Just a quick comment on the, "righties only" saying-
I don't think it's really accurate. I think it's just that the pocket clip is simply on the right side only. It doesn't mean a left-handed person can't use the knife, and use it comfortably. I'm right-handed, but I sometimes carry pocket knives on my left side; all with the pocket clips on the "right hand side". You just have to deploy it differently. I'll pull it out with my left hand, switch it to my right, then open and use it. It's just a small extra step that, honestly, doesn't even take a second, and you get used to very quickly.
I just think left-handed folks should take that into consideration if they really like a blade. Don't just write it off because you can't put the pocket clip on the left-hand-friendly side.

I've owned and used this knife for several months and I love it. Love the design and its potential martial applications. Provides a wicked profile when held in reverse grip. Nice review. I did not have the frequency of issues you had with the safety lock. Would not consider it an issue, but do agree it's unneeded. Great value for the money, recommend!

I love the P155-W so much I also purchased the P155-B.
Not really a fan of secondary locks myself. Just doesn't seem necessary to me for a knife I'm going to use to breakdown boxes and open packages and what not.
On a side note, not sure if this has been suggested but would love to see you do a review on the QSP Parrott. You can get it on Amazon for $20. The quality is up there with the Rat 2 in my opinion. I believe QSP is a Chinese company but their quality control is top notch. I've also seen some of their more expensive knives like the Copperhead and Black Mamba. Just a suggestion!
I bought the black version. Great knife, I'm going to get some Mothers polishing paste and put a deep mirror finish on the blade,liners and screws... I think it will look awesome.
Nice job with the design, it does look somewhat like a jambiya. I really wish that Ruike would do away with bead blasting their knives though.

Hi Aaron! Ruike has really been out doing themselves with these budget knives. Theres been a few from them that I like looks wise. But there's always some features that I don't like on a particular blade. For example, I don't like frame locks and I don't like the big sweep on the P155. Which is why I haven't bought one yet. I usually don't carry folders because I always end up losing them. But recently I've really had an itch to play with one that has a flipper. Is there any of the several knives you've reviewed on a budget, that you would recommend? By budget, I mean like in the $20-$60 dollars range since I know I will eventually lose it. I do remember you recommended the Ka bar dozer ( I believe ) a while ago, so will be checking that out soon. But it does look a bit too small for my hands ( XL ). Thanks

I don’t have this one, but I have the hussar for about four years and it is so well designed and made, I mirror polished the blade and smoothed and polished the g10. It’s literally perfect!

You know this my may not work for you. But it will work for me. Just saw one in the Mast General Store about three weeks ago. I messed with it a little bit. Fell in love with it and I love the blade shape. I do a lot of walking for my health. And my biggest concern are dogs and people. Since it seems like about 80% of the people were I live , have pitbulls. Don't get me wrong. All pitbulls are bad just a lot of bad owners. But I don't want to be a victim if I go on the ground. do you carry pepper spray. I like the fact that the blade does lock into place not a problem for me. Glad you were viewed it though because what works for some may not work for others thanks a lot. Buying one soon.
