Great to see this, brings back memories of my time in the RN (60's and 70's) and times I marched behind the bootie band, wonderful. I noticed that many of the bandsmen wore moustaches back then, not so many these days, also good to see Wrens in the old uniforms, much better looking in my opinion. Well done to the marine band, always a top-notch performance. Nice seeing The Queen and Princess Margaret together.
My father was a Royal Marine Commando from 1947 to 54,, fighting in Korea,, and many other places,, i have many photos,, borneo, Burma,, many of his platoon got killed in the jungle,, so many good lives lost... they looked like real soldiers, with severe training,,,, anyone out there have any experience there,,, i have his marriage photo in his military dress uniform,,, i have a high regard for these people,, .... you should too........

@@martinheskins7073 Thank you for your service.
Great to see so many BBb Tubas on the march, such a shame modern UK military bands have few, if any.
Still glad we use tubas in general in the UK and sousaphones or contra bugles didnt take over
Awesome military music
Wow wow 👍
Excelente, histórico!
That's so long ago. I haven't been born that time!
Nothing has changed other than the Band Members.
Neither was I Leonard.
I was born 10 years later in Feb 1998.
Nice one Martin. I was the one in the tiger skin!
Which one? I see 4.
I was two years old when this happened.
