After watching this, LZJ is lacking in so many areas comparing to LCW. Juz only footwork, LCW is like floating & dancing in the court, as for LZJ, his footwork is very heavy & sometimes very clumsy too. Is there anyone replacing LCW in Msia? Guess not now..
Because he couldn't. Lin Dan & Chen Long are different beasts altogether, if he plays recklessly he'll get countered by their tenacious defence. Trust me, I've watched their matchups more than I should have.
I think lcw had explosive smash with crazy speed with feet along awesome net play and defense which was the reason he beat most players easily but when it came to long rallies he just didn't have enough juice, also I think he lacked the tactics which both LD n CL applied
All the above comment true but need to added up that he will run out pace because of the step he took 2or 3 step more than lindan due to height to reach the shuttle.. basic player or person with required more step in races are more exhausted..he can do like winning against lindan in all England 2010 if not mistaken where he need to all out in 2 straight set and made no mistake...also in that time lee improve his tactical.. but tactical can be learn and defeat if no stamina anymore... we can see both lindan and lcw have same tactical, good in attacks and defence..
Shi YU Qi’s play style doesn’t look like Lin Dan Successor, its more like Tianhou Wei or Qiao bin, on the other hand Li Shi Feng’s playstyle almost very nicely matches LD’s playstyle, so I think Li Shi Feng has a better playstyle which is a lot more All rounded comapared with Shi’a style.

For me, 2018 is much better than 2017 cuz LCW improved well, but he got nose cancer and only played for a half year but still won a couple of titles.
