I loved the ground floor and the message of hope they conveyed to the lost sheep who still wander out in the open fields of darkness.

Volz, returned to the group and was singing this song while playing a keyboard (perhaps a harpsichord) - I've seen Volz play rhythm guitar and percussion and have read that he could play drums too, but never seen or heard about him playing keyboards.
It would sound interesting if Greg X. Volz sang lead vocals on this song, although it might be a little out of his vocal range. He has a four octave vocal range, so perhaps he could do it.
