John Schlitt and Petra great always. Never fade away. Others secular band like scorpions, skid row and many more can't do the same way like they did in the 80's.
Cristian Borneo is phenomenal. But not for all the reasons you'd think - yes, he's skilled as a drummer, but he has CLEARLY studied the catalog. As a drummer who has listen to Petra for years, I can tell you that Borneo nails every fill, every transition. Right down to his kick pedal. He's not just "playing the song". He's performing it note for note as it was recorded. Drummers can be given a wide latitude when it comes to performance, and he is paying tribute to the legacy of the music by performing it as it was meant to be heard. What he's doing is harder to duplicate that you'd think in that every note is duplicated authentically all to serve the song. I could listen to this guy play all day.
@@kaitlynmetzger8235 That's so cool! A girl who pointed out Bob Hartman, I've never come across that since everyone in my church is too young lol I'm 32. High five to You Kaitlyn
@@RaymondAmparan Haha, I'm a HUGE Petra fan...and I'm 21. It's funny though, the old stuff is coming back. My mom introduced me to Petra, but I have friends who are into them, too.
@@kaitlynmetzger8235 That's so awesome! In 1995 my Mom took me to a CD store named Blockbuster music "I'm a millennial lol"... the only band I knew was DC Talk so this CD was green and all the guys on the cover looked cool so I picked it, I was 5 years old and it was Petra's No Doubt. That was my first album. God destined to equip me with that album for the rest of my life. When I gave my life back to Jesus, that album kept me grounded and is the soundtrack to my life. Especially the songs "no doubt, sincerely yours, for all your worth and heart of a hero. I know every song from Petra on guitar and backup vocals lol I sadly never got to see them because the one time they came to El Paso, TX My parents bought me tickets and I got sick that day :/
@@RaymondAmparan So cool!! The Lord has definitely used them big time in my life in sooo many ways. If I were going to try and list them all, we'd be here for a while, haha. I did get to meet John Schlitt on FaceTime at the beginning of the year, but I was honestly so nervous and it was such a last minute thing, I didn't get to say much. They were obedient to the call of God on their lives and God used them so mightily.
PETRA : my best christian band for all time !!! God bless them. SHALOM

John is sounding so much better. He could consider visiting Ken Tamplin for a total vocal makeover.
Awesome.
Yes!!!
💖🙏
De l,ux y excelente audio pese al carente video!
John Schlitt has still got it! 😁👍
Think this might be the best sounding Petra live with John. Still prefer Greg though.
where's Bob?
He's the one on the guitar closest to the camera.

Suena tremendo terribles músicos si saben lo que hacen.
In my opinion the drummer is the less talented ..........🤣...just kidding...you are great!
