Possibly one of the most astonishing video i've seen on precision wood working. This level of skill is quite abnormal, really. Thank you for sharing this. You got yourself a well-deserved sub.
I'm not even a fan of woodworking in general, but I will always stop what I am doing to watch a master ply his or her craft. There's something very engaging about it.
Film perfection IMO. Perfect lighting, music, and camera work. This, added to such incredible woodworking skill, makes for a mesmerizing effect. More please!!
Beautiful video! Liked all the little details you included, the cat, the slow pace and the workshop sounds, the music and looking at your tools. And liked the lovely box that emerged at the end. Imagine it is for someone special. Thank you for sharing all this
Now this is the kind of gift I would gladly receive , what a lovely thing and a joy , knowing someone used their time and talented woodworking skillset to create something beautiful. The world needs people who take their valuable time to give into it , not take from it with worthless pursuits. Thankyou for uploading this , you and people like you make me happy. :)
An absolute pleasure to watch! Watched this in x2 speed without music, then replayed in x1 and with music and was absolutely immersed. Hope to see more soon!
gotta admit, normally i don't like music while watching videos like this but that was relaxing music and not normally heard. Well done. Both with the box and the music. the box came out GORGEOUS.
I consider myself to be a master woodworker. Though I use alot more technology than hand tools. But this kind of workmanship blows me away. Much respect!
This is an exceptional piece of work. Watching you work was a great pleasure as I can see that you are determined to ensure that everything you do, you do to the best of your abilities. As a Japanese embroiderer here in the UK, I recognise that drive to be the best you can which comes from attempting Japanese art. Thank you.
Glad to see that there are sill fine artisans and that not all skills have be lost to mass production. Your video shows woodworking skills that are not taught today,Bravo.
really beautiful Vilpul! Just popped in from the workshop to have a cuppa and thought i'd watch one of your videos... one of the best cups of tea i've ever had (and there has been a lot!!) keep up the beautiful work!
You sir are a master. Beautifully made and the attention to detail was wonderful to see. Simply amazing. Can't wait to see what else you make. Thank you for sharing your talents.
@@keiyosa3404 interesting. I haven’t tried a bandsaw. I’ve been cutting mine on a bench top router table, and side cutter bits of various thicknesses, along with a jig.

I’m honoured, thank you!
@@megawetdiaper Well, I can only surmise that you are one the dislikes. I don't understand why: but to each his own.

Lol. Perhaps Ryan sees how simple this box is to make and how much time and equipment was used to make such an ordinary item.
@@megawetdiaper hey Mr. American, it's Made In Japan. So stfu. There is always that one american who cannot accept that asians are better.

I can’t imagine trying to cut miter key slots with a hand saw. I loved watching the craftsmanship.
Thank you. We find them to be a little nicer than table saw cut ones. We’ve done them on a bandsaw with a jig too.
