Rode this exact bike about 2 weeks ago. And I instantly fell in love.
Calm and relaxed and brilliant gearing meaning you can sit at any speed in any gear yet find the right road and she just flies.
Light and nimble and way more beautiful than the very old looking Bonneville range now which personally I think now needs more modern touches to compete.
West/south Devon has some absolutely incredible roads also. You just needed to go a touch further.
I’ve bought one and done some long rides now and have no issues with her at all. Plenty of side panniers and luggage racks available.

Just come back from the French Alps on mine; fantastic bike, even on the Motorways. 1800 miles and no issues whatsoever. Yes very slow it is a little heavy on the wrists, but it is nowhere near sportsbike heavy. The torque, oh baby....

I bought a new orange tank one in 2023. I agree it is good for shorter and medium distance rides. I have a new Ducati Diavel V4 and a BMW R1200R for touring. One negative is that bloody rear mudguard is useless in the wet and you get sprayed up your back, so if you want a bike for year around usage you need to take that into consideration or adapt a full rear mudguard for the bike. Unfortunately these new designs in mudguards are fashion before function. I recommend it for a fun bike that has road sensible power that still supplies interesting and reasonable power. Same here, in a lot of ways the Speed Twin is a much better looking bike, but looks aren't everything (so they tell me 😂)

I have the 22 speed twin 1200 yes it's not a tall man's bike I'm 5'6''suits me even though I can't flat foot this bike left leg down can't say I have problems reading the gauge cluster I love mine plenty of grunt for me the t120 would be too heavy and under powered I only do 2 or 3 hours at a time wouldn't recommend the speed twin for long distance although van blam does big distances on his

Just a suggestion, could you talk a little more slowly in your videos especially this one as you tend to speak so fast like a machine gun, not drawing breath let alone pausing to take a breath. I have noticed it before maybe you get a little too excited?
I've not ridden a Speed Twin and so was interested in your review but owing to the roads you chose and traffic the bike didn't really stand a chance. I appreciate you might be unfamiliar with the area but maybe the dealer could have advised you on some good roads to take it on before you took it out?
It's a nice looking bike, but you say it is very small, but then I think you are quite tall 6ft, so being a taller rider it's going to feel perhaps a smaller bike? I've not ridden a Bonnevile T120 so your comparison to it was lost on me. I think I prefer the Speed Triple to this Speed Twin as Triumph's main hooligan bike. The Speed Twin has always appeared a little pedestrian to me, meh, bland, but it looks ok. I really like the look of the Thruxton R gen 1. Rode one about 5 years ago and loved it although it was a little too easy to scrape the foot pegs. Have you had one of those on your channel although I can't see you liking it owing to it's cafe racer drop clip on bars. I like it without the silly front headlight fairing.
    Thanks anyway.
    ATB.

It's a real pain for me too, as I try not to talk too quickly, but my mind races! I don't have a script as some others do, so I say how I feel in the moment, and sometimes there is a lot going on in my head, and it just dribbles out of my mouth at a rate of knots 🤣
And this was the first time taking bikes from a dealer for a test, if I do this again, I'll get a route sorted before I get there 😏

You could always set the playback speed below normal
