I think Maynard’s voice should be used as an AMV for Death Note. His is so fitting for Light and TOOL and A Perfect Circle fit so well. This one is good too!
For me light is a hero and I have the next argument. Light is perfect example for how power can transform a man ...If we think at the base of kira thinking we will observe there that is exactly a human characteristic ....Every human want justice so this is good....He start from a very good idea but then he get mad when realise that in this world is full of pain and lack of justice ...then he go in another extreme feeling....He want to be god of a new world ...There is theory of nietzche...The human is god ...but in the end he realise that this theory even if with and death angel he can't be god...when human surpass his limit he only reach a higher lvl of madness...

I mean, all major wars ended because of Kira. that's millions of lives saved. sure, he has lot of faults, he is prideful and arrogant, and kills people sometimes just to make a point,but L has a lot of flaws as well. I do like L too, though.
would you really want to live in lights world? a world in which you can be killed off if you disagree with an ideology wich discourages free will in the name of safety! A fake safety no less, people have real value when they act for themselves the cost of lights vision is the human condition and then whats the point of living. To through away pride and go through the motions day in day out. thats why light is a villain. Or can you refute me?

I would prefer it if dn belonged to someone less prideful than light, but I think there would be more pros than cons to the world. Also, it wouldn't be like that forever, light would eventually die, and the world would be normal again, but it would be a better world due to the decline of wars and crime.

L is by no means a good person but he would be the gray to lights black and i don't think that light would have the positive effect you think he would. once the sword of Damocles hanging overhead is removed there would be mas violence as the people who where forced to follow would take there anger out on the vocal supporters probably leading to world wide genocide. Lights ideology of a perfect world is wrong as such a belief would suppress art culture and even technology as there is no need to innovate or improve lord Kira's perfect society. light may believe he is completely right but the most dangerous part of him is not that he is evil its that his beliefs are wrong.

He was quite brilliant extremely logical. this just shows how that power of killing people changed a boy who wanted to change the world into a mass murderer I supported light with all his plans and ideas. The majority of death note fans hate light because he killed L. I was a little shocked that L died but it really didn't phase me. But when light died. I sobbed. I felt like that was the absolutely wrong ending for the show it felt to sudden. also I HATE NEAR WITH A PASSION. He was such a savage tho but I still HATE near.
