It's deeply personal for me; my sister's only child recently passed away from an accidental overdose, and this song was one that I shared with him right before his passing...whenever he felt like using he would text me & say "I listened to the song & I feel better now". His back after his vocal cords hemorragies, after seven vocal cords surgeries and a paralysis in his left vocal chord, and his back because he love his fans and he love music as well. Tom Keifer say in a short interview that music is his big passion and is What he use to express his his feelings his emotions. We love you Tom Keifer
He never really lost it; although he had a many surgeries; I believe he's still got it , in "Waiting On The Demons."

@@deanfender7965/ Tom Keifer doctor said to him that he can't sing with the same voice anymore because Tom have a paralysis in his left vocal chord cord and no surgeries can't correct that because is an neurologic problems maybe it was caused by strong virus but that can happen also when singer's abuse their voices but the Tom's doctors also said to him that the only way for him to sing again is retraining his voice again so in that way Tom Keifer can bring back his paralyze nerve in his left vocal chord cord so he can sing, no exactly with the same voice again but he can sing if he retraining his voice again and thanks God Tom Keifer found an Amazing vocal voice training coach and he is helping Tom with new voice tecnics to sing again specially this new voice tecnics helping Tom Keifer to sing without hurting his vocal cords again and also is helping Tom to bring back his paralyze nerve in his left vocal chord cord so Tom can sing. Tom Keifer say that he needs to retraining his voice for 2 or 3 hours every day to use his voice without problem and also said that retraining a voice to sing again can be a nightmare for every singer's out there but not for him because he love music so much and singing is the best way he have to express his emotions.

Even after time spent in rehab and working the twelve steps I still battle those demons daily. Thanks for the inspiration. Great song!!!!
