Hey I'm a 3d modeler I can make you you own kaiju if you want. You can provide me the information on the creatures bio, powers, etc. Just give me a reply back and I can give you more information.
My two cents is that Shin's charge up for his beam is over-exaggerated here. In the movie, when the beam concentrates, that's him learning to use the beam - adapting. When Shin uses his beam in the rest of the film it only takes a second or two to activate.
You also forgot to mention the first time he had done it, like this film mentions, the first time he used his Atomic Heat Ray he expended far too much energy and had to "warm up" again to even move around, which this video did cover somewhat, also by the time the final confrontation rolled around he had adapted to be able to not only sustain but manage his energy as well as a larger reservoir of said energy
I think being the king of the monsters, Legendary Godzilla can actually notice Shin’s evolution after the moment when he is born. So Legendary will kill Shin and destroy his body as fast as Legendary can.
How they’d interact with one another definitely interests me. Shin is relatively unresponsive. If anything Shin would probably ignore Legendary. Legendary roars at him and gets no response, it’d be like trying to talk to a corpse.
Yeah, Shin pretty much only has beef with humanity and not anything else, if something stood in thier way then they would either ignore it or destroy it, and with Shin's rapid evolution my money is on Shin
Shin Godzilla could technically be the strongest version of a live action Godzilla we’ve ever seen since it can evolve to overcome almost any situation it’s put in
it depends what its fighting. I think this video idea is cool, but kinda dumb at the same time. Shin evolved to fight humans. In that state he would obviously lose. But, if given time to evolve, he would obviously win. There is no point in watching this or the part 2 lol. Its that simple.
Okay but consider: Shin doesn't submit to Legend and just stands there being a derp. Legend surmises that Shin isn't being disrespectful, but just doesn't know any better because they are a literal infant. Legend then adopts Shin.
About resistance: The 2 rockets, that you call in a quite strange matter, are actually called “Bunker Busters”, which, as you see in the name, were capable to dig straight to the bunkers under the ground. Also another thing about resistance: Although Godzilla did tank a nuke, it only powered him up, so it’s not really of a resistance feat, but durability
I find it interesting how these two are exact opposites of each other. The Legendary Godzilla is the guardian of the Earth, he keeps the planet stable and prevents creatures that would generate overpopulation like the MUTOS from wiping out the planet, of course very much for his own survival, and he can eventually decide that humanity is a threat and to destroy for the good of the planet. Meanwhile the Shin Godzilla is an abomination created by humanity that will not stop evolving and growing, it will keep evolving, when it is broken it will multiply and will not stop until it has nothing more to be destroyed, creating an overpopulation of monsters that would end everything and maybe even themselves.
@@Hati-Gojira Yes Shin was created by humanity because it was initially a cluster of microorganisms that started to unite and feed on nuclear waste thrown into the sea by humans.
It's also worth noting that if they actually fought, humans would likely be fighting on Legendary's side. They could provide as many nukes as needed to give him the power boost and help him regenerate. Shin was technically defeated by humans, so it's not like our help would be useless.
something of note; legendary can literally sense kaiju from across the globe. Even their corpses. Like when they were making the ghidorah based mechagodzilla, he showed up to destroy it a few times. Taking this incredibly fine tuned sense to its logical extreme; no amount of playing dead would work on him because hed instantly sense youre RECOVERING not DYING. And so hed just like, keep tearing shin apart until he stopped sensing that.
@@mzamethodman7134 i think LG still can sense him as a threat, atleast if shin godzilla regenerating there is a high chance LG will execute it(his pride doesnt get on his way with ghidorah)
@@ebutuoytikcus4352 in one of the godzilla movies king ghidorah was found in ice and was still alive the original commentor mentioned that if shin started regenerating/wasnt really defeated godzilla would know it goes to reason that godzilla's "power" of knowing where kaijus are/status of them is limited in some aspect because otherwise why could he not sense that king ghidorah was not truly defeated?
@@holycow2013 I think you’re just being nitpicky here pal. After all Godzilla fought very different enemies in KOTM and GvK. So the moves aren’t gonna be the same
Shin Godzilla is by far my favorite iteration of Godzilla from a "Movies are art" standpoint. Sure we don't see him in any bombastic fight scenes but the movie and its portrayal of Japan's government and the fact that Shin Goji seems to be in a constant state of pain and fear make it incredibly unique and interesting.
@@thedukeofchutney468 I believe the design was perfect, being a slightly scary spin on the far back original It makes it feel more like an animal or fish to me, considering that’s all shin really is I’m not sure what other design would have fit
The thing is, while we DON'T know what Shin Godzilla would evolve into to counter Legendary Godzilla, we DO know that Legendary Godzilla is absurdly intelligent and a very good tactician in battle, which can make all the difference here. SUPPOSING he observes that Shin Godzilla tends to overheat after deploying its nuclear beams and has to shut down for a while and supposing he observes Shin Godzilla's extreme regenerative abilities, it stands to reason that Legendary Godzilla would figure out exactly what we realized: that the only way to KILL it is to destroy the entire thing in one go. That being the case, Legendary Godzilla would be capable of finding a way to accomplish that. Let's remember that Shin Godzilla is NOT invincible to damage from heat or weapons - he adapts to them but the answer to missile attacks that penetrated and hurt it was to fire beams that knocked the drones out of the sky, NOT to become better armored, so it stands to reason that its answer to Legendary Godzilla's relentless and brutal pummeling would MOST LIKELY be similar - to develop more countermeasures to try to keep him at bay. This is not an intelligent creature - in fact it's really pretty mindless - so it's playing go fish while Legendary Godzilla is playing advanced chess. NOW, we do know that Legendary Godzilla has the ability to VERY rapidly absorb enormous amounts of radiation which can 1. allow him to regenerate faster, 2. Allow him to GROW in size and strength (as seen in King of the Monsters) and 3. Allow him to CHANNEL that power to attack with a nuclear pulse. Note that Mothra's sacrifice is NOT needed to use the pulse - the only thing THAT did was to STABILIZE Godzilla as his nuclear core was going crazy and going into meltdown state (we don't actually know for sure if Godzilla would have actually been killed if meltdown had occurred, however). HOWEVER if you ARE taking Shin Godzilla into consideration AFTER the adaptation that allowed him to fire beams from the dorsal plates and tail, then you ALSO have to use Legendary Godzilla AFTER the Mothra sacrifice just to make sure you're using the strongest CURRENT form for each. Godzilla CAN at that point absorb MORE radiation, grow further AND use nuclear pulse. It need not be from an atomic bomb - that's more of a jump start to a car - the only REASON the nuke became a problem was because he absorbed ALL of that point blank AFTER having had the oxygen destroyer used on him which had effectively sapped his body of its normal ability to tolerate such things (after all, in 1954 humanity dropped a massive nuke on Legendary Godzilla very nearby to him and it did NOT kill him at all OR make him go nuclear critical - the Castle Bravo nuke would CERTAINLY have had a bigger yield than the tiny one used at point blank in King of the Monsters) - had he NOT just taken the Oxygen Destroyer to the face (which had KILLED Godzilla in the original 1954 film, proving how much more sturdy this version is) he wouldn't have NEEDED Mothra's sacrifice to absorb the nuclear radiation from the bomb without going into critical mode. What this MEANS is that Godzilla can observe Shin Godzilla's regeneration and adaptive abilities, use that intelligent mind of his and quickly work out that it is imperative that he destroys the ENTIRE thing NOW rather than let the battle drag on. Legendary Godzilla CAN use the pulse - and what's more, since he ABSORBS radiation and uses it as fuel, that ALSO means he can absorb Shin Godzilla's radiation - possibly directly from the nuclear beam which IS condensed nuclear plasma. That leaves the question: can Legendary Godzilla emit enough destructive heat energy with is pulse to DESTROY the body of Shin Godzilla entirely? Honestly? Probably. He destroyed King Ghidorah (aside from one head, and keep in mind he would learn from this experience to destroy EVERYTHING next time) using the pulse and if you watch that scene, he is emitting SO MUCH heat while in that "burning godzilla" state that solid steel structures some distance away are MELTING as if someone were holding a 2,000 degree blowtorch to a stick of butter. That indicates - in order to melt that rapidly - that Legendary Godzilla is capable of emitting heat that reaches into the millions of degrees - we're talking the temperature you'd expect in parts of the SUN in order to melt steel from that distance that QUICKLY just by being in the general area. Shin Godzilla's skin is tough but NOTHING organic is going to survive that kind of heat, which is precisely what happened with Ghidorah - he literally just evaporated away right before your eyes DESPITE having been proven to be able to easily withstand the most powerful weapons humanity had to offer with NO damage whatsoever. If Legendary Godzilla were dumber he might give Shin enough time and enough chances to evolve into something he couldn't beat, but this version of Godzilla is human-like in its intelligence. He even CHUCKLED when he hit Kong with his beam and saw him fall - which demonstrates that there is a calculating and pretty vicious mind in there. Not only that, he INSTANTLY recognized that Kong's axe was made from a Godzilla dorsal plate, could absorb energy and deal more damage after only seeing it used against him ONCE - and in the middle of battle realized he could arm Kong to defeat Mechagodzilla by hitting that axe head with his beam. This demonstrates the ability to plan ahead and execute strategic moves in battle in a way many HUMANS wouldn't be able to. If he can figure that out that quickly, he can definitely figure out the way in which he needs to defeat Shin Godzilla to make his death permanent after only seeing him regenerate/ evolve once, twice at most. I don't think one or two evolutions would be enough for Shin to become completely immune to Legendary's power so....I'd give the battle to him. ESPECIALLY if there is a nuclear reactor nearby to drain of power for a super charge.
@@northernalpine4350 and then burn through its energy again and go back into hibernation..... You forgot to mention that bit, shin has a very reliable ability to not know what the fuck he just got and instantly burning all is energy on it or evolving something else to counter himself because he can't use it properly like when he got legs then realised a tail would help....then got he's breath and burned through it all and needed a nap..... Legendary wouldn't be sitting around while he be sleeping lmao
@@northernalpine4350 you gotta think of evolution and energy as an energy bar, and everything from blasts to regeneration take far more for shin than legendary, and legendary starts the fight with more options l, whereas shin has to evolve, wasting energy. a massive factor overlooked is stamina, LG has shown to have quite an impressive amount of stamina as seen in his final fight between Kong and Mecha-Godzilla. He can be seen starting the fight at night and it all ending by morning meaning that he would've been fighting for several hours (and this isn't even taking into account the damage he took or how he had to fight two opponents back to back.) Where as Shin was seen going dormant after using his atomic breath a lot which would mean that its mentality isn't to fight smart but to just throw whatever it can at its foe, and based on LG stats alone it would most likely throw everything it has at him since it wouldn't be effective up close. Lastly I believe the moment Shin uses all its energy and goes dormant one of two things would happen. 1. LG would thing its dead and leave or it would sense that it is still alive and attack until nothing is left. Quick side note, i noticed that people kept bringing up the fact that LG would absorb the radiation coming from Shin, so if it were to go dormant to regenerate its atomic energy, would having LG close by slow down that process or even halt it all together. Last note This was posted before I watched the rematch video
The thing is shin doesn't have a fight mentality. It's doing what it can to defend itself while being in constant excruciating pain. Even using its atomic breath puts it in a lot of pain. The whole point of shin is he is evolving so fast that his body is tearing itself apart faster than he can heal, hence the constant pain.
Legendary wouldn’t hinder Shin’s fusion reactions. It’s a chemical reaction happening on its own. It gives off radiation and heat as a byproduct. Legendary wouldn’t hinder Shin, but Shin, especially if torn open, would give off enough radiation to feed Legendary Godzilla.
shin is also more of a defender godzilla, thats what happened in the movie, it didn't know what to do and it just kinda walked around as it was in constant pain but it keep evolving and yk started destroying everything, it was defending itself
Keep in mind that the Shin we see evolved in a world without other Titans. Now, what would it look like in a world where it was forced to evolve to counter any Titan? It's 4th form in that world would be devastating. Its potential is quite literally limitless, going so far as to become god in one of the concepts. The omnipotent ruler of its own universe.
I don’t think a Shin type could survive in a world with other titans. Shin was very squishy in its earlier forms, only really developing stronger hide due to slamming into things constantly. Other titans would break them apart and feed on them, especially since they possess high radiation
@@julianskilton200 I suppose they could. Shin could amass an entire army of titans that way all controlled by the cells they ingested. He might even fully replace the body of some. Though, I'm pretty sure he'd grow the stronger hide much sooner than he did in his movie, so it wouldn't come to the Titan Zombie apocalypse.
@@kingofflames738 That's a pretty large assumption that it would be able to control Titans that eat it. It can evolve a tough protective exterior hide as a response to attacks, but that doesn't mean that its cells would survive the destructive conditions within the digestive tract of a Titan. Aside from that, the required biological behavior to somehow take control of a creature is something completely different to develop , and there isn't really any pressure toward developing such an ability. Its biological adaptive responses are straightforward, developing passive defenses to attacks (in its morphology of shape and traits), and offensive responses to defeat threats (like the atomic beams and breath).
I see you have heard of the director of Shin Godjirra/Godzilla's original plans too, leave it to the guy who came up with Neon Genesis Evangelion to go the step beyond in concept (at least when not being super depressed, then results may vary)
Hardly it would eventually collapse in on itself, or evolve in such a way it is detrimental to itself, and even though shin constantly evolves he stays fleshy.. and if shin evolves using atomic breath, honestly it will probs mutate titan level cancer due to its out of control evolution, it will eventually become too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing.
For the record, Shin's dorsals aren't a weakness. Those were bunker busters designed to go through like 20 feet of concrete. The fact that they didn't go straight through shin is insane
bro bunker busters are basically concentrated nukes, they can wipe out up to like 60+ meters of pure extra thick layers of concrete, these bunker busters though were like the size of small planes so it could probably dig out 300+ meters of concrete, and it took multiple of them just to break out 1 dorsal plate, then shin regenerated it instantly
first time i ever heard of a 'US ton', thought a ton was a ton, haha they will use anything but actual metrics huh , well you learn something new everyday, great video 👍
The one thing I would mention in the match-up is Shin's inherent handicap, he is more based in reality than Legendary is. Even in the film they state that it shouldn't be able to leave the water due to it's size and crush under it's own weight, but due to it's unique makeup, some part of it's physiology gets around this. It's movement even alludes to this; slow, plodding, and deliberate. All of it's attacks are therefore also highly effective, nothing is wasted. The phase array also lends to this idea. Legendary is really given all the leeway in what he does, similar to how Godzilla normally would be. He is a combatant and a brawler, and is also already King of Monsters.
“but due to its unique makeup, some part of its physiology gets around this” Just because you believe the bs babble the movie feeds you does not by any means make Shin more realistic than Legendary….just says you have no fucking clue how far from reality both of them are…
@@coluftonmcgerbergerber3116 It is said that shin's DNA was 8x better than the human DNA, so it's evolution can be done way faster, it's like monkey turning into human but sped up. So yes very logical.
The more I think about it, the more I realize how terrifying Shin is. Since he is a strange creature, he can evolve extremely quickly. If he gets hurt, then it only means he'll keep evolving, and who knows how would he look like. If humans didn't use a nuke, this creature would be unkillable and would also be the end of humanity
Shin WAS the end of humanity in the original concept or script and eventually became the god of it's own universe but for reasons regarding length or something like that we are left with the Movie as it currently is
@@Yuki_Ika7 the movie was meant to be a remake of the original gojira it was never meant to have shin become a universe. That concept wasn't even included in then production of the movie
I think they could have used more thought when analyzing Shin Godzilla’s atomic breath. They took the initial development, the evolution of it, as the process of it using it instead of looking at how it uses it later, where it pulls it out in an instant because it knows how to use it now.
Personally, this overlooks the biggest factors of both versions. Shin's evolution is fueled by the atomic reaction that's constantly going on inside it, Legendary feeds on radiation and regenerates faster while feeding, making Shin essentially an all you can eat buffet for Legendary, that alone gives the edge to Legendary, as he would be able to siphon off radiation to both slow/halt regeneration and prevent further evolution.
Not to mention because of Legendary's cunning he would stand there and not attempt attacking after initial trial and error. Therefore he would have him evolve once and then absorb the radiation and then counter with such force shin would not be able to adapt and overload to death as it would be his own force times whatever Legendary Godzilla chose to be correct for the kill. And Shin only has instinct so he would not see it coming at all and would keep attacking until Legendary counters.
@@madmaxiemartialartsnerd485 He took a nuke to the face in King of Monsters, literally the kind of device that introduced the world to the idea of weaponised radiation, and it acted like a Full Restore for him

