the internet folks
That 100% is what's genetically set. You can only make the speed of the growth slower by doing the wrong stuff in your hair treatment and vitamin intake. So when you want to speed it up you can only go as far as 100%, not 110% or 120%. And for everyone that 100% is different. For you it might be an inch in 3 weeks. For others it might be less depending on everyone's own genetically set 100%.
just loved this video! every single fact is true. even some hairdressers tried to convince me in the opposite -- cut your hair once a month, don't blowdry, do a keratin treatment on a bleached hair, etc.
75vasso My hairdresser has me cutting my hair monthly, but not to increase the length, but take off any split ends. I dye my hair a lot & with ever changing colours (get bored easy). She also said wash your scalp, but condition the last hand full length of hair. If I am not air drying hair to put a heat protector on it.
Trimming your hair with specifically designed trimming shears will make your hair grow longer because split ends will cause hair loss. Neat ends are healthier, look better and prevent breakage! Just remember not to ever use your hair shears for day to day tasks. My hairdresser shared this tip with me and it worked! So if yr hair just "doesn't grow" try this. Your hair grows about a half an inch a month (mine grows faster because it is very thick.). Just cut off about half of this new growth every other month and you'll see a difference.
leslie landberg I have done that and my hair wasn’t growing. I have stopped trimming now for 1 and half year and I have very long healthy hair. (With general hair care, oil masks and keeping my hair tidy at night)
I was loosing handfuls of hair. I started using saunas and steam showers boosted the blood flow to my scalp and used mineral oil on it and within 2 months i had more growth than I’ve ever had in my life. If you have fungal issues use dry heat on your roots
Hear protectors don't 100% protect your hair and still to some extent effect the elasticity. You can still damage the hair if the dryer is too hair or pointed at your scalp too much or if you just do it too much. This I got from a hair dresser and tbh I did find out the hard way too. As for the air drying. You can rub or pat your hair downward gently if you have a microfibre towel. It actually is soft enough it won't cause damage or frizz if you do it right .
With the conditioner thing, while yes you only really need it on the ends, I always tell my clients that if you have a dry scalp (skin flakes, not dandruff) to go ahead and condition your scalp as well, also keep it moisturized in the winter months since that's usually when our skin tends to be the driest. A healthy scalp will help insure the health of your hair as a whole. Also make sure you know the difference between dandruff and dry scalp. Dandruff will be scaly and waxy while dry scalp will have skin flakes or the white powder on peoples shoulders they always show in dandruff shampoo commercials.
Cutting your hair every 8 weeks has made my hair super fast. I’m talking about Dora ear length hair to hair to my waist. I also strongly suggest taking biotin and B12 before you go to bed. Your hair grows while you sleep :)
When I was born I had extremely curly black hair. It all fell out at 4 months old and blond waves came in. I had natural blond hair for 12 years of my life and now my hair is brown. Idk... it's weird
4:37 In India, Mundan Sanskar (ceremony) is one of the 16 sacred Sanskars in the Hinduism, is done to shave a child’s head for the very first time. I've witnessed hair thickening of my baby nieces and nephews. IT'S CERTAINLY NOT A MYTH. Scientifically, the hair follicles get stimulated and babies have better blood circulation than adults. However, if adults shave their head inorder to thicken them the possibility varies due to some factors: physical (health) , dietary(food consumption), biological (hereditary) etc. Blood circulation to the scalp is as essential as dietary requirements. You can increase it by physical activities such as Yoga, head stand/ hand stand. Lazy tip for healthy hair: sleep on your bed or sofa with your head hanging on the edge (for 5 mins daily) and massage your scalp with lukewarm organic coconut oil. It's such a fcking task but thank me later xd If you suffer from major hair loss pattern or balding please get your health diagnosed. Honest opinion. Take care of yourself, beauties:)x
Areisia Roblox it’s not bad for your hair it’s just not good to use a lot because if you do use it a lot it removes a lot of your natural oils from your scalp and can make your scalp dry
So they made this video saying no products and tricks make your hair grow faster, but the next recommended video by this channel is 10 simple hair care tricks you should definitely follow, and shows a picture of hair growing longer than .5 of an inch in a month. Little contradictory I think.
I don't envy red heads nor "NEVER" wished to be one. Eghh. No offense everyone, but I don't even like the color red. I'm "VERY HAPPY" with my natural brunette hair. I LOVE it. 💞😊❤😊❤
Jessica Carter She has the right to comment. I also agree with her. I don't envy red heads and I don't hate the color red I just wouldn't want to be one. I just like my hair color better. I have blonde hair that is straight, long, and thick.
I'm a brunette myself and I do envy natural red heads (even though I think it looks orange), in my opinion it's the most beautiful and courageous hair out there, it beats any hair color any day, not even dyed hair can match that. :)
I am a natural redhead, now its more brown red mix but, its a rare color for hair. Even if you don't like the color red, you a lucky duck, man. Most people have brown hair. I'm pretty sure only 0.5% people are born natural red. :) just some info :) I'm not trying to convince you to like it, you have your opinion. If you don't like red, don't like red. Stick to the brunette.
