I will forever love how Jo figured out there was supposed to be a system from the beginning, didn't say anything, and just decided to enjoy the experience. She's definitely my spirit animal.
Really love the editing on this show. Consistently brilliant comedic timing. That trailing off "so we were supposed to actually find out real stuff about him..." just sends me every time
"have you ever had any therapy?" That really isn't a great way to get to know somebody better. There are thousands of different reasons why someone might get therapy. BUT, even though that argument right there is enough to debunk the idea that "have you ever had any therapy?" is honestly a great way to get to know somebody better i think" I'll even take it a step further. You basically have mental therapy and physical therapy. I'm sure you (and most people) thought of mental therapy when she asked the question in this video. So if you asked someone "have you ever had any therapy?" and they answer yes. What if they are referring to physical therapy.....and you're thinking mental therapy. Mel? You mean Kerry Godliman. Katy Wix was absent for a couple of episodes due to being ill so she was replaced by Kerry and Katherine Ryan in the studio
Katy has been ill when they recorded the episodes in the studio. So Kerry replaced her (for two episodes I think) so she could get points for the last task and bargain for some points when Greg scores the task. In that way Katy can still keep up with the competition after
In a previous task, Jo sang a song called "Jerusalem" in the back of a car, while on the phone to Alex. It was a callback to that. The song is well known in Britain.
The obvious thing to do was ask three starter questions that had a provable fact as the answer, like what Rose asked. Then you would know which is true and take it from there
interesting that both teams guessed 3 years away from his age in opposite directions
I noticed that too
The worst part is they heard him say he was almost 40 then guessed 42.
the younger ones guessed under the older ones guessed older, too!
Statisticians: They got it correct! (on average)
Hindsight realisation: They could have turned around to look at Alex, as nothing in the task said they couldn't
i'd like to think no one even thought to look at alex
Or the team of 3 could have asked the same question three times to figure out where on the cycle they were.
@@lucasraines But they got it with just one question didn't they?
how do we know they even realised alex had signs?

"Yeah, but we're not using it" 🤣

You can tell this was filmed pre-covid given how relaxed Alex was with taking Ed's and Rose's chewing gum
🙄
And that is important because…
You can tell Alex has no respect for hygiene*