At first I really thought you guys were just gonna mostly ignore Shin’s biggest strength, that being his constant evolution, but I was pleasantly surprised when the entire last part of the video was talking about how Shin could literally just continue evolving and that it’s basically inconclusive overall due to so many “What if” factors. Very well done.

Aight I get all of the research and all that, but people realize, we're talking about a constantly evolving constantly regenerating constantly reviving creature vs a big fire lizard...
and yet is not his full form and can even adapt and evolve to the enviroment and situation like the film , where he comes from an aquatic creature to be the monster we all know
Even if Shin does evolve..it’ll only take a few days. Hell, even weeks, months, and EVEN YEARS depending on what he’s facing. It took Shin 2 weeks to counter humanity. It’ll at-least take a year or so for Shin to EVOLVE just to fight Godzilla. “Regenerating constantly” his regeneration is not going to help if he’s still going to die continuously…Godzilla has to be an idiot to not disintegrate his cells, which Godzilla did after going Burning against Ghidorah, which he checked on Ghidorah’s corpse, saw one of the heads moving. Caught it in his mouth. Charged his heat ray. And disintegrated for good. Something he’ll be able to do to Shin without a doubt
Let's be honest here. If we're talking about actual lore and facts the fact is that Shin is evolution incarnate. Meaning if legendary does manage to knock em down, Shin is going to keep evolving to beat his enemy. The humans had to freeze him down to the molecular level just to stop his evolution that would definitely have taken over the world. Look up Shin's evolution video done by MindHQ, you'll see how Shin would have became the most powerful Godzilla in existence.
I’m actually not too sure how Legendary would react in regarded to Shins supposed defiance, since unlike Ghidorah or Kong who actively challenged him to the end, Shin is relatively, … unresponsive. Assuming after the end of phase 1 we get a scene similar to in GvK where Legendary is attempting to establish dominance once more, it would probably go similar to what happened vs Kong since even though Shin would likely be unresponsive, Legendary might consider this to be enough since Shin isn’t in a position to fight him again immediatly. But if Shin isn’t completely depleted in this state and attempts to fire while downed then Legendary might just turn around and blast it full force. So really I think this depends a lot of how the fight starts off and how depleted Shin ends up in the very likely scenario it is physically overpowered initially.
Fascinating take! "I don't have to dominate that guy, he's big but uh... he's really not doing anything, just kinda squishing stuff along the way and hell I do that all the time (sorry)."
I personally think LGodzilla might not see it as another Titan. I think it would go like the first simulation in the video but as the video said LGodzilla has fought something like this before and has been shown the ability to learn so in my opinion it comes down to will LGodzilla try to vaporise Sgodzilla or will Sgodzillas adaptations be enough to beat LGodzilla. I believe LGodzilla can vaporise SGodzilla but can he win the second In counter to get the chance
"Resistance" I think Legendary Godzilla is more reactive mentally, and doesn't like being shot at. It didn't seem to take any damage from the hits, but the hits irritated it, whereas Shin didn't care.
Little mistake that I want to point: Shin Godzilla doesn't need time to charge fully his Atomic Breath. Yeah, on the first time that he uses it, he needed a little time to charge it to his full power, but in the final assault, Shin Godzilla uses his Atomic Breath at his full power since the beginning, probably because in the meantime between fights he evolved to use this ray more efectively.
Yeah but that doesn't matter since legendary is much more durable and he will withstand it and if we being real, legendary atomic breath is stronger cuz it has so many feats and shin only destroyed couple buildings
@@ademmer6245 Yes, and no, it's true that Goji could tank it, but actually that feat of the buildings it's pretty remarkable, I mean, he cut all the buldings like a hot knife through butter, it has more cutting power that all atomic breaths of other Godzilla incarnations, and probably been the third most powerful (If you ask, the second one will be Minus One and the first one Legendary and I think they are pretty near). They are wrong about Shin needing to charge every time? Yeah. The result of GojiCenter is still right? Yeah too.
@@josemiguelcalahuchenoriega even if shin would charged it up faster, legendary will still dodge since he's the faster of the two and the aiming of shin godzilla is so slow since his neck is stiff
Shin's charge up time is only for the first usage of the ability since he is just adapting, all follow up beams were fired quickly and consecutively. Also, if I remembered correctly, in the initial sketch of Shin Godzilla, one of it future (ultimate?) form, Shin would have an entire galaxy or universe growing inside it to use as energy (this is from the guy who made Evangelion after all). Hence the "Shin = New/True/God" in Shin Godzilla. So I would say that if Legendary don't beat him in one or two rounds then it basically GG, since Shin would keep scaling in power level until he become an actual God.
One thing to take into account about legendary is that the axe that penetrated it was made from the dorsal of Godzilla that one of the previous Kong's had grabbed and fashioned into an axe
Love this vid, love these two Gojis. Shin is literally a reincarnation of the fear man's meddling can cause, whereas Legendary is the being Godzilla grew to represent. Both are powerhouses, but they spring from very different concepts of what it means to be a monster. Great vid Goji Center, love your content but this is a really great one.
It's weird that we don't get an acknowledgement of legendary's apparent ability to literally absorb nuclear radiation and that Shin's breath pure radiation (which was noted during the scenes showing the radioactivity of the areas he breathed his breath in) which should theoretically boost Legendary.
wouldn't it hurt him as well tho? Cause ur right, the radiation would make him stronger, it is also an exrtremely hot beam being shot at him. If anything, if Shin shot first I think Legendary would have a hyge hole through his chest.
Remember in the fight against MechaGodzilla, the A-74 Proton Scream hurt LG and even overpowered LG's own atomic breath (Albeit, this was a weakened LG). If Shin's beam is more powerful than that, LG would very well die after tanking the heat and power of it for a short duration. LG only feeds off/absorbs radiation, but if concentrated enough, it can still hurt him. Now Shin also shuts down after using his beam(s) and can also only use them for a few seconds. If LG can survive the initial damage, there is now a stationary hyper-nuclear Shin standing right in front of him. LG would sense that Shin is still alive and he wouldn't walk away but continue his attack. In the case of that scenario, that's the only way I could see LG absorbing a meaningful amount of radiation from Shin. LG goes thermonuclear after that, and atomic pulses Shin to ash.
@@MatthewMorganReddwood The beam from MG was cutting buildings like butter just like Shin Godzilla and LG was shot by a much powerful beam as it was clashing with MG and LG tanked it pretty well.
Remember, a lot of Shin’s physical issues are due to 3 things, physical instability, mental instability, and rapid conversion from a fish to a terrestrial biped. Shin is in a state of constant change and is unable to stay in one state for long. While this does allow it to adapt to any situation quickly, it also results in sub optimal bodily structures. Not only is shin unintelligent, but it is also implied to be in a constant state of pain and stress, further reducing its capacity for higher thought and reducing its sanity. Finally, Shin rapidly went from a fish, to a semi aquatic reptile, to a terrestrial biped. This resulted in extreme errors in Shins internal and external anatomy.
Considering Legendary Goji feeds on Radiation, and Shin creates and maintains radiation as its driving force of energy, literally becoming inert when depleted.... Then once Legendary kills Shin, wouldn't he just feed off the radiation? Its there and free for the taking. And with its energy already low from the battle, Legendary feeding off whatever is left would just leave Shin completely powerless to adapt or regenerate. Killing him for good. As he cannot evolve with his radiation depleted or blocked. Even if Legendary leaves the battle site, we see in the monsterverse comics that many of the other Titans are VERY opportunistic about sources of radiation. Scylla even briefly challenged Godzilla over a radiation source squabble when she had just submitted to him at the end of KOTM. After the fight I don't see Shin surviving long enough to power back up enough to evolve further. Whether or not Legendary feeds on Shin's lingering radiation to help heal his own wounds as he used to in his lair, or other titans come and scavenge on him, Shin is likely to become a feeding ground for the Titans. The Muto's themselves use a very similar method, abet via as a parasite rather than direct predation. And many other Titans have builds that suggest that when their kind were plentiful, predation was a very likely source of radiation intake. Legendary Godzilla is described as an alpha Predator for a reason.
Legendary might probably stay around the defeated Shin just to feed on that radiation and if Shin starts to noticeably evolve and move in this time he’s getting stomped on
The outcome I forsee if we allow outside forces is that Legendary Godzilla always ends up with humanity as an ally, while Shin is 100% humanity's enemy. They'd likely find a way to amp Legendary again and allow him to incinerate Shin. Otherwise, it does depend on how well Shin can adapt and continue to regenerate, or if Legendary can find a way to torch Shin sufficiently.
Basically Shin Godzilla can't die, and has limitless potential to become anything necessary to counter its current opponent, thus making the battle essentially impossible to predict since Shin itself is inherently unpredictable
Shin is actually extremely predictable . Shoot it? More skin. burn it? Magical cooling. Blow it up? Regeneration. Meltdown his core? cooling again. Pierce him? How? Smash him? If he didn't instantly evaporate his own bones when walking with THAT weight I don't think something like that works. Basically use something that makes him vulnerable to something else then use what he just became vulnerable to. If he theoretically didn't already become immune to that.
@@blahajkitern I think a really strong nuke would work, because shin depends on its nuclear reactor for energy, how are you going to survive if your source of energy has been vaporized?

One thing is to be considered: since Shin Godzilla is a walking radiation monster, would/could Legendary Godzilla feed off of it? If so, this definitely boosts him soooo much more. In fact, when he's "juiced up" he could turn thermonuclear (mothra is already inside Legendary Godzilla) and thats a straight win.

