Installing first mag pouch with tegris straps...in French accent "two hours later"
I got this rig, very light, one hitch I found USGI AR mags and my P320 mags can catch the rivets in the mag pouches when inserting if you get the angle wrong, a little wiggle of the mag fixes that.
Great video!! FYI, they offer a longer (3") Tegris strap that will work with traditional MOLLE / plate carriers. But yes, for a little extra weight, MALICE will be much less pain... 😆 Also, the two tiny slots near the HRT logo (below the two eyelets) are for micro carabiners. Try running your Nite Ize S-Biner through them, they will sit flush and clean!!

Your tegris main belt needs to be flipped the arch is supposed to go down (dip) in back.
Have you any experience with the defense mechanisms mech belt? I pulled the trigger on it last week (6week build time) and now I’m quite intrigued by this belt . The pouches definitely look like they could push esstac for the top spot .
I have not used it myself but I have seen them before. This belt (ARC) will be more lightweight.
And yes, I was thoroughly impressed with the magazine pouches
Hey so I know this reply is 7 months later. But the HRT ARC is much better than the DEF MECH belt. The DEF MECH belt is still awesome don’t get me wrong.
But since I’ve bought the entire HRT suite, and it being a true Gen 2 belt, there is nothing better than it (the HRT ARC is better than the AXL Eclipse also).
The DEF MECH has the interior Tegris and exterior sewn fabric, but it does NOT use actual MOLLE. It uses a strange Velcro loop 1.75” thing. So many MOLLE straps do not work. Basically fixed to tech locks or malice clips can work (but not as secure as true MOLLE attachment).

HRT is making a back of belt cover.
Reverse your tegris main belt it will insert easier into the mag pouch side.

Looks complicated at the cost of lightweight. I think it's not for me .
Dude. Tegris is so much stronger than traditional nylon belts. So you misspoke when you said this belt isn’t good for loading down gear. Tegris belts can hold more gear than standard nylon. Tell me you don’t know what you are talking about with out saying it.
Neve said that Tegris wasn’t a strong material in general. I said that this belt is purposely made to be a lightweight alternative to traditional belts. Would be silly to load a bunch of weight on to this light weight, two part platform and treating it as LBE gear.
