It would be interesting if in a world of Alicorns, everyone’s magic was weaker than a typical non-alicorns. If one has larger wings, then they are a better flier but the other two attributes are a bit weaker. Like when Season 1 Twilight explained how her special talent is magic over most unicorns who can do magic, but would have trouble doing the spells she knows. Or something along those lines.

When everyone is an alicorn, everyone is strong, fast, and can learn lots of magic. This may sound really good, but in the wrong hands (or hooves in this case), it can turn REALLY BAD. Example is at 1:42, where a mare was about to unleash catastrophe, because the sundae she ordered didn't have two wafer sticks. Also, if multiple ponies are able to control the sun and moon like at 0:52, it can disrupt climate. And finally, the non-pony creatures in the universe are possibly subject to the pony's rule since the non-pony creatures don't have powers that rival the alicorns. That is why one of the Starlights put the "everypony is an alicorn" universe in the orange category.

One of my favorite moments in the only Alicorn world was the two Alicorns fighting over the sun... and then the cop shows up and the sun just... moves back to its place. The Karen Alicorn is probably my second-favorite bit, especially when her drink is fixed and she just... descends and happily drinks it.
i actually like the idea of non royal alicorns but more of as a like birth defect rather than like everyone having true alicorn magic because like it'd make sense with how actual genetics work, you can have mixing of characteristics

I'd also see if maybe there's a way to reverse engineer the Cutie Pox (or use another method) to enable instant mastery of skills without the negative side effects. It would be like that episode where everyone was made "equal", only this time done the right way. So no one loses, and everyone gains.

Twilight's still new on being an alicorn and Starlight learned even more spells. because she had more time to spear for being alone for so long. proven more that alicorns are no different from normal ponies. they just adapt faster. and that's also a reason why there's a running gag about Starlight being more powerful if alicorn. because she was evenly matched with alicorn Twilight.