Also, any time he shed skin, the tissue would start evolving into another creature. It’s in the deleted scenes where a piece of his tissue falls revealing fish like eyes.
Personally i think the winner will depend on whether Legendary finishes off Shin's "corpse" down to the cells or not. Legendary just has too many advantages over Shin: superior Strength, Atomic breath, durability, speed and experience. However, Shin beats Legendary in terms of healing and coupled with adaptation. Pieces of him were threatning to turn into other Godzillas when given time, which was a literal plot point in the movie. Considering Legendary doesn't usually destroy his enemies' corpses and just leaves, it's possible he could make the mistake of not scorchig Shin's mauled body, allowing it to grow and adapt to become something that will come back to bite Legendary's ass. . Conclusion, the winner will completely depend if Legendary destroys or not Shin's body in it's entirety. Unless of course he has Burning form.
With all this talk of Shin's ability to evolve, maybe it would be fun to speculate what this hypothetical fifth form would need to defeat Legendary. Probably more combat capable arms for one thing.
He would've probably adapted a more melee oriented build sacrificing his ranged capabilities I'm thinking Orga from G 2000 Millennium is a good estimate to the build
I after seeing shin, I kinda wanted to see it turn into a Ghidorah. Like if a piece was split and came back as a separate monster. Or it was in the process of splitting off into 3 godzilla. It doesn't even need to fly
The ultimate outcome of this face off (to me) seems to come down to which happens first: Legend figuring out you can’t just beat Shin to death to kill it and you actually have to completely vaporize it or Shin evolving to a point that Legend just can’t beat it It seems to me like whichever of those occurs first will decide who wins the final round
There’s no “or shin evolving to a point legend can’t beat it” Goji center has already established that godzilla would definitely win the initial fight against shin and would be injured after it. these 3 scenarios are very likely to happen after the battle. 1. Godzilla is injured and decides to feed off of shin Godzilla’s insane amount of radiation, which heals his wound, powers him up, and possibly could turn him into burning Godzilla which he would incinerate shin Godzilla if he still sees him as a threat. Either way he’s still gonna melt even if Godzilla doesn’t attack. 2. Godzilla notices that the creature that he just fought and “killed” is still emitting radiation and biofeedback, he then process’s it as a threat as kaiju’s could be attracted to this area and feed on shin Godzilla which would be bad cause they would be powered up and could possibly defeat Godzilla. Or he notices it that it’s still alive and thinks that it’s a kaiju with regenerative property’s, either way in both situations godzilla blasts him. 3. Godzilla leaves the body, and other kaiju run towards a meal. Now shin has to fight multiple kaiju as these kaiju see him as a gigantic meal/ source of radiation.
The moment I saw this pair up, I knew it wasn’t going to be a Legendary Goji win. Shin is… horrifying to comprehend. The only reason it *could* be stopped in it’s movie is because there wasn’t another monster forcing it to evolve in ways that would enhance it’s speed and melee abilities. Shin is, eventually, less a monster that must be defeated and more an extinction event that must be delayed permanently. Legendary Goji having the tendency to leave something behind of his enemy’s corpse, intentionally or not, has already bitten him on the tail once. Without Kong’s interference Mecha Godzilla absolutely would’ve killed him. As mentioned, the same thing happens here. You can technically defeat Shin, but unless you’re very careful you can not actually *kill* him. And what doesn’t kill him only makes him stronger. Even with some misunderstandings (the charge up time being from inexperience, not a natural limitation, etc.) it… just doesn’t matter. Shin keeps coming until you find a silver bullet he hasn’t adapted to yet.
@@anjelousmoonwolf1940 It's because he can't just "shed" it. They used a coagulant on his blood to shut his bio-reactor down completely. His *entire body* is frozen, hence why the human-scale monstrosities he was morphing into were still frozen despite breaking out of the surface. Not only is he frozen but because the reactor is shut down entirely, he can't "restart" until he receives a sizeable injection to kickstart his bio reactor, since a cold fusion start is still several evolutions away.
not very valid arguments. Legendary makes sure they are dead when he leaves them behind, considering he knows the status and location of kaiju at all times it wouldnt be surprising if legendary found out he wasnt actually dead soon, also legendary was fighting a robot designed to counter him in a lot of ways, while having just left a fight that lasted hours with kong and using his beam to blow a hole through earth miles down. its a very one sided fight, because its unfair to shin
@@titanusgodzillaa4274 MechaGodzilla’s very existence proves that Legendary can fail to finish the job *even* when he knows what to do and how to do it. Without the Ghidorah head Legendary tore off in the second encounter MechaGodzilla would’ve never come into existence. Legendary didn’t go find the head and destroy it because his senses pinged Ghidorah as Dead. And with only a chunk like that left over, Shin would obviously shut down to the point where he would ping ‘dead’ as well. Further more, in the MechaG battle Legendary was very clearly losing it because of his battle with Kong earlier. If Kong and him hadn’t set aside their differences, MechaG absolutely would’ve killed one or both of them before he was disabled by the humans. Back to the Ghidorah head for a moment. The head was torn off in that encounter because Legendary believed it a viably critical wound. It was only when he came to the third encounter and saw Ghidorah had shrugged that off with ease that he went ‘okay, need Burning Earth tactics. *Leave Nothing Behind*.’ Legendary can easily make that same mistake here, tearing something off because he thinks ‘this thing is a malformed version of my own species, this is a severe and possibly delayed-deadly blow.’ That’s all Shin needs to starfish a new body to fight Legendary with again. And Shin is not constrained in his evolution and adaptation, so his fifth form would be a bio-style MechaGodzilla on steroids that also out masses Legendary the same way Ghidorah did. At that point, even if Legendary somehow defeated Fifth Form Shin again, he would be so battered and wounded that he would be unable to go Burning Earth on him. You have to get it right the first time with Shin. And that means knowing how he works from the moment you engage. This is information Legendary *doesn’t have* until it’s too late.
@@AzureGhidorah well what you said was not true. Godzilla didnt get to destroy the head for different reasons, most importantly is that the head is actually dead, its just able to signals after being decapitated, that said godzilla rightfully thought ghidorah was dead, because he was, the head would not have done anything had it not been for the company that started using it as a mind for mechagodzilla, but it was still dead. Mechagodzilla was made to combat each of godzillas strong points, yes, but he was only winning against godzilla because godzilla had literally just fought kong for hours wasting his energy and recieving damage from the fight, and he blew a hole threw earth which caused his beam to be depleted considerably, using mechagodzilla as a point as to why he wouldnt win against shin doesn't really mnake much sense since they both would use much different tactics to go against legendary, also the director said had godzilla not been tired and was healthy and full of energy, the fight wouldve been in favor of mecha. Shin genuinly would be taken care of within the first minutes of seeing legendary. Legendary WOULD know that he is not dead soon after shin was down. Godzilla would also most likely not decapitate shin like he did to ghidorah. he would probably use his beam more than melee. Also shin is literally an animal that has so much radiation to the point that it would probably even HELP legendary in the fight, if he gets too much energy where he is about to explode then thats even better, because thanks to mothra he can now release energy in a way which wont kill him.
The match everyone has been debating about, some saying shin, some saying legendary, gojicenter is gonna reveal the real winner, can't wait for the premiere.Keep up the good work gojicenter! Edit: i never got this many likes in my life, thank you all so much!!!
@Furry Enjoyer Even in 2014 bro, Godzilla stomps. Shin has no way to hurt him, his beams only output kilotons of TNT, where Godzilla at his weakest can endure atomic bombs over the megaton range. Multi continental at minimum.
@Furry Enjoyer shin literally got cheesed by humans lol, if anyone still thinks that shin had a more powerful atomic breath, remember that scene where godzilla digs a hole kilometers deep in seconds in gvk
Shins biomass mutates into its own sentient form if separated due to it's "G-cells". There is a Deleted Scene in Shin where, upon finding a piece of Shins flesh that's been blasted off, they see that it's growing eyes, teeth, and limbs, like a tumorous mass; they ultimately thought this might be too disturbing for people to conceive of as being connected to what they think of as Godzilla and too far removed from the "Godzilla Franchise", so kept the ideas but didn't include the scene. It's pretty damn creepy. There's actually a ton of cut content from Shin that goes into tons of detail of it's past, biology, and what it was originally intended to become. Given a different scenario, it would've become a Universe unto itself; in the film, it's revealed in the end that Shin starts evolving to mimic and replace Humans as an entire Species based on it's encounters with us. Shin was originally going to be much, much more.... horrifying, to say the least, based on concept art and storyboards.
So, basically shin would go full Akira. I had a feeling the film was going hard for a Horror vibe more than traditional Godzilla films. I kinda wish they kept the body parts growing new eyes and teeth. After all, they mention the biomass left behind could grow into new Godzilla in the film anyway, so why bother omitting that scene?
