Holy shit man this video was amazing. I didn’t change my stats up and never got staff spin. Hell I didn’t even change my spirit lol but phase one just keeping distance was great advice and unveiling strike that big staff drop he does in the beginning and the rest of the time really helped out, as well as the fan I wasn’t using it. With those 3 things I beat him my first time!!
Wondering what gourd/drink/brews you are using to get quick Qi recovery. Presuming Sunset for the drink, but are you using anything else? Thanks in advance. Your guides are awesome.
How are you charging to a 4th focus point? I have it unlocked but can only get while fighting not self charging. Edit.. i was using the tri edge spear i didn't realize it was tied to the staff
Supreme Gourde: Drink: Sunset of the Nine Skies (Qi buildup) - Soaks: Turtle Tear (Mana), Breath of Fire, Tiger Relic. Don't use it right up next to him, I found it sometimes cancelled out upon casting. Even if your health is full, keep drinking until the bar is full again. Otherwise if that's what you are doing, then strange if it does not let you use it again.
@@PlayerOne483 Wearing all pieces of that same full armour set you get in chapter 6 gives you that. Then it drops to 3 in phase 2. If I took one of those pieces off, then it would have been 3 focus points. ...Update: Use the Jingubang Staff with the armor set. The 4 focus dots will only be in phase one.

Really good guide. Worked for me, but for some reason, my attack is only 167. I've got the same setup as you, but yours is 208. Any idea why?

How is your staff spin so fast? Mine is slow and doesn’t give me enough focus.
Make sure your pushing against him during staff spin.
how are ur attacks that high? i’m at level 201 and even using pellets My attacks are near that high.
Build up all focus points and fill the bar next to it for a more powerful slam.
Phase one I can beat without taking any damage but phase 2 I’ve only got him to half health once he just shits all over me
