- London Blackfriars train station.
About 10 years ago, I got to take an impromptu trip to England. I also visited South Wales and Ireland during this trip. Riding a train as a Canadian from Northern Alberta can only be done on holiday, because there's no such thing as passenger trains here except for the occasional expensive sight seeing ones that tour through the Rocky Mountains to the west coast.

i have not been to London for years, keep thinking about booking a trip one day, enjoy your week
Thanks. you too. I think this was April of 2014 on an impromptu trip to visit the UK. Fun to see, but perhaps not live there.
Went to Iceland last June . That was a really awesome trip. Not as many people. 👍. Wife went with our daughter to see some of Europe, but I’m not too keen on crowded cities. I’m not much for standing in lines.
Iceland would have been awesome. I think I could spend a couple summer months touring there!
Cool short video ❤
I didn't record much during that trip, but there's a few more on the list.
You ever ride a train before? I kinda like them. Fast cruising through the country.
Different than grande prairie.
It's the walking bridge that gives it away....
The bridge you zoomed in on, is the Millennium Bridge, a footbridge built to commemorate the new millennium.
It closed after only two days, due to the swaying when thousands walked across it.
It reopened in 2002 after dampers/hydraulic shock absorbers were added to correct the sway.
I love London's history and architecture, but not too keen on a lot of the people there.
That’s very interesting. I think this was April of 2014 on an impromptu trip to visit the UK. I'm with you about too many people. fun to see, but perhaps not live there. Thanks for your comment.
My wife & I were living in London 99 to 2003. Fab time, you get used to the number of people. It's a city with soooo much history & architecture, so much to see and do, needs years more there to get my head around it. In fact, with our boys now basically men, we could soon be able to head back there (from New Zealand) and try a few more years. (And of course it is just a train ride to Paris, Brussels Amsterdam, crazy.)
@TheClunkingFist right on. Certainly a different vibe than my rural northern Alberta home! What's your preference New Zealand or London? I lived in the UK for 2 years as a young adult and visited New Zealand last November. I loved touring the north Island.
Stay tuned for more my friend and thanks for watching and for your comment.
Absolutely beautiful piece of work and I really appreciate and enjoy watching your lifestyle documentary video channel, keep it up and I'm looking forward to more adventures and keep rocking my friend .. thanks again ..