Glad you actually considered Shin's adaptability. Too many times people just assume MV Godzilla would destroy Shin and be done, and also completely disregard his adaptability entirely. Sure, if we're talking strictly Shin's 4th form as seen and nothing else, then MV Godzilla would win. However, if we actually take Shin Godzilla as a whole, it's not that simple. Shin can't be killed by normal means, and whilst MV may have the majority of stats, that's not everything. Not everything is as simple as "who has the most boxes filled, and whoever does wins". In scenarios like this that's not the case, especially when the opponents main gimmick is to litteraly change themself to combat what's infront of them. W vid
one thing is, during the fight, legendary would probably see the regeneration happening, and because it has fought against 2 different regenerating things, (the one mentioned at the end, and the 3 headed one from KOTT) he would probably be like "oh, shit, i got this" *BOOM*
As shown in the Evangelion x Shin Godzilla event, Shin seems to have some insane body strength since he doesn't react nor is he affected by multiple giant mechs trying to tackle him.
I think there is some discrepancy as to whether or not this contributes to Shin's abilities but knowing Shin's biology it is unlikely that it does since there was no instance when Shin would need to gain that kind of strength. Idk what do you think?
Let's be honest here. If we're talking about actual lore and facts the fact is that Shin is evolution incarnate. Meaning if legendary does manage to knock em down, Shin is going to keep evolving to beat his enemy. The humans had to freeze him down to the molecular level just to stop his evolution that would definitely have taken over the world. Look up Shin's evolution video done by MindHQ, you'll see how Shin would have became the most powerful Godzilla in existence.
Yes, But the main problem is that Shin feeds on nuclear wastes rather than radiation that's why after heavy use of energy it goes into hibernation for almost 2 weeks. But, if Shin would absorb radiation then it wouldn't need to hibernate and those evolutions would make it a very strong Godzilla. If it reaches its 8th or 10th stage then it might be able to defeat even Godzilla Earth.
@@BiggieJ4224 That's now how Shin's evolution works, though. It doesn't evolve when it wants. Shin evolves and changes based on interactions between it and the environment; on cause and effect. It doesn't go ''I'm fighting a kaiju? I choose to become a god and win instantly''. It goes more like ''What the fuck is that? OH, it bit me... That hurts. I should get thicker skin so it doesn't hurt me with it's teeth again... '' and it does that for everything. It takes a bit of time for it to evolve and adapt, and it needs to interact with stuff to do so. It's not nearly as instant as you might think. It doesn't go god mode when it wants; in fact, it can't. As ridiculous as Shin is, there is SOME form of realism or science attached to the way it evolves. It's not like in anime where characters transform at will. It has to have a reason or something done to it to evolve and it's evolution is relatively grounded or makes some sense when you look into it.
@@mr.goblin6039 I wasn’t talking literally as a “god”, and I’m already aware shins evolution isn’t instantaneous, but given enough time he will eventually always have something that is stronger than him or at least is a weakness and every time that occurs he will have to adapt to it reactively you know like a big giant lizard that’s like him, threatening his existence
i think one thing that was overlooked here is that Legendary Godzilla has an almost supernatural ability to sense other enemy kaiju even if that kaiju isnt even full alive yet, for example sensing the awakening power at the centre of the earth, and getting so enraged by just a single mecha Godzilla eyeball that he attacked and destroyed the entire facility where it was housed, he could even sense the collective strength of humanity and how that related to its own power. all that is to say i believe Legendary Godzilla would be able to tell that shin was not dead after the initial victory and so would probably continue to blast the corps until he could no long sense the presence of an enemy kaiju threat.
This is DEFINITELY one of those "depending on the circumstances" battles. Like Goji center said, Legendary wins against 4th form, but what happens next determines the fight. There IS a fair chance Legendary would opt for total disintegration, since he's fought 2 titans that regenerated as fast if not faster than Shin, and he would know to completely destroy him. If he doesn't though, Shin's 5th form would likely take on Legendary almost as effectively as Mechagodzilla did in GvK.
But how would LG know that Shin has that level of regeneration is they would be fighting for the first time. Just because LG knows of the ability to recover from biological death doesn't mean he knows that a kaiju he just met has that ability. So unless LG woke up on the wrong side of the bed to stick around to make sure to vaporize every cell of Shin Gojira, which is borderline impossible, a defeated Shin could rise again deadlier than ever for round two.
@@lizmuro3082 he did it in the film, he literally transformed 3 times and is transforming while fighting the army in the end of the movie, his even trying to transforming to become human
One could argue that 1) Shin's ray would power up Legendary into his Burning state because of its radioactive nature, and 2) that Godzilla would scorch the remains as when he disintegrated Ghidorah's head, it was still screaming and would likely conclude that turning it ash was the only option due to prior experience (read: their previous encounters before the film)
@@The_Christian_Kirbo shin only cut through buildings alone that's different from hitting a kaiju. Saying it's "deadly" doesn't mean anything when there's no evidence it can cut through anything but buildings
@@The_Christian_Kirbo he has very little chance of winning in any situation unless legendary stands there and lets shin kill him. Legendary is a combative godzilla. Shin is not. There is no contest here.
@@Kaiju-bm4ts If ANY piece of Shin is left, it can regenerate and possibly clone while evolving to withstand Legendary. So basically: Legendary wins but if there is any piece of Shin left then Legendary is absolutely dead.
If the whole battle hinges on LG not realizing that shin regenerates then its a null point. The only way LG would not notice Shin regenerates is if he kills it in one hit otherwise Shin would regenerate the wounds he sustains thus showing LG he can. In his battle with Gidora he clearly knew to completely eat or desintegrate every piece of him.
I don't think people state enough how much LG has actually learned on his feet against opponents. He spotted the weakness of the male muto being so predictable with its movements which allowed him to use his tail. He had an age to time that hit. You mentioned Ghidorah but he also had to figure out how to get into the position to vaporise him in the first place. I think he knew from the Antarctic fight to keep on top of him and overpower him with brute force, he just didn't have the means to until he went nuclear. And he beat Kong by switching tactics and not relying on his breath, instead matching Kong for speed while matching it with an overwhelming and relentless brutality that Kong just couldn't cope with. He's always had to figure out how to beat an opponent, it's just that the minute he can use that advantage he is absolutely merciless.
I personally think this battle could go two ways, either legendary is able to almost immediately kill shin before it can start evolving or the battle takes much longer and shin is able to evolve to counter all of legendary’s moves
How do you expect Legendary to kill Shin tho? It’s stated in the movie that even if Shin is blown to chunks he can regenerate at an alarming pace. Only way to kill him is vaporizing him completely or freezing him. None of which LG can do.
@@Cronoroid the thing is that shin (in it’s 5th form) has no real way to kill legendary. Although shin’s atomic blast would certainly hurt legendary I doubt it would kill him, and if shin does use it’s s atomic breath it would overheat and have to go into a catatonic state, giving legendary plenty of time to kill it.
@@julisseperez7810 Shin won’t stay in his 4th form. He will constantly evolve and adapt to LG. And if he goes dormant, LG will probably rip him to shreds, thinking he’s dead, when he in fact isn’t.
@@Cronoroid Inside the movies, Godzilla is capable of sensing the lifeforce or SOMETHING from other living Kaiju from anywhere on the planet, I mean, it took only a single mechanical eyeball for LG to attack that one factory in the beginning of GVsK. If Shingodzilla was defeated, I'm sure that LG would keep grilling and stomping Shin until he was air.
Based solely on what I learned in this video, Shin would probably evolve and regenerate into something similar to Legendary Goji to counter it, and would likely win. However, Goji is experienced and would probably notice that once Shin is doing something suspicious while glowing and regenerating and transforming, Goji would probably blast it to dust with its Atomic Breath. If Goji took too long thinking about the situation, or being confused, however, Shin would likely become faster, more agile, and fight better, and might win the Atomic Breath fight. Is there any animation imagining these fights? That would be super cool.
Here's a thought: Shin Godzilla is constantly leaking radiation, and his breath attacks are highly radioactive. This would serve to power up Legendary, possibly allowing him to enter critical mass and incinerate Shin completely.
This actually makes sense because we know that Godzilla gets more powerful with more radiation and if shin kept leaking radiation then Godzilla could probably reach the form that we saw in king of the monsters
@@omegadragon0949 There are also Kaiju that MV Godzilla have fought that also leak massive radiation and MV Godzilla was not able to effectively acquire the radiation that Shin leaks. Plus if MV Godzilla did I doubt he'd be able to render Shin completely annihilated about with half of the amount of power Mothra gave Godzilla in GvK
The fact that Shin Godzillas chunks of flesh have a consciousness of their own makes him a more deadlier threat as he can make extensions of himself and those Godzilla's can be much more robust than the parent.
This is the first one I disagree with because the healing is so fast there is no way legendary wouldn't notice what was happening and just leave it. On top of that it's not exactly like legendary isn't used to fighting opponents with insane healing factors that have to be completely disintegrated. He did just that thing with Ghidorah.
