I recommend using your L2 + R2 Spirit at the start of the second phase because it charges on the amount of damage that you deal so it will be back up for the final hit

I did this strategy on NG4 but with spell binder and pilgrim set to speed up the process. And i agree this is the best strategy hit and run rence and repeat.
glad it can help at any level .. i guess is the way is coded . if u attack like crazy he will do the same .. if you take it more easy he will pose after a red attack ..
@@OLDBOTS I've noticed that a LOT of the bosses in this game behave similarly, particularly with humanoid bosses. I've been able to take off almost half of Yellow Loong's life bar by just standing back and charging to 2 (or 3 with enough time) Focus and interrupting when hes about to attack, over and over. (It only stopped working because the boss will start Seeing Through heavy attacks after he loses so much HP.)
Use the fan to beat down his health, and just before the fan is done , immobilize him and deal more damage then use wander wight to hit him before retreat. First play through he’s so easy to be taken down not much hp. When you are in Ng++, his health bar won’t be demolished that quickly.

i spend so much time on him ufff is crazy .. now on any ng i just go on full vendeta on him .. check my other video i just melt him lol
You can use his ring of fire to charge focus.
yes but still i am not so used to it .. it change the tempo and i cant exploit the frames when the sage stay still!! i am on my third run and it works every single time

Sorry if it didn’t help. Take a break and watch the video again-this game can drive people mad sometimes! The best thing to do is to relax a bit. Also, if you can, record your gameplay and watch it back. You might notice your mistakes or see exactly where and when you miss.
Do you get the wukong stance automatically on Phase 1 of fight?
yes u get it on chapter 6 the all chappter is about that ..

Are you using azure dome and life strand spell? If you use life strand with remigration pill between to extend your life and the the life of your transformation stone monkey. You can use the stone monkey 4 times to chip away his health bit by bit. Also guanyin’s willow leaf for your soak on top of life preservation orb for your curio. You will extend life and use of gourd after revival.
