That is a fun trail. Last year we camped about 300 yds from the falls along the creek and it was great. Of course it was winter time with the lows in the upper 20's - so no bugs. Looking forward to seeing more of your trip to Idaho...

Now that we are going to be able to get the ranger raptor in the states do you think you would upgrade to one or just keep the tremor i have a 19 ranger and I’m definitely gonna upgrade to a ranger raptor
I think we're gonna wait out for the 2nd or 3rd year of the next gen. Really like the raptor but with higher end off road vehicles you give up on payload/towing so we want to see what the numbers are when the tremor is announced probably in 2025. Our 21 still has about 13k miles on it so we're in no rush!

Yes Smithsonian butte has some great dispersed spots, the view lots go first but there are some cool hidden spots deeper into the mountain
