1:42 the original had a "squishy head" and then later, a hard head. (they looked a little different because the paint on rubber looked different compared to hard plastic.)
Just scored a Toon Shredder for only $16!! I'm becoming a big fan of your reviews dude. I also won the super rare Mutant Module, and would like to try my hand at a review :-)
Irwin Toys "Future Trunks" is coming next. I have been trying to mix up my reviews.Like this is a tmnt review,,so next will be dbz review and then after that will be a X-Men. Maybe with a misc figure somewhere in between like,I still have to review my left over beetlejuice figures that been surprisingly getting a good amount of views.
for awhile i was just selling some of my old junk that i dont use anymore on ebay, like old pc games, old speakers etc etc. and I used that money for the figures,so its kind of an exchange. But i also do work from time to time. For my tmnt collection check out my "turtle update #2" video it shows moslty what i have so far except laltey ive gotten a couple more foot soldiers to complete my army. oh and i dont show any accessories, there all in bags. My X-men collection video might still be up.
i saw the link you sent me in my messages,,its very nice, ive seen it before on another website i think ,kitbash? they call them? yeah,I would love to do one myself but i dont have the patience for that much of an extreme customization
@Khold90 i know that is what it means. i was just wondering why a 2008 re-issue would be called this. because there are more cartoons now. yeah then i saw this was made in 1992 >( i still wonder why 'Toon Shredder' and not something a bit more 'cool'? uhm 'animated Shredder' 'THE Shredder' 'dressed Shredder'? lol
you mean like put some turtles in front of him? or should i have shown some different shredders from variuse lines?? by the time i was done recording and peiced everything together i realized that, and im like ahhh shoot,,f*** it... everyone probebly had the 1989 version anyway,,,they know about this figure lol
This is a great figure. I guess, in some sense, it's too bad that the Playmates reissue line this year didn't have this guy in the current lineup, but I guess I understand since this wasn't the original version of the figure. I do, however, think that this version is the definitive version of that figure mold because it's more show-accurate and looks so great.
I WISH SO HARD, THE RELEASE A CARTOON SHREDDER WITH DETAIL OF TODAY, THAT LOOKS LIKE THE CARTOON! (Turtles too afcourse) ARE THEY EVER GONNA RELEASE THOSE????
I had to. other wise it wouldnt be a review right? dont worry. this item isnt super duper rare or expensive yet. maybe anoterh 10 years from now i'll shoot myself in the foot. but when it does come to super rare and expensive items. i try to buy one in cheap loose condition and one in the box so i can still be able to show off the box but dont have to open it and just review the loose item.
as I told "dragonballzaj" below you,,Im trying to mix up my reviews, for example,,this is a tmnt review,so next will be a dbz review,,and then X-men,and I intend to repeat this process, with maybe a misc figure somewhere inbetween like beetle juice or something. The Real Ghostbusters will be the next big line I need to recollect. Even though on my other channel I did the "Cyclops tour of the blackbird" im thinking of doing a more in-depth review on this channel,,what do you think?
Shredder was always my favorite toy...followed by Krang and his 12" Android Body. Did you ever like the Footcruiser vehicle? Overall, good work man! Love your reviews.
@superrcain We all still loved it though ddint we lol. If I had this cartoon version i wold have liked it mch better thogh. the rubber bendable feel is kida cool to.
@@arkhamjaden2177 Well, a few things still have to happen first. I still struggle with stable housing. I also still need to buy two new lights, awaiting for a new old camera off ebay and stands and a few Knick knacks from Hong Kong. Meanwhile, my editing skills are rusty, so I am killing some time with practice videos on my other channel legendofmetal777

recently got the reissue of the 88, from 1990. The crouching and his fingers on the closed hand are a bit bothering

I prefer to review figures that are still in package or have there card at least. and i had bought bebop loose.
the cartoon action figure looks alot better than the first shredder ....at least he looks like the original cartoon version ....
good god! yeah some people sell things for ridiculos prices. some people will even sell modern new videogames for $20 OVER the brand new $60.00 MSRP
i didn't even know about teh gray boots purple boots variant, cool something new to find.
Not really,,I mean sometimes the availablity is kinda scarce on ebay but there are almost allways for sale....go ahead and open them. Enjoy.

collect points and send away for merchandise. I scanned it and showed it in my turtle party wagon review
@henkman00 Because it's Shredder......from the cartoon?
Looks better than the the non toon version
Good move opening it, the packaging art isn't all that great. Besides, there's a gazillion of these action figures that have been manufactured anyway.
Great reviews ! but the background music playing while you talk is somewhat distracting me from hearing what you say, which is a shame.
I just want to know where you get the money to buy all of these toys? Oh, and could you post a video of your collection?
Was there ever soundtrack released for the TMNT cartoon?
what did those pizza point ever do?
0:03 - 0:33 I love that part. Nice impressions of their voices and the crash sound is just hilarious!
Awesome review and definately the better version of shredder. check out the video i put up calling him out on not wearing a shirt for the old version.

i like the cape..its purple xP
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! you opened it
Yeah, I wish the reissue line had him, too. Instead we got the regular version, which wouldn't be so bad if they just gave him a FRICKEN shirt.
thanks, I'll check them out
I have seen customizers do better but the stance your dead right on
are there any other 1992 shredders out
do have the swiming turtles
shredder rules!
