The greatest accomplishment from your project is knowing your child will remember it as a testament of your love for him. It's awesome you got him involved every step of the way. We need more fathers like you.
As an architect and MOTU fan i cannot believe how over-designed and aesthetically perfect this fantasy fortress furniture is!!! Your craft skills are amazing~!!! Congratulations from the heart.
Jesus Christ this is the highest level of craftsmanship at the highest skill level, not to mention the engineering that had to be done to get everything together so seamlessly. The attention given to so many subtle details really makes it stand out; no, stand ALONE! I still have my Castle Greyskull from my childhood down in my basement somewhere. If I'd had something like this, I might still be using it now, forty some odd years later. Lucky kid, it looks like he truly enjoys and appreciates the truly phenomenal work that went in to it. Certainly nice to let him help out with parts during the construction. It adds to the appreciation when you feel like you were a part of making something that you have any passion about.
This is very cool, your son is going to be a happy little boy. I do have to say that I prefer the videos where you guys talk and explain what you are doing and how to do it. I understand for time the speed up no talk way. I like your guys personally and hearing the explaining and information.. Thanks for sharing and keep the cool videos coming. 🧡🤎💛🍁🍂
This was beyond epic!!! So much labour, time and love were poured into this project that I think it'll take Harrison years to fully grasp what you guys did for him here...
I was never a he-man fan, but this was fantastic! I tried making my own "Jaws" shark with fiberglass and it just didn't work out right. I don't have the patience or the money to continue working with fiberglass, either. Someday I hope to finish my shark with EVA foam and cosplay thermoplastic, instead!
Dude I could not imagine how happy I would be if I had this as a kid - let alone if my dad built it! This is definitely something that should be passed down and cherished for life. Amazing detail, insanely well done!!
That is awesome, seeing your son helping you out with the build. I remember when my sons were young, and always wanted to help out. And then they grew into teenagers. But hey that's life! We still have all those memories. Man your project was and is epic!
What everyone else said in the comments like Epic, Fantastic, Incredible, and words really fail to express this build! How awesome it would be as a kid to have this... I can see how excited he is to play with it, and it being a family build, it will be have all the memories with it.
Saying this is very cool is an understatement. Simply AMAZING! Here I thought my dad was great for making me replacement wooden He-Man swords when I broke my plastic ones. You went next level. My five-year-old would love this in his room.
was gona say its been ( re-update: nearly 9months ) maybe they are saving up footage and preparing for a massive video flow of halloween content , i see stores already got it out way early this year
@@HollywoodHaunter Sorry to hear 2023 wasn't great for you guys, hope 2024 finds you in a better situation. Can't wait to see what you have been up to in the future. al
This was a fantastic build! I’ve watched the step by step videos multiple times. Cool to see you condense it to one video. I’m still waiting for one eyed willies inferno clubhouse though. Always looking forward to your next video Chris and Jeana.
Part of me would like to create that door as well just to carve the the fun details. But for this project I was trying to match the vintage comic illustrations I grew up with and the images of the prototype Grayskull to be different.
Did you use a coat of gel after the fiberglass? It was a white gloss you put on the smooth it out. I see in this video you cut the styrofoam out which is what ill do. Is there a list of supplies I can find somewhere please? Thank you so much. This is awesome!
Hi! So sorry for the delay. If you're still interested and didn't see them already we have other videos of the build process. There should be one of us putting the gel coat finish on. I believe it has the Numbskull in the title. Also we should have a giant pumpkin video where we talk about the gel coat process. Thanks for your comment!
This is the absolute sickest thing I have ever laid my eyes on......holy cow. Outstanding doesn't even begin to describe this. Wow. Hats off and then some! My inner child just wants to play in this all day :) Simply amazing and jaw dropping work, well done!!!!!!!
Every time I see one of your builds, I want to build SOMETHING & realise I really DO need a compressor & nailer, & tablesaw, & a router, & a foam spray holster tings, & etc., etc., etc. !
This was fantastic ! I hope you do more of these. I probably wouldn't go back and watch every video about it, but this is perfect. Forgot lots of the details ! Forgot about the back stand bit, Gina's amazing glow in the dark skull & ALL the incredible painting she did on the entire build & the fact you put it in Harrison's room ! I know this was probably a lot of work !?
BRILLIANT You guys are so incredible. I enjoy all your videos. Been a big fan for years now. Your sone is getting so big. It's so cool to have a bedroom like this, every kids dream bedroom so so fun, exploring and enchanting. Imagination overload! It's going to be amazing to see him grow and where and what he chooses to do growing up with such artistic parents who share and explain. Great job guys. Great fun video!
Awesome job! You guys are going to be the parents that the other kids say, “but Mom, his parents let him get a super themed play set” 😂😂😂. You guys are so talented! Will yall be at TransWorld?
@@HollywoodHaunter Unfortunately not this year. Hopefully next year though! Too far of a drive and the timing doesn’t fit well. Definitely on the bucket list to go one of these years though. I will have to keep up with the live streams from various of RUclipsrs of it hahaha