Something to promote hair growth is massaging your scalp. Using your fingers or a scalp massager promotes blood flow to your scalp which will help it grow faster. Hair can also grow 1/2 an inch to 1 inch per month. Another thing to mention is that trimming your hair regularly wont help grow hair, but it will help remove dead ends and split ends, which will help maintain the length of your hair. This is all information i have learned in cosmetology school so enjoy 😊
yeah, you slowly have to work down your washing schedule from every day, to every other day, I've gotten to where I can go almost 2 weeks before my hair gets noticably oily.
The dandruff myth surprised me the most For the longest time I have always thought that dandruff is contagious. I sometimes freak out when I see small flakes coming out from my hair cause I would always think they were dandruff and that I had gotten it from someone. Now I can breathe easy😌
all you people want really thick hair but I have really thick hair and HATE IT it's so difficult to take care of and the shorter your thick hair is the more you'll feel like the abominable snowman if you have thick hair and it's IMPOSSIBLE to grow your hair long with thick hair it takes about 85 years for your hair to go from shoulder length to hip length and I'm not kidding when I say it takes 85 years I'm currently 13 turning 14 in a few months and NEVER cut my hair short in my life and after 13 years of my life my hair is FINALLY below my shoulders (I have extremely thick hair and extremely curly hair and it's SOOOOO hard to take care of) edit: I'm a natural blonde people who are natural blondes have the thickest hair compared to any natural hair color search it up my hair is so thick it looks like a wig
Don't stress. I have thin, fine hair, but lots & lots of it, as I've aged & gone through life's changes it has thinned out. Summers are so much cooler & I can plait my hair, yet when I was 13 I had no hope, because like you it was hard/slow growing. My elder sister had very thin hair & not much of it, she was envious of my hair. Humans rarely seem to be happy with what they have.
Mariya Soychuk I never meant to say thin hair grows slow or fast it's solely based on genetics but with thick hair it gives the appearance of it being super short but if you take a couple layers out ( which you can't in real life without shaving parts of their head) ) you can see their hair might be much longer than their hair that's thick
Cheese Lover Girl. I re read all that was written in your feed. I think you have hair like my friend Addie. If you pulled her curly hair to its fullest it is long, but because it is so very curly it looks short & has to grow through some awful looking stages before it was long enough for the weight to slightly unbend the tight curls. As a now grown woman she keeps it short. I now totally understand your dilemma.
Cheese Lover Girl My hair is also very thick and curly, but grows quickly. It takes about 4 years to go from chin length to waist length for me. When I was a teen it took forever for my hair to grow too. While pregnant with my first child, because of hormones, my hair fell out. I thought I was going bald. It came in after the baby, but not as thick as before. That is when mine started growing faster. Just hang in there, it will grow!! I'm 52 now and have waist length hair. Just know it will give you headaches because of the weight. I keep mine in a braid or down most of the time. I can only wear a pony tail or updo for about 4 hours before my head hurts. There are pros and cons of long thick curly hair. Good Luck!!
Being a licensed cosmetologist made this video interesting. While it is true that no topical product can make your hair grow faster, each hair follicle is supplied with nourishment from the bloodstream that gives it the ability to generate new cells. That’s why people with eating disorders or serious illnesses lose hair. So I’ve noticed that hair tends to grow better with a diet full of protein (because the hair strand itself is made of 97% protein). But all in all, great video !
So many hair videos tell pure lies. Like one video tried to say the using a candle over your split ends will make your hair healthier. I actually really liked this video
with Keratin straightening products you need to know, what brand, what is the ingredients and if they are lasting very long, if the product last more then 3-4 months that definitely not good for you, either contains nasty silicones or more worst parabens. Keratin straightening products (if used correctly) are life saver for some women. Some hair really has lots of frizz and keratin products makes the hair easier to manage. So before saying its nasty, you have to see the positives and negatives. (radiation therapy is nasty but kills cancer cells too.)
I did a keratin straightening treatment- GK, Global Keratin (6 months), and I will never and have never regretted it, best decision ever! As long as you get it done right and by the right person, it will not negatively affect your hair unless you are a curly girl; it may cause curl pattern loss. I naturally have long, thick, and slightly wavy hair.
Bright side must've been watching my youtube activity. They got ALL these tips from Natural hair gurus (black girls) on youtube beacuse thats EXACTLY who i watch for hair tips LOL black womens natural/afro textured hair be THICC!! it's so pretty
Jasmine Arora you are fine! Probably in better condition before... This lady doesn't know what she is talking about with that! That made me mad because the keratin straightening treatment is made of keratin, no formaldehyde is in that...that was from years ago. And our hair is made up of keratin so you are infusing the keratin in your hair its not damaging it..
