I know a few people that have better quality fake LV bags then the one’s that LV themselves make It so odd and kind of annoying just knowing how kind of crappy real LV bags are. Theres a few that are probably worth the money, but so far not enough that I’d really want to buy one? I’m glad you’ve made the bags better and repaired as many as you have. I’ve learned to not want to buy one now that I’ve seen so many of these videos on them.

It’s an east-west style now. I think those of us with a bag collection ( mine isn’t huge and is mainly Mulberry England) forget that someone with just one bag, who uses it every day will actually wear the materials out over time. None of my bags get used often enough to get that type of damage, because I have some I wear only in summer or winter etc and they get rotated , but I think it’s cool that someone loves their bag so much and wears it to every occasion.

I just watched a youtube video on LV repairs for cracked ir missing PVC coating on the canvas. This bag is pretty extensively damaged, but you buy Edge Kote, which is a PVC coating. With a small brush fill the cracks on the canvas, heat with a heat gun and press with a tool lightly to give it a grain look. Allow it to dry thoroughly. I have an LV Speedy 40 that has one scratch on the bottom I think I'll try it on.

Always especially love your handbag restoration videos, and this one turned out great as usual. I couldn't help wondering, though: wouldn't it also have been an option for you to restore this bag the way you did the vintage Gucci a month or so ago? The customer was a woman restoring her mother's 30 year old Gucci bag so she could give it back to her as a present, restored. On that one, you cut out a new wider trim piece to cover up the tears in the canvas. Could that have been done for this bag also, covering up the tears at the top without trimming off the damaged area?

@@BedosLeatherworksLLC Yes, *in your hands and with your skills, anything is possible.* I don't think 95% of cobblers out there would even try to save this bag, and if they did try, I don't know that the customer would be happy with the results. That's why women who love their handbags go to you for repairs. It's worth it.

Always amazes me how cheap these bags seem to be made at the factory. I also assumed they were leather at least.

Well done Steve, another great repair on crappie over priced bag that was badly made in the first place. Anyone that thinks your repairs are wrong needs their head looked at. Best wishes from Scotland.
If you don't mind me asking, whats the gold thread you're using?

It just amazes me what people will spend for a cloth and plastic bag?
