Hot Infused Olive Oil Buratta (With Garlic, Lemon, Shallots, and Chili Flakes)
This is my dream appetizer (or honestly, just a lunch). If you love bread, olive oil, and cheese like me, you have to try this. A hot infused olive oil poured over creamy burrata cheese and served with some lightly toasted fresh sourdough. You can customize your olive oil, but I made it with shallots, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, sundried tomato, and chili flakes and finished with some fresh basil. Pour it over some fresh burrata cheese and spread it on toasted thick cut sourdough.
Recipe:
Burrata Cheese
Bread, cut into thick slices
Toasted in 400°F Oven for 10-12 Minutes
Infused Oil:
1 Shallot
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 lemon Zest
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 cup olive oil

@shumailasarwar it's a seasoning salt blend in the grocery store that has onion, paprika, garlic ect seasonings. It's a favorite of mine! You can just use regular salt as well though 😊

Why always salted butter?
@maxchico4 I just prefer it. Salt always brings out the best flavors of everything, and I never buy unsalted butter. There are a lot of people who get on their soap box about having to use unsalted, especially in baking, and I just rebel and disagree 😂

What was the reason for pouring from a spoon?
Hello! I touch on it in the description box, but it spreads the liquid out into a wider surface area, so it helps it to float. If you pour directly in, the liquid will sink in, and it won't create the layers we want for this drink.

If you rub them meat with mustard on the outside of the meat the season will stick on there much better.
@@MikeJones69696 Yes, I do not like mustard on this style of pork loin, and the seasoning stuck just fine because the loin is not dry. It is a great way if you are interested in a mustard flavor on the loin though! Thanks @MikeJones69696
