Steve, thank you, so very much for the beautiful job you did on my bag. I received my bag prior to the airing of this video so, you can only imagine my surprise to see new handles on her. I've had this bag for more than 35 years; of which the last 20 were spent in a closet due to her condition. You did a magnificent job. May God bless you, your family and Zeus. Thank you again. VM
You just can't bring yourself to do half-assed work, Steve! This is why you have such a stellar reputation. Beautiful restoration.
Something seems very off. I hope you pull through whatever issues you're having. We need you to be healthy. Please rest.
“I decided to give her new handles,” he says, surprising absolutely nobody. Another amazing job, Steve.
You always end up doing more than promised... Being a carpenter I can relate..... Fixing failed repairs....Thats what makes you a craftsman
I’m not sure that Louis Vuitton would have repaired that one. It looks like it well used, and a bit too rough at that. You’re work is excellent . Perhaps you should contact LV and see if you could become an authorized repair station for them. Their goods are excellent quality and I believe your work lives up to their standard of quality.
You did an AMAZING job. If you designed and produced a handbag I’d buy it.
Going back to unstitch the second zipper stiches (once or twice?) probably added to your 'time'. Never the less. It looks marvelous as usual. You should probably just accept that the true craftsman/artist inside of you cannot let anything go out of the shop half done. Or not looking really good. I have seen enough of your videos to know that you often change your methods as you deconstruct and think about the project. That happens after the quote and you never add on to the quote. I admire you immensely for your heart and ability to make a project right. Regardless of extra cost.
The best thing I always like to hear from all your videos is you saying in a high pitch "let's continue" 😉👍
You do more than you promise because you care about the craft, the product and the customer. It's more rewarding for you to go OCD and perfect the job, than it is to meat the demand and or means of the customer. They stepped up to the plate and are willing to pay for as much work they can afford, you are just taking it to the next level, paying with labor and care. No harm in this, if you can afford to do it. The best customer for you, is one who says, "Steve, I trust you. Do what you need to do, and write me up whatever it costs." They are the best because they love your work and respect you.
The second Steve says “I’m gonna have to think about new handles”, we all go “forget about it, he’s gonna do new handles”. ☺️ You are a gem Steve and the skill, emotion, quality and thoroughness of your work shows in every single detail. Bravo. Bravo.
If you look up generosity of spirit by definition you’ll see a smiling picture of Steve looking back at you. Well done Steve! I genuinely appreciate these videos of your beautiful work. All the best for you and yours. Robert.
Great job Steve, peoples sentimental attachment never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for sharing
Steve, you are the definition of a stand up guy. Beautiful work and work ethic.
I would like to see an apprentice working along you Steve and dooing small jobs,👍 Your craftsmanship and experience is beyond anyone's expectation
Your workmanship and attention to detail is so much better than the originals bought from the popular luxury boutiques labelled as “Made in Italy”, “Made in France”.
Welcome to Steve Vuitton ... repair’s Louis’ work.
I knew you'd do new handles. That's the work of a Craftsman who takes pride in his work! Great job my friend. 👍👍👍
Love your t-shirt Steve. Enjoy watching your work. Work still blow me away.
