Hoagie Buns

Homemade Hoagie Buns are a game changer for sub sandwiches. They only have 1 1/2 hours proof time total, but you can have soft, flavorful, beautiful hoagie rolls. I made some delicious meatballs subs with these, but literally every sandwich is a game changer with these.
Hoagie Bun:
1 cup milk
2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoon yeast
3 cups bread flour
2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
4 tablespoons butter
1 egg white + 1 tablespoon water for egg wash
1 hour proof, shape, and proof an additional 30 minutes.
400° F 15-20 Minutes