@@squirrelbusken-cv4wy yes that form will in fact kill shin who’s to say he’ll be able to use it? That was interesting. While Legendary has a clear stat advantage, the fact that Shin’s biology is just unknown and unnatural was a way that it could counter Legendary. There would be no clear winner here, but if I had to choose, I would say legendary because of its faster speed and intelligence, it would have to probably have to fire its atomic breath down Shin’s throat. This was a fun matchup, hope to see more with no winner in the future!
firing his atomic breath down shins throat wouldn't do nothing because there is peaces of shin left and that means shin would still regenerate into a form that matches legendary godzillas stats. so i think shin wins
Definitely an interesting outcome. I thoroughly enjoy both of these iterations of Godzilla and I think you guys summed up their strengths pretty well. Shin's biggest advantage is his adaptability and since we don't really know what he could become in order to counter something like Legendary, it really throws a lot of wrenches into the mix. And with Legendary's intelligence he could also adapt strategically to overcome whatever Shin came up with. As the alpha Titan in the Monsterverse, Legendary Godzilla could also bring in reinforcements if they were close enough to potentially counter additional Shins or new forms. Really hard to say on this one.
@@thelocust619the big question is, can Shin truly recover from "a single cell". Second is, can Legendary locate any remaining Shin cells and WILL Legendary go after the remaining Shin cells.
Also I would like to mention that shin didn't get to shine much in the movie, the movie didn't give him his true potential like GojiCenter stated he only fought humans but if he would have faced kaiju shin would be a totally diffrent kaiju from what we know now. I would very much love to see GojiCenter concept art of his 5th form after a fight with Legendary
Holy sh!t that'd be terrifying. After the lengths he went to simply surviving humanity abusing his existence, if he had to face off against other Titans what could he become? Gah *shudders physically, shakes her head* He's the sweetest, most adorable monster I've ever seen but he's certainly a monster.
I would like to point out a glaring miss in legendary's regen, radiation causes a drastic increase, setting off a nuke near him cause him to heal almost instantly, against a creature like Shin that pretty much exudes radiation, his regen would be much higher than it normally would be.
Shin godzilla does spray radiation but you forgot that it also feeds on radiation it is literally called a walking power plant and was created by nuclear energy waste
@@SplatsquidHarry shin tries to go to the nearest raidiation if he saw legendary and realized he has so much raidiation he might wanna try to absorb him
Right but there are limits to the amount of radiation Legendary can take before going to red mode, as evidenced in KotM. If one ground zero nuclear bomb explosion can take him from barely a heartbeat to unstoppable chain reaction that results in him going to Destroyer mode, what happens when the radiation keeps coming after that? We don't get to see that in KotM because he destroys Ghidorah in two energy castoffs, but would he eventually have gone to a fallout condition and melted down completely?
Another question would shin have the same issue or would he have little to no limitation due his regen, He could potentially just keep growing. @@HerrinSchadenfreude
The critical factor to keep in mind with Shin is that using his atomic abilities-especially the dorsal rays-basically cooks him. He expends a ton of energy, which makes him overheat very quickly, and he has to shut down almost immediately in order to regain his energy and return to a functional temperature. If he has a critical shutdown due to overusing his AB/AR in the midst of this battle, he’s a sitting duck. Legendary could rip him apart with little to no resistance. Of course, if he doesn’t go thermonuclear and scorch Shin’s remains from the earth then and there, Shin could regenerate Tomie-style. But by that point, considering the potential evolutionary track taken to counter Legendary in the intern, I feel like Shin would no longer be a “Godzilla,” or even a GINO. He would be a different kaiju at that point. Legendary, on the other hand, can rapid-fire his AB. He’s more than capable of a sustained blast, but we also see him go full turret against Kong in their final battle. As a side note, it also seems like MV may have a secondary method of breathing while he’s letting off these extended shots. His lungs are immense, sure, but even he can’t hold his breath forever. So maybe he uses his gills while he’s shooting off the AB for more a few seconds. Speaking of the gills, those seems to be the only part of him vulnerable to human bombs. He barely notices any bullets or blasts in G14 until someone hits his gills, which is when he flails and roars in pain.
@@tiandi5585 if there ever comes a Tomie with Godzilla powers, we’re all doomed then and there. She’s already a walking kiss of death-she doesn’t need the ability to administer the nuclear variety!
It's also important to realize Shin can be damaged really easily. His body is rapidly decaying, and while it evolves quickly, that doesn't mean it heals just as fast. Legendary Goji is very tanky, but we've seen basic artillery burst chunks of Shins flesh off, though not always to beneficial effect for humans. Legendary also seems to get stronger when hit by nuclear or atomic energy, and the only thing that really hurt him extremely bad was the oxygen destroyer. There's no telling if Shin's beams would harm him as badly as people think.
It really comes down to a few things... #1: (chiefly) how long will it take L. Godzilla to figure out he has to 'delete' Shin in order to win, and what's his solution? (I prefer the toho method of blast targets into the sub when all else fails) #2: How will Shin evolve, and will it's combat strategy evolve with it? And #3: how does Shins evolution and healing react to burning out it's energy?
3:16 Shin Goji has a weakness between his dorsal spikes. That's why the bunker buster bombs (M.O.P. bombs) penetrated his hide there. It isn't the spikes themselves that are his weakness.
Finally, something to spice up this channel even more! We all have been waiting for this epic battle. Some might say Shin is the winner, some might say the opposite, but Goji Center will finally tell us... who the winner is.
It really depends on how quickly or efficiently Legendary deals with Shin. If he doesn't immediately kill Shin after their first confrontation, it's almost certainly a win for Shin. So it really depends on his arrogance and pride at that particular moment. Anything anyone says that Legendary will counter Shin with, Shin will just adapt to negate that weakness when he gets the chance. Which is why any fight that doesn't end ASAP will just lead to Shin's victory
Assuming Legendary has the ability to use the same nuclear pulse that he did against Ghidorah, it's pretty much a guarantee that Shin would immediately get wiped out on first blood But I agree that if Shin was allowed time to adapt then it will be near impossible for Legendary to defeat it. But hey that's what the 2nd video of this battle was about.
Legendary wins because 1, He absorbs radiation, which Shin emits and needs and also accelerates Legendary's regen and causes Burning Godzilla. 2, He can sense the location and status of every kaiju, meaning he'd be able to sense that Shin's not dead and that potential severed limbs are now counting as a kaiju and alive.
@@ebutuoytikcus4352I don't think Legendary would be able to locate Shin if he was small enough. Legendary didn't go after Kong when he was at Skull Island, didn't go after Frozen Ghidorah, and didn't care about Pupa Mothra. Legendary didn't even take out Rodan after KotM after it betrayed him.
I think you forgot the "alpha call", if Legendary beats Shin and hypothetically leaves him there on the ground, surely he would notice immediately the moment shin starts evolving, and probably he would return to completely destroy him. An example of this is the moment legendary started looking for Mecha G since the very first moment it was activated, and also another point I wanted to say is , when Godzilla Legendary recognizes a major threat, he doesn't expect it to surrender, and instead he goes for the killing.
What you said was true. But you forgot to do one simple basic thing which puts clever theorists and half-witted encyclopaedias apart that is taking into account the perspective of the other party. 😀
@@shmev1338 They would not be the same species, obviously, but I'm asking, why Shin wouldn't be a titan? If I take your concept, then, they're not from the same universe, so they cannot fight... Sound dumb, don't you think?
Hey, Goji Center, I don't know if you'll see this comment but I have a few video ideas 1. Shin godzilla versus Mechagodzilla 2. Pacific rim yeagers versus monsterverse titans part 3 with the mutos, behemoth, and shimo 3. What if godzilla was in the Pacific Rim universe? 4. Evolved Pink Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla
I really thought Legendary Godzilla was gonna win. I didn’t expected an unclear winner. But, only Legendary Godzilla’s ThermoNuclear form can make a difference in this fight, or maybe a stronger form that Godzilla secretly has. Also, there is a chance that Godzilla somehow realizes that Shin Godzilla is regenerating. He could build up all of his atomic energy to a very powerful atomic breath, like the hollow earth beam or something stronger.
I think he wouldnt notice bc he already would be gone I dont think shin can regen a death form so fast that But everything is pocible And he is in his g19 Form not in his g21 form he doesnt has that much radiation for a beam like the hollow breath yet
I mean he did fight ghidorah which has simillar regenerative capabilities to shin and he did disintegrate him (with the help of his thermonuclear form ofcours) so if he notices shin's simillar healing to ghidorah he might do that
@@gojirarex5138 Ghidorah only regenerates that fast when he is near to a very radioactive place or when he is charged with electricity Thats why he started regenerate at top of the volcano
Interesting conclusion. I’ve seen a lot of video’s showing Shin winning, either firing its beam into Legendary’s mouth or even destroying his spines. Considering how tough both are in their respective areas, it is really difficult.
They're catering towards the American audience indefinitely. Because the writers of Shin Godzilla even stated that he had more forms but humans were able to freeze him halting those forms. There is no competition, legendary might have experience but Shin is literally evolution incarnate.

