It’s more beneficial to always build plots with house extensions. You end up getting two families but as a singular plot they consume only one area of resource (1 firewood per month and 5 food items). The more burgage plots with singular homes the more resources you use. Long backyard extensions do increase amounts of veg/apples but longer extension plots do not add the amount per month you get for animal pens or chickens so it’s best to keep those extensions small. Keep to 20 burgage plots total for one market stall of each food and common goods. If you go over 20 plots you need to add extra granary and store house workers to have one more stall each. 20 plots at level 3 with family extensions you can reach almost 200 population with more families than you know what to do with. Hope this helps 😇
@ a single burgage plot has one family. A double burgage plot has two families. Resources are taken per month by plot not family. So it’s like getting an extra family without having to pay
The problem I have found however is that artisans typically are better when just one family is inhabiting them. If all your houses are doubled, then you lose two families per artisan. That is not necessarily a great thing and can harm your economy. You can plan out doubles and not use them as artisans.
This is good advice. I had a great couple of hours with gaming, both yesterday and today, and I learn a lot from watching videos and reading comments. I usually struggle a lot with food when the village grow, so now I know that I should build more storage/granary-buildings, to avoid that sad little video of the starving old man.
Please keep posting and take this as a compliment. Your videos help me sleep so well. Your voice is so great. But. Your content is so good that I rewatch the video the next day because I miss what you say. lol sleep is needed but so is your content
My friend, I had manor lords on my wish list and decided to finally give it a try with the most recent patch coming out. I’ve been absolutely obsessed ever since, and of course RUclips suggested me your videos. I’ve learned a ton from watching you. And, even better, I always enjoy having something relaxing to fall asleep to and these have really fit the bill. Thanks a lot for this content man, you are seriously awesome! Earned my sub for sure!
this is sad that ai do not build its own town or a least have prebuilt city to develop. i hope there will be this kind of feature. best manor lord video creator) thanks!
It's endless riches, it should be nerfed in my opinion, perhaps instead double or triple the amount from the deep mines, or made the materials worthless economically when the market is over-used for various items.
"Relaxing Longplay" Me reaching 3:38:00 and screaming at my screen in frustration that there is no reserve set for the sheep to limit the amount of sheep the butchers can take. 'I am no longer relaxed' XD
What a horrible slaughter! I agree with you though, you would probably have needed to double the video length in order to gain a comeback after so much blood being spilled. Hopefully Slavic Magic/Hooded Horse have plans for a more detailed battle screen, with more strategy options. For example when the British beat the French during the Hundred Years war, at Agincourt, they were fighting all day. Eventually at dark, the British dared to believe they had won the battle. In those battles there were also single combat, shouting of insults generals, heroes, knights that had several horses and dozens of men to support them, and specially tactics, shield-wall, infantry with throwing weapons, horrible insults, trying to goad the enemy into attacking at a disadvantage, hedgerows of wooden pikes, trenches dug, it was also a lot about being able to feed the army, they get sick from dysentery, they had endless sieges etc. etc. ETC.
I want to play this game, but I don’t have a good gaming computer. I’m not big into gaming so don’t want to spend more than $1000 for a new computer, but if I spent like $700-$1000 would I get a computer that could handle this game?
yeah id say so! they're coming out with new graphics cards, included for laptops as well so id wait until you see a laptop with a RTX 5060 or 5070 in the name, 4000 series laptops will be the older generation and you'd be paying the same amount as the new ones since they dont drop their prices for older ones. something to keep an eye out for!
little bit of a hot take but you can usually get a used gaming laptop for a decent price as well, just make sure it has like a rtx 3070 or 4070 at least
I have Civilization Revolution on my PlayStation 3 and I hardly play it, but there are similarities between that game and Manor Lords that I might get back into it and try to get better at it. I like that you take your time and not rush through it. It’s all a process and I appreciate the level of detail you put into it to make it a grand experience. Civilization works the same way, but on a larger scale. And Civ 7 is getting closer to being completed!
Best manor lord videos

That's weird because it should be almost the same. It's still two houses and families.

@ your right. When I dedicate an artisan I put only one family. Except the brewers, I use a double. I don’t want any issues with ale production.

It's the best way to learn to play really. City Planner Plays have some good videos too, but he's stressing too much for such a relaxing game.

unlocking deep mine using development points on a rich deposit of clay, iron or stone gives you basically unlimited supply.
It's endless riches, it should be nerfed in my opinion, perhaps instead double or triple the amount from the deep mines, or made the materials worthless economically when the market is over-used for various items.
some time you must zoom in your building, roads so we could admire that beautys

It wasn't on last time either!! It is why they took all!!! 😭😭😭

You should allow your fields to fallow at least 1 year between harvests otherwise your yeilds are going to be minimal.
