I’m free to play as well and the one thing that helped me most is the icon that shows you lineups that have successfully completed the stage. You can find it on normal world enemies as well as AFK stages. Switched my lineup, copied the positioning, and boom, afk 258 and in dark forest 5 on day 6.
honor duel really is the best mode. It reminds me of the draft mode in epic7 that they just released. Ran it once and ended up getting mythic igor, seth, silvina, carolina and a legendary thoran and they absolutely tore through everyone
If someone has all 4 day seven heroes, its worth knowing that Brutus and Rowan fill their roles perfectly well at a single copy. Eironn needs copies to unlock his EX weapon. Igor benefits quite a bit from copies too, especially for heal blocking, but it's not quite as essential to being good.
Forging is to help you in strength and progression. But I would always check the Holistone stores first for equipment upgrades before you forge. Gold I havent had an issue with yet, so not sure.

I wouldn’t buy gear personally from the shop. You get plenty from dream realm and other content and it will get upgraded anyway. I’d rather save gold for upgrading artefacts
As F2P, you have too IMO to progress faster. Gear is so valuable for stats. Plus I've already upgraded Artifacts and now just stuck on progression . Can't even level Artifacts any higher
@@BarcodeRUclips I see, I’m at reso 90 so artefacts can be upgraded to 7 and getting lv120 gear from corrupted and dream realm just made it seem like buying gear for like 300k+ gold seemed like a waste. I can however see your point if it is a slow grind as f2p and if you do not pick up any gear from the said contents
Day 4, afk 203, hero lvls 74 and 1 70 (need purple thing to upgrade) .... i beat everything below lvl 81 on the map, waithing for reserces its boring, this is not a f2p game, i bet i'll get bored in 2 weeks if i have nothing to do to progress
Gacha games have to be played like a marathon, unlike other games where you can speedrun it like story based games. Trust me, I was in your situation as well, so I understand your frustration well lol. Similar to multiplayer games where you don’t just become the best in a week. Only difference is competitive multiplayer games wants you to have more active playtime, while many gacha games lean on a more passive, yet consistent playtime.
@@moshimic5628 if you keep player engaged only like 30 min a day, how are you supposed to convince f2p to spend ? today its my 6th day, got 3 84 heros and 2 80, waiting for hero essence, afk 250 cant do anything on map till i do afk 255 ... hope that will be maybe tomorrow
@@b4g4b3l Yeah there's definitely those type of players who prefer to just hop in a game for a short time and easily get back to do other things, and they'd not complain at all, especially since you'd eventually get all the heroes (if consistent). It's such a pain trying to squeeze as much in just an hour of playing a game. Even worse if a certain game takes me half an hour just to get used to the controls and recall what to do next. Now I have 30 minutes to actually play the game LOL. It's probably why I'm fine playing this game, since I can just hop in real quick and get off for other stuff. Personally, I don't see an incentive to spend unless you have a lot of money to spare, or/and you want to be part of the top rankings (edit: Plus, it's possible to get all the heroes with enough patience and consistency for now.) The game does show pop up deals to spend on, but it's ultimately our decision. At the end of the day, this is just my take, and I understand what you're saying. We're struggling together trying to progress, but at least you're ahead which is nice to see lol.
@@moshimic5628 i only spend if i play 3 or so months, a game and it keeps me engaged, to reward them for my entertainment... but at this passing i will get bored really fast and dont think i'll play this 3 months... 250+ afk rewards 1537 essence/ day to lvl up a hero i need 1566 ... so if you are stuck you need to wait like 5 days, its retarded its a good game and i'm glat people enjoy it !

It’s a slow grind! At least all the heroes at the moment are free if you can wait 40 days xD