I grew my hair to my bum by.... Not cutting my hair Head massages Sulphate free shampoo Clear skin face gel on my scalp New Sprout hair growth cream That's it!!! I got about 1 inch or a little more each month when before this I was having only 1cm or so. I stopped dying my hair once I saw my regrowth coming in faster and that stopped alot of breakage.
I am somewhat tall person around five foot seven and a half inches and I have long hair, it was all the way down to my bum so I get it cut all the way up to a little bit past my shoulders, almost within the year it was almost all the way back down to what the original links was. my hair must grow really fast.
I do not use hair treatments or hair products other than normal shampoo and conditioner, I have never dyed my hair in my life. I don't use flat irons or hair curlers either.
Chelsea Brockmeier you have good genes. Be happy with that. Growing up we all wanted Mum's genes for hair......dark, thick, strong & wavy. Not one of her 4 children did. 2 of us got her healthy genes & dark hair. All 4 got straight hair. She had very strong & long nails. Would you believe none of her children inherited these, but one grandson has. He can use his nails to unscrew things. Such is life.
My sister has that colour & calls it mousey brown. Like you she doesn't like the colour, however, she forgets she has a beautiful face, highly intelligent, & is adventurous. Don't wish your life away. Strong nails have their negative side......Mum had to use wire cutters to cut her toe nails, they were that thick normal scissors didn't work.
Enjoyed this as a redhead :) But the last one's not the whole truth - whilst male hair itself isn't different to female, men tend to have way higher levels of testosterone. The hormone promotes a much more oily scalp and skin leading to faster, healthier hair growth - hence men's longer eyelashes as well, but also the more severe teenage acne.
I can only disagree with the part that you can't speed the growing process. I've seen people take biotin and there hair in only a month Grew like 2 inches. Way faster then before. And got healthier. And its true because it worked for me.
It probably means that those people had lack of biotin in their bodies and that made the hair growth process slow down. And balancing this with taking biotin would make the hair reach their maximum growth pontential (which may be also a genetic thing). That's my guess
k8core , FULL DISCLAIMER!! NOT A COSMETOLOGIST!! But, I have done personal research on human hair, and what k8core stared is what most likely happened in those cases. Everyone hair growth cycle is different, same with textures, and thickness. I have five sisters, and not ONE of us have the same exact hair type. Color included. There is nothing one can do to make ones hair grow faster. It’s like a thirteenth year old wearing weights in their ankles, or attempting to sleep upside down to make themselves taller. It is not going to happen. But, I do agree with you, there are things one can do(even without knowing) to slow down ones hair growth.
Homemade masks do make my hair grow faster and other homemade products. It is growing 0.9 to 1.2 inch a month. Yesterday I measured my hair growth on a braid (it's in braids right now). In three weeks it has grown 0.71 inches. The only thing I fully will agree with is that cutting your ends is not always necessary. If you care properly for your ends, than you hardly have to cut it at all.
Dandruff is actually a fungal infection on the scalp which can be triggered by a hormonal imbalance that lowers your immune system so it isn’t contagious but you are likely to develop it if you use someone’s comb(who has dandruff) and you are at risk of getting it
Actually dandruff is caused by overgrowth of a fungus we all have naturally on the scalp called malassezia. It isn't contaigous cause we all already have this fungus on our scalp, but the excessive growth of this fungus can happen to anyone. As long as you shampoo your scalp and rinse it out thoroughly, it won't be a huge problem. Also, Keratin is the protein your hair is made of, so treatments with keratin are good, but in moderation. Too much keratin can actually dry your hair out and make it more brittle. If you have been using keratin products and it seems to do nothing, try a powerful hydrating treatment to add some moisture back. (Take it from a pro hairstylist 👌)
Roman Reigns Is #1!!!! it's hard to believe wen people are right or not because people have so many different believes in have been wanting to try biotin it's good how it works for you
It does help with strengthening your hair and nails, but just the portions that are growing. I'm a hairstylist and I take biotin and started with collagen as well! However I just have the worlds most fragile nails, and supplements help A LOT! That being said, going over the dosage of those biotin gummies isn't going to help at all, it just means you're gonna have to buy them more often. It's like when you eat a ton of Vitamin C, your body just flushes out the excess.
Uhhhhh cutting your hair does help it grow. When you have split ends and you don’t cut them , thy will spread up causing your hair not to be able to grow.
This actually isn't totally true. When the hair splits or becomes very dry at the ends it will typically break off. So it's not that your hair isn't growing, it's just that over time the hair is breaking off, not allowing you to see that its growing
Not mentioned, the one that wearing a cap makes you go bald. Some people just insist on getting cause and effect backwards. I'm bald for the same reason all my maternal uncles were bald, and that's why I wear a cap.
I don't know about others but I got my then Samoan-like hair chemically straightened and it was THE BEST decision that SAVED me. Once it grew out, my hair type appeared better; this maybe due to my ending puberty and my system leveling out by that time.

