@@DemonLordSparda A hero’s life is hardly as glamorous as the legends let you believe. It was one of my favorite themes in the Witcher books and games.
I remember screaming at the screen: Sybil! Her name was Sybil you deranged roadside Romeo! The Immovable Sword was honestly a nice touch. Made it feel like Kaylee had a hand in hurting the dragon
Nerd Percy is my favourite Percy, he's so excited to finally be able to do what he does best. Also, I love that Grog is clearly familiar enough with how his friend communicates to follow the key parts of what's actually needed from the Herd of Storms, and step in when he sees that Percy is REALLY losing them. Even though he might not follow the whole train of thought, he reads the room better. A great contrast between Intelligence and Wisdom (and how VM really are friends who know eachother well, even though they're all so different. Look. I just, I love that group of disasters all so muhuhuhuuuch.) [/waffling]
The depiction of the Matron of Ravens was INCREDIBLE!!!!! Wondering if Kelly picked up on the adapted version of the Rod of Immovability becoming Kaylie's sword before the battle, such a great way to translate that part of the campaign battle, combined with replacing Dimension Door with a Scanlan's Hand prostate check rofl.
I absolutely love every moment where Kelly just stares right down the camera at Ceni saying something/when some heavy foreshadowing happens. It's always so choice.
6:03 And on the already damaged hand! You can just hear Victor's voice on the wind; "learned from my mistakes" You think we'll get Scanlon's breaking point since we already got "what's my mother's name" from Kayle?
You all are right about her manipulating the Briarwoods in a similar way to how we see her manipulate the dragons. That is basically what happened. She weaseled her way in.
On stream, they didn't go up the butt and instead teleported into the dragon (another ability Scanlan has that got cut for a more comprehensive and thematic list of abilities).
Greater Invisibility spell. 1 minute, concentration, allows the caster to remain invisible while making attacks - so long as they maintain concentration on the spell. That's why he became visible again when Vex nailed him with a lightning arrow, he lost the con save to keep the spell up.
These dragons have already shown to be capable of casting magic, and black dragons are often ambushers, tormentors, and stalkers by nature. Totally checks out to be in his repertoire.
In all my years of enjoying the fantasy genre I never once had "Two protagonists fly up a dragon's poop chute" on my bingo card.
I think the best part is that it's a solid plan. An enemy is weakest on the inside. The only problem is that it's very unpleasant.

'deranged roadside Romeo' is not a phrase I'd considered being in my life before. And yet.. here we are.
“what’s kaylie’s mother’s name?”

Both great changes, instead of just the random immovable rod having the weapon have a little more meaning and connection for Scanlan
Of all the ways to describe the end of this episode, "The boys go on a field trip" is probably the best.
"You leave when Scanlan Shorthalt tells you to leave" such a nice nod for us critters
Especially combined with "Burt" earlier in the episode.

Actually in campaign. I believe they used teleportation to get into the dragon

Shinobi secret finger jutsu: one thousand years of dragon slaying
Another campaign 1 newbie but on the stream when vax and scanlan enacted their clever plan did anyone reference bad dragon?
Not sure about that moment, but at one point they did joke about getting a licensing deal with Bad Dragon for a Chroma Conclane line of products.
On stream, they didn't go up the butt and instead teleported into the dragon (another ability Scanlan has that got cut for a more comprehensive and thematic list of abilities).

Matron!! My queen! She's so cool)
They cut out one of Scanlans best lines from him finding out he had a daughter. Such a missed opportunity.
I just noticed Pâté de rolo
Mythcarver doesn't confer invisibility in any state. How is he doing that...

Dragons are literally magical
@@unicyclist97 There is a difference between being magic, and having magic. Not all dragons can cast spells.
@@bskec2177 who said *all* dragons can cast spells?
