Let's be honest. This is the most creative racing game. Granted: Forza horizon 1, the crew 1 and a few others changed things up quite a bit in recent memory, but none of them were quite as off the wall and truly creative as this one.
77' Dodge Monaco, 81' Dodge Diplomat, 85' Caprice Classic and 84' LTD Crown Victoria would be great additions in their 3 versions (taxi, police and civilian)
The fact that this game was so detailed for an open world racing game, 1st person cockpit view for every vehicle, with so many licensed cars, good handling model, pretty original story for a racing game, AND this game somehow managed to run 60 FPS on the 360 and PS3, it's a sin that this game didn't get more recognition.

Was is because it is near impossible to obtain now and no new copies are being made. Sadly when the all the remaining copies stop working this game will be completely lost in time.
they discontinued it because the copyright , the brands and the money , they would litellary go bankrupt if they continued it , but it could be made again if they removed the brands and instead of audi they had adi or something and if they had no copyright music

I never had the weird yellow effect when I played it. Edit: Just started it up again and It looks normal to me. No yellow or vignette effect Edit 2: Ok this might just be because I'm playing it on pc and not on console.

XBOX 360 days damn this was my first racing game I remember the mission where you are an ambulance and you have to send your friend to a hospital in a certain time and like it was soooo hard for me at the time because I was a little kiddo damn do I miss this game
I actually had this game a month after its release and I enjoyed every bit of it(Even going as far as starting a new game and playing the story all over) It was fun discovering new ways to do missions and even trying dares and stuff. I'm glad to see more and more people are getting aware of this game. I myself have sold this game along with my Xbox 360 back when the PS4 released(I already had the PS4 I was trying to get rid of the Xbox). But I really wanna play this game again now more than ever. Maybe even stream it and do the campaign all over again and getting memories of Black Ops and MW2. Good old days.
This was my first racing/car game ever. We played it in my youthclub all of the time when me and my friends were 10. I would really love to see more of this content and it could be amazing to see a new game from the same makers of driver SF. Love your videos, peace
Definitely one of the most underrated games. Along with blur. Games that never got the love they deserved and in saying that wheelman was a half decent game if I remember right.

I loved this game. It was such fun getting into a chase, move the camera up and take over a bus. Slide and roll it over the road to block the other bath. Cause chaos and change back.
Fun fact if you are in free roam when you find the wheel icon (sorry i forgot the name the event) then switch to ghost mode then hover over the event area (with the wheel icon on it) then go back to your car to make your car impervious to damage its a bug that reflection didn't notice or fix in the game

Driver San Francisco was an excellent game. Doing every challenge was the reason why I kept playing this gem.
The Driving physics in all of the DRIVER Games were amazing and so satsifying.
