I just love your videos. They're very informative and very relaxing. Thank you for the work you put into all of the updates. They are wonderful to be able to refer back to. I purchased 4 Delphiniums at a local big box store this summer, and they had a very fragile, small root system. I think the plant was also quite fragile and all 4 did very poorly. I cut them back to small shoots to see if perhaps they will rejuvenate after developing better roots in my garden for next year. After watching your video, I think I will also start some from seed under grow lights this winter. Perhaps those will also develop some sturdy roots. Thank you again for the wonderful information. (Of course every plant looks so easy to grow when you do it!)
Sometimes store bought plants can be weak depending on how they have been kept. It may look easy - because it is. You just have to keep looking at the plants and assessing if they are ok. If they show signs of struggling then you need to work out if its Water, heat, light and food that is the problem (or disease/predators in some cases). Keep safe and thank you for your appreciation.
this is amazing. I have watched this video several times, I got so hopeful that I bought seeds. I'm going to use your method, really soon. I live in Israel and I'll let you know if I succeeded
Can seeds be Autumn sown and overwintered in a plastic greenhouse? If not, I will sow them early Spring next year. Thank you. Always enjoy your videos.
Hi Veronica. I started the seeds in early Spring and planted out early Summer. I got a few small flowers first year but it was the second year before I got full grown flowers. Keep safe.
I am planting delphiniums for the first time. I planted mine yesterday and after I planted them someone told me I needed to cold stratificate the seeds. I did not. Do you think I will still get germination from some of my seeds?
Hi, I’ve just sown some larkspur, hopefully they will germinate and overwinter 🤞🏻(I live in S.W England). Your seed packet showed an assortment of colours but your plants all seemed the same 🤔 so wondering if you did get a good selection ? Thanks for excellent video 👍🏻⭐️
I like that you follow the whole cycle including the flowering plants. Thanks. Enjoyed it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. Two years in the making. No frills, no nonsense and full of common sense.
Thank you for your kind comments. Keep safe.
It cannot be the same seed mix if all flowers just blue and package has multiple colors
Thanks a lot for the warning at the beginning 👍🍀🙏 Your videos are perfect 👍
Glad you like them!

Very professional video. Will try the delphinium seeds again. Obtaining a delphinium plant from seed is a REAL challenge! Great job.
So nice of you to comment. Good luck with your growing.
This is great. A comprehensive guide with no frills. Just what I want.

Thank you for video! Much appreciated !
My pleasure Diane! Keep safe.
Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!

Excellent informational & tutorial video. Thank you for sharing
Hi Akron. You are very welcome!
Just found your RUclips site, very useful videos, thanks. Do delphiniums keep returning after year 2?
Yes they do - mine are in their 3rd year now. Keep safe.
No cold stratification??
No. I assume the seed supplier has done this.
Looks like you used seeds which has a mix mark on the package but all your plant came out just blue. Do you know why?
Do you have them on a warming mat. If so would a heating pad work. Also I have no grow lights. Would they still grow by a bright window.
Hi Martha. I did not use a warming mat or grow lights. A bright window should be fine. Keep safe.
I loved your video. Unfortunately, I have a Mini - Pinscher. Thanks for the warning!
Thank u brother for informing that this plant n seeds r poisonous.beautiful flowers.greetings from india.
Hi Mary. You are welcome! Greetings from the UK and keep safe.

I didn’t know that the seeds were poisonous to people or pets.
Yes. Be careful.
Nice vid. What's your favourite plant to grow?
Hi Ollie. I love all plants so could not choose a favourite. Keep safe.
It’s a beautiful flower! 🙂
Hi Diane. I think so too! Keep safe.
Should i be concerned about the toxicity of the plant? While beautiful looking im concerned as i have cats and critters in the yard
No, thank you very informative
What month do you suggest to put them outside in the ground? Do they flower the same year?
Hi Veronica. I started the seeds in early Spring and planted out early Summer. I got a few small flowers first year but it was the second year before I got full grown flowers. Keep safe.

Where did your seeds come from? I have never cold stratified store bought seeds. Keep safe.
@@LearnHow2 I ordered them online from Johnny seeds.
So we can do this now?
See video (0: 31) give sowing times if in England hope this helps 👍👍
Hi Lala. It is best to start in early spring to allow a full growing season. Keep safe.
I saw you only replied to the reassuring comment and not the question... should we be afraid of our cats in the yard??