Natural black curly hair is very different from straight white hair. We have different routines for our hair, that's all she's saying.
What about the girls in China who have really long hair and never got it cut at a salon and never have hair problems using rice water?
Julianna Lee Their hair is probably really strong because of the rice water they they use, therefore their hair might not break.
I feel hair loss
lakshmi paakashaale yeah cuz you are 70

Just a question
Since you're a dog, do you have any hair loss? I'd like to know. I'm a fellow cartoon cat so I needed to know. Im moving in with mg dog friend, Brooks and he has a ton of jai.

FORMAL DEHYDE ... I can't hahaha
TheBexi 😂😂😂
TheBexi and it's used after autopsies😂 the Mortician does the preservation lol
TheBexi Yassssss. Video lost all credibility for me after that. Lol
I know. I can't either.
that’s what got me too! 😂😂😂
I already knew that shampoo was for the scalp and conditioner for vice versa
@Cheryl Kinney it's not common sense because you have to have certain knowledge about hair to understand it, which is not something all people inherently have.
Question 5. True, when you cut your hair, you have to trim at least half an inch off for full trim, if you don’t, your split ends will become larger and then bottom and low center will become brittle and your bottom hairs will snap off!! My mom and neighbor and aunt are all hair dressers so I know my stuff 🤗
Syd and laila Germanberg what do you think about Keratin Treatment? Does it damage my hair ?
My hair looks like its not growing at all.Its been months an my hair still looks the same:(
Thats because your hair can only grow to a certain length before it falls out, and that length is determined by genetics! (clip ins)
Btw, taking pills won't help the length of your hair, they can help with how strong or healthy it is, but not length.
Look up Pentecostal hair dos and donts.
phoebe•wry Lack of nutrition.

