Very nice room. I agree with Casey, who wants to cook on vacation. Going out to eat is part of the fun! When I go on vacation, the room is just for sleeping and bathing. I am hardly ever there. Most people do not want to be stuck in a hotel room. Rooms like that are nice, but there is a lot of over kill. Leave the room to explore and have fun, which is what vacation is all about.

Stayed at both copper creek and Boulder ridge on the same trip. We absolutely preferred copper creek. Absolutely loved it!

After staying at Wilderness myself now, I get what you mean - it was so beautiful. Yes, I remember the wine glasses 😅 wow, that room was incredible!! So much space.
Absolutely LOVE WILDERNESS LODGE! Brings back so many great memories from our May Trip! We did the private fireworks cruise from there and now my son never wants to watch fireworks any other way! So many awesome places to eat and CHILL! We were spoiled with a view of the castle from our room and the Club Level snacks all day. Will be very difficult to do anything else! We stayed at a 1 bedroom at wilderness in august 2020. Disney upgraded us to this since our original resort port orleans riverside was not open. Love this resort!

Wilderness Lodge is literally my dream resort... like if money were no object... that's where I would stay! Glad to see it up close and personal. As well as the DVC rooms!

Kyle. Is it possible for you to have a special vlog on what happens when the park closes? For instance since you worked in the HM, how do cast members prepare for closing? Would this be permitted by Disney? I thought viewers might be interested as to behind the scenes. Just a suggestion

He probably has some type of language disorder. My daughter is dyslexic and mispronounces things a lot. You could be nice and just realize that and move on.
This is pretty close to my home "resort" for me. My home "resort" is the Fort Wilderness campgrounds. Growing up, we'd always bring our camper and camp at the campground. Lots of good memories there!
Love staying at Wilderness Lodge last time we stayed there we where on the sixth floor and had a fireworks view facing the magic kingdom also stayed there in a 1bedroom villa with my friends that are DVC members but the couch to sleep on is very uncomfortable Disney needs to get a better mattress! Next want to stay in one the cabins

The corner small raised “bench” in your shower, I believe it’s a place to help ladies shave legs in the shower. I think I’m correct, you put your foot on that triangle to shave legs. That’s a great room , great view and beautiful place. Thanks for sharing. 👍

Your connecting room would be a studio to make it a lock off two bedroom and the low bench in shower is to put your foot on while you shave your legs.

Our most favorite resort! Stay there every year! We stay on the same room abd use Davids DVC to buy points. The Washer/Dryer is a game changer.

I stayed here like 2 years ago and I had a view of the pool with the slide and it was one of the funnest trips ever.
Love this! It must be because we are both previous Wisconsinites but Wilderness (actually Boulder Ridge) is my favorite resort. Makes me feel like I’m Home. P.S. From someone who is old enough to be your mom, Casey is a keeper!!

The Wilderness Lodge always looks so nice to me but I live in the northwest and so it’s something I pretty much see. But I do love Gran Destino I’ve been there many times and I don’t think I’ll ever change my hotel and go somewhere else. I am tempted to book the Polynesian, but I just don’t know if it’s worth the price I’ve stayed there once and I loved it but the price is so high nowadays that it just seems silly! But I’m so glad you too. Enjoy the wilderness Lodge. it is truly a beautiful resort.💕

Just got off the Wonder of the sea. Chile, I need a vacation from Royal Caribbean. I spent over three grand while on the cruise, and now I’m staying at the Drury Inn Disney now, and it’s wonderful Thank the Lord! Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge was excellent food and service.

Interesting you mentioned 'Copper Creek' as that is a hotel destination in Alaska by the Princess Cruise Line by taking one of their Land/Sea vacations. I did & Copper Creek is IN THE WILDERNESS. One of the stops on the 'land' portion travel via motorcoach.

Casey is correct, Kyle. It's the Electrical Water PAGEANT.
They no longer have a boat from Wilderness Lodge to the Wilderness Campground. They no longer do boats between resorts.

@kyle Pallo - What is your recommendation for a weekend waterpark in the Dells for June 2023? I typically go to Mt. Olympus but according to their website, it looks like the indoor park is closed for most of May/ June with no explanation. What would you recommend for a backup?
Speaking of mac and cheese have you had macs over in the wis dells? There are a few in the dells area and Madison. It is crazy good.

My husband and I stayed at Wilderness Lodge for our Honeymoon in 1995. We stayed 7 nights, had park hopper tickets, and the Food & Fun card. All for $1600! Back then, the Food and Fun Card included gratuities. The staff member knew that the more you ordered, the higher their tip. Food overload!
Kyle I felt every time when you said this is your favorite resort. This and Animal Kingdom are mine.

Your room looked beautiful -- so spacious, and the food looked really yummy. I never stayed at Wilderness Lodge, but would definitely love to one day. For the few time we've been in Florida, our family stayed at the Polynesian. That seems to be our "go to" resort. Thanks for taking us along on your mini staycation.