@@deciduousoutdoors436 shin aint evolving fast enough to survive.Legendary dealt with regenerating monsters. He is smart enough to just obliterate shin without giving him time to heal or adapt. Shin literally only reacts to pain, so Legendary will ALWAYS deal the first attack. when shin begins regenerating, godzilla wont hesitate to blast him in an instant
Fighting Shin is like fighting the Borg, eventually it will adapt to everything. The question really is, if Legendary backed down, would Shin continue the fight? In its movie, Shin only really fought when met with a potential hazard, if it overwhelmed Legendary then it might turn its attention to other matters, letting Legendary get away and perhaps figure out a new plan. Realizing that it had to completely incinerate the beast is a bit out there, but not impossible as this is how Legendary defeated Ghidora. It might even team up with other monsters in the same way, getting Mothra and a few others to help, perhaps even playing out the same conclusion to King of the Monster.
From what I can tell, Shin would be defeated, heal and adapt to that danger. Legendary would insist on a rematch after learning Shin is still up and kicking. If we stick to 1v1 then my guess is that Legendary probably loses, with Shin more likely adapting faster than Legendary can figure out and pull off destroying every last piece of Shin. If we let Legendary get help from other kaiju, then it becomes a big question mark imo. As the video says, we don't know what this new form of Shin would be like, it really could go in all sorts of directions depending on the factors in play. If Legendary gets help from humanity specifically, then I think Legendary is more likely to get the win. It is humanity that stopped Shin before, and this time humanity has a Godzilla on their side, and Shin isn't specifically adapting to them. It does depend on the humans learning how to counter him before his adaptions go too far out of control (since in this situation they're only coming in at 5th stage, rather than learning about him from his 3rd on). It is hard to say definitively since again this 5th form has too many unknowns, but I'd still be willing to give the Legendary human combo the likely win here.
Shin essentially responds like a proper animal, only attacking when it feels threatened or scared. Even if Legendary backed down, Shin likely wouldn’t be able to recognize that he was doing so, and would probably just try to continue to attack until its opponent was dead.

