- Demolition is underway on once popular North Las Vegas hotel and casino. Crews started tearing down Texas Station in addition to Fiesta Henderson. Joe Moeller reports.
Texas use to have some bomb steak and eggs for like $7. :(

Wow, I have so many memories in the Texas and Fiesta. I'll never forget the all you can eat buffet with the crab legs back in the day. The entire family (like 15, 20 of us) would go every weekend. The bowling alley and movie theater in the Texas was so much fun. School field trips to the ice skating rink inside the Texas. Hanging out with friends inside the Denny's at the Fiesta. Hope something just as good in put in their places!

Wow is right. I used to go there so many times to enjoy the buffet and gambling in both casinos. What a shame this happened
The Buffet was so good. Loved the Chinese and Mexican food stations. Many good memories.
They even had duck last time I went was 2005 because I moved away 😢
Texas was profitable af you can’t tell me it wasn’t, it was always busy. They’re tearing it down to build casinos in richer areas. They bought everything over here had a monopoly and no competition so they let the properties go on purpose.
Wow, they move fast here. I just moved here 1 year ago.

Fiesta Henderson used to be the Reserve! It’s sad to see it get destroyed after 20+ years of living here. That was my backyard growing up. I used to look out the window at the Fiesta Henderson and smile.
This is political and a contributor to the attack on middle class and to lower the standards in already struggling areas. Makes no sense and is a total disgrace. Those jobs were well needed but taken away from the community. That place had many regulars!
its just gonna become more houses, i doubt they would build something fun for the community there

I played video poker at The Reserve when it opened. Loved playing there. The cocktail waitresses wore skimpy uniforms made from animal skin tatters. Lovely sights. Station Casinos bought the place and named it Fiesta Henderson. FH had lots of video poker machines with good pay tables. The rooms were Spartan but clean. The food was low priced and quite good. I wish I could have spent one more night at FH before the wreckers arrived.
