Actress has great expression and is captivating, she could go far. So many of these short films have such gifted casts. Been enjoying these far more than the garbage Hollywood pushes out these days. Bravo 👏🏼
I was halfway hoping for a post-credit scene of the girl and the ghost playing the board game, with the ghost spookily saying, "I'm sorry for scaring you... but I've been waiting DECADES for someone to play with!"

Dude, this forced me to get rid of two boxes... now! This creator is excellent.
OK, if some unknown entity tosses a die at you from a box in the dark, are you going to stoop, pick up the die, and examine it, or immediately just get the hell out of there? But...I suppose it plays to the ultimate purpose of the story. The best part about this was the lead actress. She did a fantastic job, and I hope to see her in more work. Very talented. Well directed short. There's something about the ending that...I hate to say it, but it seems like it should have been more impactful. Perhaps if it was more abrupt or something? I don't know. That said, this was not bad.

You know.. I've been on a bit of a binge watching these shorts. I respect and appreciate them, as i enjoy horror. However, not once have experienced any of these actresses or actors scream. In the face of true horror, you're going to scream. Not just breath heavily. Its always; Startled, nervous, inquisitive, dead.
Great job; I just knew something Jumanji-like was going to happen. I had to pause the movie and go poop, I was so nervous!! Please, please, please put her in another one!!

This girl was clueless about her life choices so she played the game clue so she could get a clue …😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I thought it was funny anyway😅
⭐⭐ I didn't really like the flow of the story. and I wanted to see the monster more
Let's see. Eating Chinese out of a carton; always a cinematic short-cut symbol for "sad and lonely". Just moving in, meaning she had to move out of somewhere else. The box is marked with "Elyce's Stuff" but no one puts her OWN name on a box, so it must be the possessions of someone else no longer there (presumably dead). The game is "Clue", of course, which is odd, because Clue requires three players. But she's not really playing (she puts two pieces on one starting place!), she's just... trying to keep the pieces symbolically together? Luckily she must have rolled two sixes in a row. That level of desperate of loneliness calls forth a(n anti-?)loneliness demon, who is game to play. This naturally startles her at first, but then she gives in, because loneliness is now her companion? Phew. "Sorry" would have been a better game choice.
Very good observations!! We actually used 3 different board games (boxes) to hopefully create some “confusion” but CLUE was fun because of its use of rooms & space! So glad you picked up on all of it!

Since you were merging game pieces I think using the spinner from the game of "Life" could have added some extra tension with the ticking down noise it makes. Also add to the feeling that this was some makeshift game the two people made up with the spare pieces they had while also showing a relationship with missing parts but that worked anyway.
The spinning of the wheel at the end then would show the game of Life going on despite the other player leaving where the dice have a more "the die is cast" symbolism.

" Hey! Are you going to eat that egg roll? "
Fucking Creepy! Not pretentious at all, just good suspense, good payoff, excellent.
Excellent suspense. The soundtrack is very effective in this short movie. And the playing of the main character is very good. I like these stories when there's no dialogues. Not because I don't like dialogues in movies. On contrary. But because it requires much more cinematographic imagination to make the story enthralling for the viewers. Also, I would like to see the credit names of the actress (who is great) and the demon or whatever it is (lol!). I'm eager to watch more short horror films from you.