Godzilla also beat multiple Shinomuras, which can also regeneration from a single cell, and were capable of blocking out the sun. Now let's look at Shin, he destroy some buildings, and had to recover for a week, got bodied by a bunker buster, and couldn't adapt to a *slow* military in time.
I feel that Shin's mutation would ultimately grant it the win, no matter what legendary tried. After one or two fighting rounds between the two, humans would probably catch onto the fight and try to help legendary out by nuking shin, but at the same time, who's to say that the nuke will completely destroy every cell of shin? and who's to say shin hasn't built up enough defense during the fight to just tank the nuke? I believe even with human help, shin would eventually win, no matter how long it takes. Not only that, but his 5th form when fighting against legendary would probably be something vaguely more humanoid, just like in the movie, but instead of being a hive mind of thousands of small creatures, it would be one, massive creature, well equipped with speed and agility. I also bet this 5th form wouldn't have a tail, or at least not a big one since that would slow him down, and shin would probably use his hands, fingers, or chest as extra orifices for the beams to come out of. We have seen him make beam areas on places like his tail and spine, so its safe to assume he'd be fine putting them on other places as well. damn i didn't realize how much i wrote until after writing it 💀
I'd like to say with Shin Gojira requiring to "charge up" and condense its breath the amount of time it takes I would imagine Legendary Godzilla wouldn't just be sitting there waiting for the deadly beams to come out.
But he o Kay needed to condense his laser the first time he used it. The rest of the movie he was setting those things off in like a second. And he can fire them from anywhere on his body.
Legendary Fans: Legendary Has Strenght, Speed, and melee capability, Legendary will win this fight! Shin Fans: No, uh. Legandary is egoist and with Shin evolve ability, Shin will Win Goji Center: Nope
@@nitrumlegal7470 It takes shin 2 full weeks to recover from his radiation.. Now imagine he needs to recover his radiation but blocked due to Doughegoji “might” feed on his radiation exposure.. And trying to evolving/repairing is over there..
I don't think Legendary took damage from the weapons, he just reacted to them. I don't remember seeing him bleed or anything from a missile. So not reacting isn't a sign of being tougher, just being slower to react or being stupid. When a fly lands on my arm I still react, doesn't mean the thing did any damage to me at all though
@@dragonlotus3728 not really, just saying reacting to something isn't the same as taking damage. I react to a hair touching me, though it does zero harm. Drop that hair on my dog, he don't care, doesn't even notice. Surface nervous system just doesn't equal danger
@@majinjason it would make more sense if you said the military weapons hitting Godzilla is like a human reacting to getting bitten by mosquitoes and trying to swat them away.
I feel that it really depends on the second fight who wins. I feel Shin would be better adapted to face Legendary, but even if he got faster and stronger he still reacts based on what the opponent does, costing him time. Legendary would probably win a second fight, although it would be much harder, and may understand Shin needed to be completely destroyed. If he doesn't then I think Shin would ultimately win within the next fight or two.
That would actually depend on how shin evolves, if he does evolve to match legendary he would take the L but if he evolved into something that could nuke legendary then he would win, it’s also explained he can literally grow wings in the movie so i wouldn’t really be surprised if he turned into space Godzilla😂
If I remember right, in Shin Godzilla, he destroys the second fighter pilot squad who were trying to drop bombs on his dorsals before they can drop them, so that leads me to believe that he wouldn't get hit with a lot of the same attacks that Legendary G-Man used in their first encounter. Such a toss-up since we have no idea what Shin's next form would look like, but he lacks battle experience, and that's one of Legendary's biggest advantages against everybody
@@winegums1 right but dont forget what evolution is. It wouldnt take long at all for shin to match legendaries moves also w him evolving at the same time it's a no go for legendary because even if he used his burning mode Shin could just regenerate from the molecular level which is why they had to ultimately deep freeze him to stop his evolution from taking over the world
@@deciduousoutdoors436 And let's not forget that Legendary would still be recovering from their previous bout while Shin would come back almost completely different and healed over
Since this was a battle against form 4 of Shin, I'd say the victory goes to Legendary. If form 4 of Shin would need to evolve to beat Legendary, I would consider it the loser. I know it's a bit tricky since Shin can evolve, but if it does then it's no longer the same match up.
Well think about it like this if shin was in his first form in the monster verse when it got to it's 4 form it would be more rounded to the world it's in, denying shin the ability to evolve wouldn't even matter because Godzilla likely dose t even have the ability to kill shin in the amount of time needed before he evolves
You say Shin would evolve, but Legendary won’t give him the chance. Godzilla isn’t really in the business of leaving behind survivors. If Shin doesn’t bow down, Legendary will reduce him to ash with his Atomic Breath. And we’ve seen how physically and defensively weak Shin is compared to Legendary, so it wouldn’t even be that difficult to do for the big radioactive lizard.
@@decimation9780 MV Godzilla actually TENDS to leave enemies alone, if he beats them down. Continued defiance is what gets you, and realistically Shin would go down initially, MV would leave and by the time Shin begins wreaking havoc again? He'd of evolved an effective set of counters to MV. Adaption is not against the rules, otherwise the idea of say.. MV feeding off a radiation source(like Shin himself)would be against the rules. While I agree Shin gets STOMPED initially, a second round would get real messy, real fast. Especially seeing what Shin's planned evolutions were? It makes MV Godzilla look like a toddler.
I definitely agree that this is a tough call. BUT you forgot a key weakness of Shin: Heat. Shin had to specificly evolve to not overheat, but this adaptation was only counter to the heat IT generates, not really external sources.... Say... A atomic breath? Also, Legendary Feeds on radiation, and is a clear learning creature. It would probably go 2 rounds, but no further. Once Shin Got up once, Legendary wouldn't be stupid enough to stop the fight just cause Shin went down. He would make sure this thing was done, most likely by blasting it until nothing remains. Not to mention, it COULD go thermal. Remember, it reached that state due to absorbing too much atomic energy. Shin generates this energy, and I could see Legendary getting it's fill from shin. And if it reaches Thermo state, it'd be a EXTREMELY one sided fight. Thermo Exutes enough heat to flash liquify Metal and stone, not to mention what it did to Monster Zero. Remember, one of Shin's Key Weaknesses is heat, and it would not be adapted to these levels. Thermo would be MORE than enough to Erase Shin. While it'd definitely be a unique fight, Legendary has the higher chance of winning in my book.
No this is fact goji center be playing wit LG intelligence sometimes bc Godzilla has “DANGER SENSE” something like Spider-Man so wht tht being said Godzilla wouldn’t even let the man get up bc he would of since “NUCLEAR POWER” tht helps shin regenerate LG stomps this was bias asf not gonna lie
People always forget that shin is a walking nuclear powerplant which is a food to legendary goji which means, legendary goji will not only have unlimited regeneration, but also gets infinite power source while fighting shin. And the fight will end til shin is depleted and burn to crisp by legendary.
That's actually a very good point , but you have to also remember that the heat from shin godzilla's body has been already solved , he can withstand a great amounts of heat before overheating , I'd say enough time to evolve to overcome the outer heat sources problem , shin godzilla also has thermal vents to rid of the nuclear waste that cause the heat in the first place , ( some people are pointing out that Legendary Godzilla can absorb that energy , but that simply is impossible , he can only absorb pure nuclear matters , like the nuclear bombs or the radiation from the earth core , add to that , it's confirmed that other monsterverse titans are also giving off radiation , the same radiation legendary godzilla absorbs , yet it was never showed that he could absorb that radiation , so he can't get radiation of any other living thing , and even if he can , what shin godzilla gives off is literally waste , useless waste ) so heat isn't actually a problem anymore , I mean , he already have endurance to his extremely hot atomic breath , I don't see legendary's as a problem , infact , that would have been good for shin , it's explained in the movie that in the two weeks " rest " he literally manipulates AIR and WATER to make radiation , legendary's radiation would only give him more radiation to keep up , since that radiation is pure and does not harm nature , so , instead of legendary godzilla absorbing the radiation from his opponent , shin godzilla is the most likely one to do that , which would give him enough radiation to evolve to keep up with legendary godzilla , and even if legendary godzilla somehow defeated shin godzilla , shin godzilla would just get up again to evolve and overcome legendary godzilla , and even legendary godzilla somehow knew that he should eliminate every cell of shin godzilla's body , he would simply not be able to , let's say that his atomic breath is enough to actually burn shin godzilla , he just can't , just imagine trying to burn every single cell of any creature , that's impossible , cells are really a lot , you can't not miss at least one thousand of 'em , these cells would evolve to counter legendary , and by the time legendary godzilla arrives , these would have been already something too dangerous for even him , I can go more to prove that shin godzilla is definitely the winner but I think that's enough .
I think it really just depends on how quickly legendary can figure out Shin’s strengths. Legendary is obviously more intelligent, so i think in a longer fight, legendary could figure it out and win. But if legendary never figures out that he needs to incinerate the entire creature, then he’s definitely going to lose.
thing is, godzilla might know to obliterate the whole thing because he fought ghidorah. he regenerated his head and goji beamed it to nonexistence. he might learn to wait and see and as soon as a sign of healing appears, he'd kill it all.
@BoroPhil I mean maybe he would learn about the strong regenerative Shin has, but it might take a while or longer to learn about the regenerative part where Shin can regrow themself from just a chunk of their flesh. So if LG encounters Shin again or 2 more, he might think of them as offsprings or other kins of Shin's species

