This is the first “hack” video that I can actually use all of the hacks, such great ideas that are applicable. Thanks Whitney! I usually pack my 5 year old sons clothes in ziplock bags for each day when we go on trips, one bag for jammies and one for clothes for the day, makes changing him easier especially on early mornings or late nights. I am going to use those lingerie bags from now on to do this, less waste!

Whitney my teacher Mom had a great hack for long car trips. She had 4 kids and all of our travel was in cars or campers.
Rather than give Finn all of his new toys you got him at dollar tree at once on the drive, put together little goody bags of the new toys-use the brown bags like for lunches-add a book, puzzles, etc and break one out every few hours to break up the boredom. Worked like a charm for us and this hack has saved me a number of long car or airplane rides myself!
When Finn gets a little older but together a 3 ring binder and buy the pouches that fit inside. My twins loved having their own binders a I let them pick out the items they wanted to bring on our road trips. Kept all the items contained in one spot.

Loved them all but especially the ice containers for under summer food! We've always used ice cubes but the solid ice is more practical and longer lasting.

Great ideas! If you have to pack dirty clothes back in a suitcase with clean clothes, I'd recommend putting the laundry bag inside a sealed plastic trashbag to keep your clean clothes smelling fresh.
Or throw in a few scented dryer sheets cut into several smaller pieces to spread out amongst the bags.
I loved the weekly schedule with the 8x10 picture frame. That's an idea I want to use.

Great ideas for summer and road trips. I always slide a fly swatter into the pocket on the passenger door. Gets rid of those annoying unwanted hitchhikers in you car and room. Also, when our kids were small, we took along wrapped prizes that were awarded for good behavior on weeklong trips. These consisted of little snacks and games when riding in the car between attractions got long.
You are going to have a great time with Finn this summer because you have planned ahead to keep him entertained. ❤

Wow Whitney! This was one fantastic idea after another! I have those same cosmetic bags and I love them too! Back in the early 90’s when my Daughter was little, we traveled in our MiniVan a lot! I was the queen of ideas to help keep my daughter happy and occupied lol Who knew I should’ve been writing it all down lol The Ice under the bowls were just wow! So simple yet so helpful!

I use those exact same zipper pouches for my console and glovebox. As a mom of a daughter, theyre great to keep a little "hair set" in - mini brush, hair ties, clips, etc. I have another with a mini car cleaning kit - eyeglass cleaner spray bottle I've refilled with Windex, a little wipe, and a little duster.
That's a wonderful idea! I'll have to do the mini car cleaning kit!

I love the ice hacks to keep food cold! I used to put a bowl in a bowl with cube ice underneath but the solid ice would last longer and be less messy ❤️👏🏾

I have several toothbrush holders & dont like to throw anything away. There always has to be something you can use it for. I've used it for jewelry on a trip . So that was a great idea. I use those tins in the Jot office section at DT for pens & pencils! They’re long & narrow. I have one for my purse and one for my car. I even use one for my make up brushes in my purse!

Like many others, I like the frozen fruit idea for summer drinks. I was thinking that a cherry one would be good too. Cherry juice with a few cherries 🍒 would be my preference. 😚

I love the idea especially with the fruit salad! I enjoy munching on fruit throughout the day in the summer months because my apartment gets very hot and I don’t have much of an appetite! But as they get some warmer and goes on, the fruit gets warm, the watermelon gets slimy and nothing has that refreshing coolness to it anymore! It is a great idea just to keep out on your counter or in your living room on the coffee table as a healthy snack while you’re watching television on a hot summer night! Woah, Whit! I made a list because I like so many of these- the ice trays to keep salad or fruit cold, watermelon stars- so festive! I never thought to use the clips for towels the way you did-genius! And the toys for Finn- the pouch & clip, and the reading light on the divider set of toys, but I’d have to say my favorite is the solar lights in the glass containers & the frozen lemon slices.
