The selling is a repricing back to an accurate valuation for this company. I sincerely believe any big dips in Shopify should be brought, at least for the long term. I wouldn’t be surprised if it trades back in the 45-55 range in the near future. I’m buying here to build a long term position. Great company
45 seems a bit low unless we have big economic issues but 55 seems more reasonable
45 would be great but I don't see the market giving us that opportunity
@@CouchInvestor yeah I doubt it’ll get to the 40s. Especially with a fed pivot looking increasingly forthcoming after today’s numbers

@@CertifiedRetail you're wrong. Robo Taxi is years and years away from taking the job of Uber. Elon should focus on fixing pedals first and stop making stainless steel cars then they can replace Uber.

Love the company, not the stock price. I’ve analyzed this company multiple times and can’t get above a $25/share fair value, am I smokin crack? 😅
What metrics are you using as fair value, and what do you think they should be? I don't think you're far off if you don't value growth. SHOP's EV/Sales is 3X AMZN's. It's projected to grow 2x faster though. By my growth-based metrics it will be equal value to AMZN if it drops to $45.
@@mattanonysaurousrex I just use DCF and ROCE for the most part. Even with fairly aggressive growth priced in, I remember it not being close to market price. Maybe I'm missing something...
That's the thing with DCFs is that you can miss out of quality companies that the market always values at a higher premium
@@CouchInvestor Very true. My mental road block is factoring in more than 20ish % annual revenue growth for the next decade, and/or significant increases in fcf margins
