- This lap guide is for all GT Sport Players who want to improve their lap times around the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

The video will show you exactly how to do a sub 6:30 gold lap at the Nordschleife Circuit Experience with the BMW M6.
I hope i can help beginners and pros to improve their times around the Nordschleife by giving some instructions about line, braking points and corner speeds.

I used the counter steering assist for this lap.
CSA doesn't make you faster in general but it helps to correct small mistakes without losing to much time and makes you more consistent. Especially on a long track like the Nordschleife this can help to improve your time.
If you don´t like driving assist, advices in the video like gears and corner speed will still work, but you have to be more careful with your pedal- and steering-inputs.

Countersteering Assistance - Strong
ABS - Default
Wheel: Fanatec CSL Elite PS4

Take note EA, completing this track with a gold medal time is how players feel a real sense of accomplishment in a game not "surprise mechanic".
Hardest part of the course is the beginning chicanes. First turn is the most important. Spinning out on patches of grass was the most soul crushing thing you can experience. Felt so great beating it under two seconds of the gold requirement.

Fastest I can do is a 7:01. Every time I try and push it more to shave time I go off track and the lap is useless, so annoying

The best Nordschleife guide I've ever seen! 👍 Can run 6:37, but I saw few new points I never knew before, so I'll try to be 3-4 seconds faster. Thanks man!

How you do that first sector in 40.6 seconds is beyond me. I have practiced and practiced but I rarely get below 42.

Thank you so much, I love the Nordschliefe and I’m fairly decent at it, but I always make mistakes, whether I get too much curb and spin, go too fast and slide, or slightly brake when I should be going fast in fear of blind corners.
This has given me the insight to really step up my game.

I did 6:50 during one night with controller. I used to play alot of this track though on gt5...it had a similar challenge with an SLS AMG 😀...Great guide and amazing time thnx for sharing! To those asking yes I think its possible to do with controller just needs alot of experience to master littlte moves on the steering and throttle

awesome lap mate! ive learnt so much from this! only managed to pull off a 6.40 with a controller, gonna practice some more and push a bit harder. Thanks for this!
I did a 6:58.600 today, with DS4 and all driving aids disabled. I crashed twice but barely made it. I did pretty much the same, except the “build up throttle early” bit, because that guarantees spin or crash. Also wheels locking under heavy braking is also a massive headache. Come to think of it, ABS, traction control and stability control are really useful if you don’t want to turn this game into a dark souls game.
Polyphony Digital messed up the braking without ABS. It´s nearly impossible to drive without it. Use ABS as i did and it will help you a lot, to control the car while braking.
I just keep making mistakes at the top of the circuit and have to restart again
completed this challenge...after many tries....rewarded with...a car which i have 3 other units of...fml

Don't have ps4 so only get to play this when visiting, so only able to use automatic transmission at moment couldn't beat my 6.51.106 watched this other day turned csa of and got a 6.48.458 that'll do at moment. Anyone know best automatic lap time lol. Brilliant video this cheers for putting this up.
Especially now that the penalty system is a joke I tend to avoid online lobbies and do time trials on my own trying to improve constantly, one of my favourites is the Nordschleife in a gr4 huracan (no extra power/less weight, but did add some downforce) and my pb at the moment is a 6.56.3x, so faster than the gold time in the gr3 bmw. In the 911 gr3 Im about where you are in laptime.

I don´t know if you already did, but if still don´t, please do Le Mans on a Toyota Gazoo..it´s been a few days I am trying to be closer to this year´s 24hrs pole time (3:14) but my best so far was 3:24!!! I don´t know where gain time...btw I am a PS4 controller user...cheers!

Great guide. The problem with this mission is that the track is too long. There are too many corners to memorize, so it needs practice. My first try is 7:13, because I can't remember what to do on some parts and brake hard or go full throttle. But I'm sure I will get there by more practice with that stupid BMW

I didnt realize how important the early apexes and building up the throttle were. No wonder my acceleration is terrible on the nordschleife

Brilliant tutorial, I've been trying to get my times down for ages! Currently at 6:42, but on a controller. Do you think it's possible to get sub 6:30 with controller?
of course I'm not expert as this guy but I don't think you can with controller
@xbarteqracing A friend of mine did a 6:50,701 with a controller and he's kinda new to this game. I think you can go pretty fast with a controller. With manual shifting even after I guess.

my fastest time is 7.00. I have trouble reaching the finish line, so far only succeeded 2 times, the rest ended up in the wall

Guys, you really need to know where to brake, watch for the cones or any braking point, always use the whole track. The only tricky part that I can't teach is "to know where to lift the throttle and play with the light brakes" these two things require your own instincts. :), practice makes perfect.

I guess u could play and pause the game and watching the next step here to win that xD I got it after 2 houres of practice, but Iam pretty sure I could do it better then yet if I had a stable sim rig and not my table and floor but also with controller it makes fun but manuell is annoying on controller for me so automatic does his job but iam always slower because u cant get the maximum of speed in the perfect gear :D but cool that u do this in english auch wen du bestimmt Schweizer oder Deutscher bist ^^

Hi, you can’t change the setup in the Circuit Experience, so it’s default.
im using controller with no TCS and no ABS, i got 6:55

Ich hab mich anhand deiner Anleitung an einem Mclaren versucht.
Mit Sixaxis Lenkung und nahezu alle elektronischen Hilfen ausgeschaltet.
Bis auf einen Dreher hats ganz gut geklappt, glaube ich. 😁

Hi, TCS habe ich grundsätzlich auf Null. CSA benutze ich je nach Fahrzeug, wenn es Sinn macht um schneller zu sein und es auf jedes Zehntel ankommt. Vom Fahrgefühl her gefällt mir alles aus bis auf ABS aber am besten.