A salon I used to visit regularly suggested this treatment and I didn’t do it because of the price and now that I know it is in fact damaging I’m glad I didn’t get it done. Thanks for sharing this video.

Formaldehyde is NOT pronounced formal-DE-hide! LOL! It's for-MAL-de-hide, as in embalming fluid etc.
Catherine Adams „It‘s LeviOsa, not Leviosaaaa!“
Correct!! in the 60’s this chemical was given to pregnant women to stop morning sickness resulting in a lot of defects like limbs missing etc.

You are right. I know things do work. Certain shampoos and masks.
Vitamins have side effects and do not help you. They harm you. Get your vitamins from fruit and veggies, raisins and unsalted raw nuts.
just loved this video! every single fact is true. even some hairdressers tried to convince me in the opposite -- cut your hair once a month, don't blowdry, do a keratin treatment on a bleached hair, etc.
I miss my old hair.

If you have fungal issues use dry heat on your roots
hair growth is in your diet.
Elie Sainfils what do you recommend?
@@meliafaye8954 a protein diet, lots of water and also healthy fats like salmon, coconut oil, olive oil. It is important what you eat
Nope. It's genetic. A healthy diet and lifestyle will give you your best hair possible, but length, color, curl, etc, are genetic.
DOES IT WORTH IT
Its very awesome
What should we say ? "It worth it" ?
(I'm learning english)
It should be "Is it worth it?"
Thank you !
It doesn’t. ........lol
Congratulations for getting 5 million subscribers 👏👏👏
Cutting your hair every 8 weeks has made my hair super fast. I’m talking about Dora ear length hair to hair to my waist. I also strongly suggest taking biotin and B12 before you go to bed. Your hair grows while you sleep :)

Jessica Froelich a lot of the info was wrong especially about dandruff as it is actually a fungal infection that causes dandruff

It's such a fcking task but thank me later xd
If you suffer from major hair loss pattern or balding please get your health diagnosed.

If shampoo is so "bad" for your hair then why sell and use it?
To clean your hair
Areisia Roblox it’s not bad for your hair it’s just not good to use a lot because if you do use it a lot it removes a lot of your natural oils from your scalp and can make your scalp dry
I knew that putting my hair in a bun or ponytail wasn't gonna make me have hair loss. I will admit I was worried about it though 💖💖
I LOVE it. 💞😊❤😊❤
Josie Ojeda no one told you to become one and no one cares if you do why on earth did you comment this?
No one asked you.
Washing hair daily makes it oilier.
Fiona BlueStar lol
yeah, you slowly have to work down your washing schedule from every day, to every other day, I've gotten to where I can go almost 2 weeks before my hair gets noticably oily.
Reilly Trammell yeah same here. Plus older you get easier to do. Teens might not be able to cause all the hormones and stuff
The dandruff myth surprised me the most

“Dark hair always looks thicker”
BWAHAHA I WISHHHH
Glad to hear wearing bands to keep hair up in the summer won't harm our hair and make it fall out.
all you people want really thick hair but I have really thick hair and HATE IT it's so difficult to take care of and the shorter your thick hair is the more you'll feel like the abominable snowman if you have thick hair and it's IMPOSSIBLE to grow your hair long with thick hair it takes about 85 years for your hair to go from shoulder length to hip length and I'm not kidding when I say it takes 85 years I'm currently 13 turning 14 in a few months and NEVER cut my hair short in my life and after 13 years of my life my hair is FINALLY below my shoulders (I have extremely thick hair and extremely curly hair and it's SOOOOO hard to take care of)
edit: I'm a natural blonde people who are natural blondes have the thickest hair compared to any natural hair color search it up my hair is so thick it looks like a wig
Cheese Lover Girl it doesn’t take 85 years. I’m 13 and cut my hair so many times and it’s almost to my hips. My hair is thin and grows slow.

