Excellent demonstration! As sailboat owners we can really appreciate the attention to detail you have exhibited.
Thank you so much for this video. The host has taught me so many tricks that will make my next attempt at a cushion cover less stressful. I can't thank you enough.

Thank you for such an informative video, everything and more was covered. Hope to see more videos like this!
I want to learn how to make a channeled case for a goose down and feather cushion for a chaise Longue. I haven't found any sites on RUclips on how to do it. Any suggestions?
Lots of good info! I learned a lot. Thanks.
Great, useful range of videos. What I cannot find is how to box cover a foam boat cushion that has three square edges and one tapered edge - so the top seat surface is bigger than the underneath. Do you have a video that covers that? With a zipper in the tapered side would be even better! Cheers!
What density do you recommend for a window seat cushion at 4" thick? I am considering a Urethane foam sheet @ 1.25 density with 36 IFD. Is that commonly used and is it durable? Thank you for your video!!
Is that a specific sewing table you are using with the LSZ-1 or is it just a typical sewing table that you have adapted to work?
Thanks
@SVSunnyJim If you are asking about the Cutting Mat used with the rotary cutter then they are called just that a "Cutting Mat". Sailrite sells them as part #102990. Go to sailrite.com and enter that part number in a search.
Awesome video, tell me, where would i buy one of those cutting boards. What are they called?
So does she stick the coin on the bed of the Sailrite with something? Thanks for this video I learned a few things.
Thanks for sharing with us!
I love that sewing machine, which make is it?
Shame I don't have a boat :)
Thank you
What type of industrial sewing machine is that? It looks like a nice one. Thanks for your response and very informative video.
Nice video, thanks! I noticed a detail here on the machine, which I haven´t seen before... when she was preparing the zip and fabric to start sewing, she secured the threads to a disc to the right. Is this a magnetic disc and can it be purchased at the Sailrite website? It seems to be a great idea. Thanks, Vanessa
Its is just a nickel or dime coinage taped to the bed of the sewing machine to help hole the thread tails in place.
The table top and legs you see in the video is part 100547 found at the sailrite.com Our table top and stand includes the top, the rubber hinge pads, the hinges, and the drawer. If you only want the table top (alone) it is part 100543
Yes, the coin is taped to the bed of the sewing machine to hold the thread tails.
The sewing machine we used for this video is the Sailrite Ultrafeed LSZ-1. It is found at sailrite.com and is part number 102600.
Was this piping cut on the bias?
The piping used in this video is pre-fabricated, but yes it is cut on the bias by the manufacture.
About the best method for dummys like me, thats so much really good video
