I was actually at this performance. I was coming out of the Churchill War Rooms and saw the setup. I asked what was going on and if I could attend. For a small contribution (10 Pounds?) which was for the benefit of the British equivalent of the US Navy and Marine Corps Relief Society I was in. I also bought a CD. There were DVD's as well but they were not compatible with US players so I am very glad to find this RUclips channel. Sean Walsh LCDR USN (Ret)
And He replies to you: "We agree that the commentary does tend to overlap the music at times. But Mr. Collingwood has such a good voice and speaks impeccable BRITISH English so listening to him is a joy. Besides, he probably needs the work, so We help out where We can. As my Son always says: 'Do unto others...etc.' Keep saying your prayers, I DO pay attention even though it may seem that I don't. Fondly, J (Jehovah) GOD. P.S.- There is an old saying 'God is an Englishman'. Not that far from the truth!"

Thank you Sean for your contribution 👍
39:37 I go regularly and will be there this year. For some reason it always makes me very proud, perhaps it’s the 20 years RN service.
What a marvellous performance with a brilliant band i have never seen something like that. I am from the Netherlands.
Tbf, the Marshal Zhukovh piece was on the back of the work of the Dutch Corps 👏
Best military band in the world.
Laat Nederland maar komen.
Un bolivia bro
Good but not the best
Thank you very much for this marvelous display....Oh how I recall my marching years in the 1950's
Immaculate, excellence in motion by and very British
The Captain General March - sublime and an Excellet Tribute to HRH Prince Phillip. I'm sure he enjoyed it as much as I do.
"The Mall' Full of the Worlds finest Military Band! Well. it just can't get any better than that for me! BZ! And Thank You!
STB....Simply The Best
British and proud of it....
Marvellous. What a performance. I love it
Love the royal marines band always makes me want to march and cheer
They used to make my old man march in 1943 but then Chief PO had something to do with that also
@@Lee-70ish I marched in rememberance day parades for St Johns Ambulance
Makes me emotional. In a lovely way.
Thanks for the wonderful tribute to LOTR 💚
Perfection.

Great videos
Gibraltar's second half sounds like a Star Wars song for the Empire.
Different class
Yep, FIRST!
I like the commentyr so you can learn what is going on
What a great Band. Being an Aussie we do not get such elegance. Our bands are crap compared to British Bands
I played the hole of this parade apart from the drum solo once.
Also I'm 8th
HOLE REALLY?
Dear Mr. God, please, send us a version with nothin' else than just the music speak... the music... and nothin' else... PLEASE!! ^^

There is some interesting information given by the commentator.......
There is a video with just the band. They march down the mall and the fellow filming does a great job. Good luck!
Is there a separate recording of The Grand Fleet March done by the Royal Marines?
Wow I would to have ticket