I like how they explained the concept of a "myth" at the beginning
with Keratin straightening products you need to know, what brand, what is the ingredients and if they are lasting very long, if the product last more then 3-4 months that definitely not good for you, either contains nasty silicones or more worst parabens. Keratin straightening products (if used correctly) are life saver for some women. Some hair really has lots of frizz and keratin products makes the hair easier to manage. So before saying its nasty, you have to see the positives and negatives. (radiation therapy is nasty but kills cancer cells too.)
I have really long hair, and I always leave in some conditioner. My hair when dry ends up soft and wavy.
Plz share some tips to grow hair fast in just 2.5 months 😰
My sis wedding is near

Thanks. I'll keep these in mind.
I've done keratin straighting already .. how can i improve my hair now? Can you please make a video on it.
Jasmine Arora I'm a cosmetologist, and I can tell you that keratin treatments ARE good for hair
mam you means keratin straighting is good for hair growth?
Jasmine Arora you are fine! Probably in better condition before... This lady doesn't know what she is talking about with that! That made me mad because the keratin straightening treatment is made of keratin, no formaldehyde is in that...that was from years ago. And our hair is made up of keratin so you are infusing the keratin in your hair its not damaging it..
I grew my hair to my bum by....
Not cutting my hair
Head massages
Sulphate free shampoo
Clear skin face gel on my scalp
New Sprout hair growth cream
That's it!!!
I wish my nails were like that, I like the idea of natural long nails but mine are so thin lol, I have my father's hair light dirty blonde.
It's not that I don't like it but my mom's hair is a pretty shad of mousy Brown that I won't have mined being born with. 😀
Is putting to much conditioner bad? It's just I have very dry hair so I feel the need to use a lot of it?
Others:Don’t do this
Me:Does it
Enjoyed this as a redhead :) But the last one's not the whole truth - whilst male hair itself isn't different to female, men tend to have way higher levels of testosterone. The hormone promotes a much more oily scalp and skin leading to faster, healthier hair growth - hence men's longer eyelashes as well, but also the more severe teenage acne.
And a lot of this information is false.
What's the truth, then? (Legitimate question.)
katherine snyder how can you say that?
Thanks for the tips
Homemade masks do make my hair grow faster and other homemade products. It is growing 0.9 to 1.2 inch a month. Yesterday I measured my hair growth on a braid (it's in braids right now). In three weeks it has grown 0.71 inches.
The only thing I fully will agree with is that cutting your ends is not always necessary. If you care properly for your ends, than you hardly have to cut it at all.
Dandruff is actually a fungal infection on the scalp which can be triggered by a hormonal imbalance that lowers your immune system so it isn’t contagious but you are likely to develop it if you use someone’s comb(who has dandruff) and you are at risk of getting it
The hair trimming one always made me lol. It just makes no sense at all!!
WhT do u mean?
10 is wrong i have been on these hair skin and nails gummies they have worked so much i went to hair stylist for recommendation.
Same
You were probably deficient
Yes, my hair and nails grow much faster with Biotin and Hair Skin and Nail Vitamins, but not any thicker or stronger.
So, does it worth it?
3:00 "this procedure will moisture the ends" PLEASE GO BACK TO ENGLISH CLASS
Please suggest some treatments for fungal infection of scalp... as i am affected from it.
Uhhhhh cutting your hair does help it grow. When you have split ends and you don’t cut them , thy will spread up causing your hair not to be able to grow.
Fail.
Who else is a teen trying to see if their parents are right about hair....

You can get tentionalopia which is when the hair line moves back which is caused if you tie your hair often and you tie it very tightly.
My grandma said my hair is one in a million 😍

I Have Long Hair, and I Really love it
I don't know about others but I got my then Samoan-like hair chemically straightened and it was THE BEST decision that SAVED me. Once it grew out, my hair type appeared better; this maybe due to my ending puberty and my system leveling out by that time.
