I believe that's a miscomception. There has never been economic sanctions on Eritrea. Yes, there has been bad governance that doesn't deserve its people but no failure in the country is related to sanctions.
The only sanction in Eritrea is arm embargo, asset freeze of officials. And none of that was ever fully implemented anyways

@@melathaile1561 That's right dear Melat. I'm originally from Ethiopia & currently live in the US. I first started working for an Eritrean for two years & I met many others. They are so sweet. I learned some Tigrigna too. I try to communicate with it when I visit Eritrean restaurants, sometimes. I'll definitely visit Asmara ፀዓዳ one day. Peace & prosper to the people of Ethiopia & Eritrea.

    • @fruitsarelife7073
      @fruitsarelife7073 11 месяцев назад

@@melathaile1561 It starts with noticing that we flood your country as refugees and we flood Sudan as refugees. Even Uganda has more and more Eritrean refugees. And when your brain starts to think why people don’t want to live there, then you will research about the negative aspects of Eritrea. And you will find that the government and the government supporters don’t allow you to speak negatively about Eritrean opression. They will lock you up into inhumane prisons. Sometimes tortured, depending on what they are in the mood for. Eritrea has many prisons for that. Young people from 18 on are forced into the military. So they leave before 18 mostly. You serve the military.. forever, so good luck. You will be sent to war and if you die you will not even be mentioned again. Your supporter next door gets you locked up, so the people don’t trust anybody and are scared to talk about politics. Protest? 🤣 Your fellow Eritreans shoot you in 1 second. It’s a satanic, quiet 🤐 land that looks pretty.
And even outside of Eritrea you will see the supporters react allergic when you tell the truth about Eritrea.
If you stand for humanity, stand for us people who want rights. Not those patriots that destroyed us. Follow your heart.

BRO lol 😂. You’re a PIONEER i dont think i seen a black American traveler go to Eritrea ALONE with no one from Eritrea to accompany him. A rare find. Salute to you. The sour dough like bread you speak of is called INJERA by the way. Identify the name of it for your viewers next time so they can know. Thank you. Well done bro. Welcome to my country

Eritrea is /will be nothing without Ethiopia 🇪🇹 😅But ,what do really Eritrean people get from their independent 🤔 ⁉️
Freedom of speech? Freedom of movement? Freedom of doing what they want ? Freedom of independent just to celebrate independent days in all over the world, including in Addis? Or what ?
Most of Eritrean left or fled Eritrea 🇪🇷 like bees 🐝 as soon as they get the so-called independent.
The majority of them are living overseas as refugees and can not even go back to Eritrea and do an investment there.
Eritrea is an empty country. this is why there are no universities, colleges or public infrastructures, no constitution or election, and so on. Now Eritrean is filling up in Addis quickly than Agames. They are even buying homes and doing businesses in the country they hated and seceded from..
Again, here in Addis & in other parts of Ethiopia, Eritrean are surpassing or more Eritrean are working and Living than Agames from the north.
And what exactly did poor Tigrean people get from TPLF'S rule for more than three decades 🤔 except for four wars and miseries?.
Anyway, soon, China 🇨🇳 will take over Eritrea 🇪🇷 itself, wait, and see what will happen.
By the way, what were the names of the first Eritrean president or Prime Ministers before the colony by Italy 🇮🇹 or by British or Ethiopia 🇪🇹 🤔 meaning before current president 🤔

@@veryrelitrans3025 we got our territorial integrity but what has ethiopian gotten by engaging against eritrea both directly & indirectly for the last 80yrs and still playing the same old game is the more serious question that tests sanity .

Ignore the negative comments mostly of them not Eritreans that’s why when they heard anything thing positive about Eritrea they got mad outraged .
Yes we need a lot to change like other countries but we never ashamed to be poor because Rome never build over night.

Shut up. One thing you dictatorship supporters need to learn is to listen to your people.
If they want human rights to live peacefully inside of the country, you should NOT dismiss them. What’s wrong with you?!
That’s what is leading to distabilization and opression. If you love Eritreans, listen to Eritreans.
      Don’t be like colonialists.