My two cents is that Shin's charge up for his beam is over-exaggerated here. In the movie, when the beam concentrates, that's him learning to use the beam - adapting. When Shin uses his beam in the rest of the film it only takes a second or two to activate.
Once he used it once, he did it again with no time in between
True
Indeed

You also forgot to mention the first time he had done it, like this film mentions, the first time he used his Atomic Heat Ray he expended far too much energy and had to "warm up" again to even move around, which this video did cover somewhat, also by the time the final confrontation rolled around he had adapted to be able to not only sustain but manage his energy as well as a larger reservoir of said energy
Shin Godzilla seems like a “lose the fight, win the war” kind of creature
I think being the king of the monsters, Legendary Godzilla can actually notice Shin’s evolution after the moment when he is born. So Legendary will kill Shin and destroy his body as fast as Legendary can.

About resistance:
The 2 rockets, that you call in a quite strange matter, are actually called “Bunker Busters”, which, as you see in the name, were capable to dig straight to the bunkers under the ground.
Also another thing about resistance:
Although Godzilla did tank a nuke, it only powered him up, so it’s not really of a resistance feat, but durability
I think read somewhere that shin would eventually develop its own, small internal universe.

ESPECIALLY if there is a nuclear reactor nearby to drain of power for a super charge.

a massive factor overlooked is stamina, LG has shown to have quite an impressive amount of stamina as seen in his final fight between Kong and Mecha-Godzilla.
@@sandrahughes4117shins body definitely was defending itself naturally.
The W.

I think they could have used more thought when analyzing Shin Godzilla’s atomic breath. They took the initial development, the evolution of it, as the process of it using it instead of looking at how it uses it later, where it pulls it out in an instant because it knows how to use it now.
Narrating these must be hell on your vocal chords. I respect the grind
@@madmaxiemartialartsnerd485 He absorbed a nuclear bomb going off with no injury. That's weaponized radiation

Of course

I believe LGodzilla can vaporise SGodzilla but can he win the second In counter to get the chance
if shin was downed i think that he would stay downed to regenerate than to fight, his instincts dosent want to fight IMO, he only wants destruction
They low balled legendarys atomic breath
Yeah too.
@@josemiguelcalahuchenoriega even if shin would charged it up faster, legendary will still dodge since he's the faster of the two and the aiming of shin godzilla is so slow since his neck is stiff
you're right about the faster atomic charge on shit but if shin and godzilla met on the first time, it will still take a lot of time to charge it up
Shin's charge up time is only for the first usage of the ability since he is just adapting, all follow up beams were fired quickly and consecutively.
So I would say that if Legendary don't beat him in one or two rounds then it basically GG, since Shin would keep scaling in power level until he become an actual God.
ya if shin 2 is released hes meant to explode causing a new big bang and recreating the universe

This^^
wouldn't it hurt him as well tho?
@@MatthewMorganReddwood mechagodzillas beam isnt radioactive

Props you named all the military equipment correctly. So many people/content creators git this stuff wrong all the time
Remember, a lot of Shin’s physical issues are due to 3 things, physical instability, mental instability, and rapid conversion from a fish to a terrestrial biped.
Wow an actual smart person
I actually never thought of that
This was one of the first things that came to my mind, shin is, essentially, an all you can eat buffet for legendary.
Legendary might probably stay around the defeated Shin just to feed on that radiation and if Shin starts to noticeably evolve and move in this time he’s getting stomped on
@@tacomyloh9799 I think shin could survive being stomped on, although he might get severely injured

@@dopesponge8430 no lmao
Also shin was supposed to start shedding when he froze hes still alive when he froze i wonder why they stopped maybe cus of the budget
*Leave Nothing Behind*.’
Legendary can easily make that same mistake here, tearing something off because he thinks ‘this thing is a malformed version of my own species, this is a severe and possibly delayed-deadly blow.’ That’s all Shin needs to starfish a new body to fight Legendary with again.

They had to reign in the Evangelion guy before things got too Evangelion.
It would have been an interesting shout out to a Godzilla foe, Hedorah the smog monster.
I'd say that gives Shin an upper hand on terrain. 🤡
So, basically shin would go full Akira. I had a feeling the film was going hard for a Horror vibe more than traditional Godzilla films. W vid

Yes,
But the main problem is that Shin feeds on nuclear wastes rather than radiation that's why after heavy use of energy it goes into hibernation for almost 2 weeks. But, if Shin would absorb radiation then it wouldn't need to hibernate and those evolutions would make it a very strong Godzilla. If it reaches its 8th or 10th stage then it might be able to defeat even Godzilla Earth.
I would say this is like an unstoppable force meeting an unmuvable object situation.
THATS WHAT IM THINKING
It really wouldn’t be, I personally like legendary more but shin can evolve into a god if he wanted to
@@BiggieJ4224 That's now how Shin's evolution works, though.
Shin is the unstoppable force that can adapt. If the other is unmovable, he’ll just cause a meltdown

I almost forgot how bad the Mechagodzilla looked and fought in that movie. Looked and acted like a Transformer.

So unless LG woke up on the wrong side of the bed to stick around to make sure to vaporize every cell of Shin Gojira, which is borderline impossible, a defeated Shin could rise again deadlier than ever for round two.
yeah
We can't just bring up shin Godzilla might do we have to see him actually do it

@@micahduffus5690 Shin regenerates very quickly. Unless Legendary defeats him in under a minute, he'd likely see Shin regenerating as they fought.
But Shin's beam is concentrated in a thin laser, and because of that it is VERY deadly and could possibly cut Legendary in half.
@@The_Christian_Kirbo shin only cut through buildings alone that's different from hitting a kaiju. in one of the deleted scene in shin godzilla, his severed flesh is quite literally alive even regenerating after shins “death”

Except if LG uses any atomic weaponry during the battle (which he for sure would) SG would evole to counter act it
I personally think this battle could go two ways, either legendary is able to almost immediately kill shin before it can start evolving or the battle takes much longer and shin is able to evolve to counter all of legendary’s moves
You did an amazing job researching both of these guys to the absolute limit, and the outcome is honestly the most realistic scenario. Great job! 👍
Though legendary out performs shin, they still don't know who's the winner.
Either that or he overloads legendary godzilla. That would be messy
@@omegadragon0949 There are also Kaiju that MV Godzilla have fought that also leak massive radiation and MV Godzilla was not able to effectively acquire the radiation that Shin leaks. @@raptorjesus5870 but we don’t know what Godzillas radiation limits are
In KOTM he does have limits. G was about too self destruct bc he absorbed too much radiation from the nuke and his home until Mothra gave him boost.

This is the first one I disagree with because the healing is so fast there is no way legendary wouldn't notice what was happening and just leave it.

@@HerrinSchadenfreudehe wouldn’t melt down because he would expel that energy with nuclear pulses
Shin may ended up being two kaiju
That's it. Shin Godzilla's 5th form is Tomie.
(I prefer the toho method of blast targets into the sub when all else fails)
#2: How will Shin evolve, and will it's combat strategy evolve with it?
And #3: how does Shins evolution and healing react to burning out it's energy?
3:16 Shin Goji has a weakness between his dorsal spikes. That's why the bunker buster bombs (M.O.P. bombs) penetrated his hide there. It isn't the spikes themselves that are his weakness.
But legendaries actually is durable

My money is on Legendary Godzilla
Funny how the winner is neither
This didnt age well at all
The winner: It’s complicated
This aged hilariously badly. 🤣🤣
Which is why any fight that doesn't end ASAP will just lead to Shin's victory
not "if he doesn't immediately kill Shin"
it's "if he doesn't immediately disintegrate every single cells of shin."
Assuming Legendary has the ability to use the same nuclear pulse that he did against Ghidorah, it's pretty much a guarantee that Shin would immediately get wiped out on first blood
But I agree that if Shin was allowed time to adapt then it will be near impossible for Legendary to defeat it.
@@ebutuoytikcus4352Wait, Does Monster Zero( King Ghidorah) shoot out radiation

@@dragonlotus3728 but a mosquito makes you bleed. My point was that I didn't see the missiles do any real harm, even that of a mosquito
It wouldnt take long at all for shin to match legendaries moves also w him evolving at the same time it's a no go for legendary because even if he used his burning mode Shin could just regenerate from the molecular level which is why they had to ultimately deep freeze him to stop his evolution from taking over the world
@@deciduousoutdoors436 This fight reminds me of the cell games from dragon ball
@@deciduousoutdoors436 And let's not forget that Legendary would still be recovering from their previous bout while Shin would come back almost completely different and healed over
Since this was a battle against form 4 of Shin, I'd say the victory goes to Legendary. If form 4 of Shin would need to evolve to beat Legendary, I would consider it the loser. I know it's a bit tricky since Shin can evolve, but if it does then it's no longer the same match up.
As much as i love Shin, i agree Legendary Goji would win against current Shin Goji.
It's Godzilla vs Shin, it's the same matchup, taking that evolution from shin is being biased. But yes 4th form Shin gets bullied by any MV Godzilla.
Legendry's critical thinking evolves with every move and maybe speculates what his opponents next move could be
I definitely agree that this is a tough call.
One is in constant need of energy while the other has too much of it so it needs to excess that said energy. LMFAO
oh yeah
On the contrary, the fight would have to be ended quicker, or the shin will continue to adapt and evolve to Lg’s attacks
How would legendary know to incinerate Shin though.
thing is, godzilla might know to obliterate the whole thing because he fought ghidorah. he regenerated his head and goji beamed it to nonexistence. he might learn to wait and see and as soon as a sign of healing appears, he'd kill it all.
Yeah he would take note of everything he sees and try to counter it.
@@BoroPhil would he? To legendary, shin just might look like a slower and dumber version of himself
@@Destoroyahpng he would initially but once Shin uses any special abilities Legendary will take note and try to counter them.
@@arandomcrusader8822 well he would need to take his time I suppose.
