    Why does every demo want to concentrate on how fast a machine can sew? I'm more interested in how slow it can go and still make it through thick material. SMH

      Yea really! This is a great machine but really needs a pulley speed reduction system for car upholstery or anything detailed.

    I bought a Consew Premier P2339RBLH-18 and we had nothing but problems with this machine since the time we bought it. Consew has been no help. They have no manuals on have to service the machine . I have always own Juki machines and never had any issues. Juki offers resources and support online such as Engineers manuals on how to repair/ service the machine. I would stay away from buying Consew machines. Juki is an all around good machine. Generally In life you get what you pay for. I learned my lesson!

    Mostly good comments here but a few people trashing this machine, I ordered this same machine and the last piece (table) will be here tomorrow. I'm experienced with industrial sewing machines so not expecting too many problems with putting it together. My last machine was from Leathermachineco in California, was a good upholstery machine but about a $1000 more. I chose this one as it fits my budget but now I'm hoping I don't have the problems others posted about here, we'll see. I'll come back in a month or two on how it's going

The oil pan is at the correct level and it's nice and clean looking .Someone said to run the machine for a few min to let the oil circulate? Thanks for the video.

    Is there single feet for the sewing machine for getting closer to the edge on leather and or sewing zippers. Will this machine work well with sewing canvas, heavy canvas, multiple layers, for packs etc. Waxed canvas to be more specific. 15 ounce waxed canvas. to lighter canvas. I have had a consew in the past and used it for light leather my problem was it was way faster than my skill level. Thanks in advice for any help or advice you may have for us.

    Hey, I just got one of these machines, it's great so far! I'm wondering if you could tell me in some detail how to adjust the oiling feature, to make sure it's at the right level. Also, do you know if it can use 207 thread in the bobbin and as well as the top thread? Thanks!

    • @consewfl
      @consewfl  7 лет назад +2

      Hello there Michael! Thanks for getting in touch with us at Consew.
      To answer your questions... Yes, the machine is outfitted to handle a 207 thread just fine for both the bobbin as well as the top thread.
      As for how to adjust the oiling feature to make sure it's at the right level. Check our digital service manual on the machine on our website.
      I will be putting a direct link down below:
      www.consew.com/Files/112347/InstructionManuals/P1206RB.pdf
      -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      In our website you can find anything archived for any of our top of the line machines right under the 'Resources' tab for a wide assortment of machines.
      Hope you found this all very helpful & hope you have a wonderful day.

    I have had my P1206RB for a few months. I love it!! One difference I notice between your demonstration and the way my machine functions is: I ALWAYS have to turn the hand wheel to start sewing. Whether it is light fabric or multiple layers, it will never start stitching without my help. Can you suggest anything to solve this? I have tried to adjust the belt tension however, there is not much leeway because of the motor position. Any help would be greatly appreciated! It would be nice to start stitching with both hands on the fabric. Thank you!

      I bought one yesterday it’s a premier, same serial numbers, but mine has a - 1 on the end is the same machine? and it starts like a champ. I never have to touch the wheel. I’m going back today to the store and I’m going to show him your post. He may know.

      @@JL-mc2dx That’s so nice of you! But my husband and I fixed it. Yay! I changed the hand wheel to a bigger diameter and changed out the pulley thingy on the motor to a bigger diameter and because of those changes, we had to get a longer belt, but it works perfectly now! It starts without me touching the hand wheel at all! I hope you enjoy your Consew for years to come! Thank you again for offering your help!

    Hopefully someone can help me. I have a 1206rb and got it a couple of years ago to do leather work. While stitching with either a 207 or 138 nylon bonded thread and using leather needles, my thread keeps breaking about every 4 inches of stitching or so. Obviously this is a problem and makes me feel like this is more of a boat anchor than sewing machine. I read the owner's manual and as far as I can tell it appears to be adjusted correctly. I have also had to adjust the top thread so tight (bottom is very loose) it is hard to pull any slack in the thread when removing my items yet the knot is in the middle of the material sewed. I use the knee pad to lift the sewing feet to release the material from the sewing machine. Without telling me to look in the owner's manual again, can you suggest what might be wrong or adjusted incorrectly? Area to investigate? I also noticed that you have string threaded thru the bottom of your machine (steel rods tied together)-mine doesn't have that. Thank you in advance for your help.

      I'm also having problems with 207 breaking and skipping. I'm gonna try some 138 tomorrow, but I realized that the manual is insufficient.

    • @blkcc1
      @blkcc1 4 года назад

      @@davemoney6713 Sorry to hear your having the same issue. I also moved to 138 and it didn’t seem to be running at its best still.
      I brought the head to a real sewing machine tech. They replaced the shuttle, cleaned, and adjusted the machine. The main problem was the shuttle. It works like a dream now. Cost about $150.00 total and I would spend it again.
      If I was you I would get a new name brand shuttle ($40.00 +/-) then adjust (time) your machine to the new shuttle. I am temped to believe at least half your issue is shuttle related. I hope this helps or even fixes your problem.

    I bought two of these machines fron two different vendors. I hate them! Noisy, vibrates, jumps tension easily, constant bobbin jams, often jams when I use the reverse, the owner manual is poorly translated and is of limited use. I understand the odds of getting a lemon but to get the same crud from different vendors leads me to believe these machines are better designed to serve as boat anchors.
