I don't care about custom shop or any guitar with Murphy lab jizz in the lacquer. Guitar of the day at Norms should always be vintage. I can go play something similar ish to this at my local shop. Play things I will never run into. That's the goods. But Michael's playing is always A+
I have a 60th 1960 "v2" of these, with the in-between neck, not too slim, not as chunky as the 59 neck. Only 8lbs 1oz. Knew it was the one with the first thing I played on it, "Good Times Bad Times". Had to have it.
Hey, There is a 1952 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top on Ebay for $107,500.00 on EBAY!. Les Paul Played it and Signed it. This is an Original Mint Condition '52. This is Gibson History played by Les Paul And Rick James. Owned by a Collector who doesn't play. i SAW IT on 11-19-2024.
The Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop 60th Anniversary 1959 Reissue is one of the best R9s you can buy. The flamed maple tops are incredible. I am looking for a quilted maple top version. The burst finishes vary. Factory Burst is one of the nicest. Trogly has a video on the model. He has a NAMM 50th Anniversary R9 guitar with the quilted maple top. $$$$$
I have one and it is incredible. 30 years of playing and it’s the best guitar I’ve ever played. Get the 60’s slim neck if you want more of a more SG type neck feel.
They churn out so many Custom Shop guitars and special edition models these days the market is saturated. Buying a 2019 Custom Shop LP is highly unlikely to make you a big investment return. In fact if you bought it new you’ll most likely lose a ton of money on it. Over 20 years you would almost certainly get a better return having your money in a high interest account. Buy it if you want to own it. Don’t bother if your intention is to make money.
I have an strange, “rare” idea for a Norman Rare Guitars, for this Special Gibson Les Paul R9 Lemon Burst, I can offer almost everything I have: - Fender Custom Shop 59 Strat NOS Chocolate 3 Tone Sunburst Limited Summer'20 from December 2023 (Customized in Sonic Blue). Price: between 4.000-5000€. - Gibson Les Paul Traditional 2019 Heritage Cherry Sunburst. Price: between 2.200 - 2.500€. - Fender American Vintage 52 Telecaster Butterscotch Blonde Price: 2.200€. - Fender American Special Strat Olympic White. Price: 1.200€. - Epiphone Sheraton II Pro Sunburst (with original pickups and a luthier hand wound installed). Price: 700€. - Ibanez Electric Acoustic Guitar in deep blue. Price: 359€. - Gibson Les Paul Studio Radiant Red Rocket (My first Guitar from 2010-2012). Price: 1.259€. It is a diamond that “money” cannot buy. - Perpetual License Cubase 13 Pro. Price: 521€. - My extra salary in December. 1.000€ in cash. Total Amount: almost 14.000€. My name is Jesús Sánchez from Ronda (Andalucía, España). It’s a pleasure to meet you. I think Murphy lab creations are Special, awesome and pretty, wild beautiful. So please, let me know if we have a deal or chance to exchange my guitars… I am serious, this is not a joke. I don’t have the opportunity to take all my gear in airplane and take a flight to USA, not to much money… Well, it might be the best Christmas ever I believe.
That top! That playing! But also that top!
Oooh!! I have one of my own. Mine is a Dutchburst. The 60th anniversary run was incredible.
I’ve got one as well. Definite keeper!
Totally not expecting #RATT, but I'm here for it.
Heck yeah RATT. One of the most iconic riffs of the 80s imo.
The reverb sounds fantastic
Michael is beyond good.
He's so good it's hard to even describe.
🙏🕊️❤️
Great playing. Thanks for the video.

Great playing, great guitar and the sound was amazing!
Little heavy on the reverb but still very cool .
What’s with all the reverb?
Tbh I like it
my fav guitarist of norms
sounds dark/muffled to me (treble turned down?)
Awful sounding

I read goth anniversary. And got excited. I love the gothic series.
Hall Reverb overload

@talkychris I made lots more in the market
It's like a homogeny of the classic cherry burst and a tobacco burst.
You’ll look great in pin stripes even though the Dodgers won the WS in ‘59.
Fantastic guitar...maybe a bit too much reverb
Factoryburst. Like mine.
No clean sounds?
Too much reverb...It kind of ruined the sound for me actually. But that's just my opinion.
Totally wrong settings to do guitar and song(s) justice
RATT! Lay It Down!!
I need MORE
👍✌❤😎
ease up on the gain.
The top and Burst are beautiful, the sound is meh, totally muffled.
Jen can you please stop dropping advertisements in the middle of the music
TOO MUCH REVERB!!!!!!!
First!!!
